Rating: Summary: very good Review: This is the first Virginia Henley book I read. I bought it one time in a bookstore, forgot about it and then a month or so later decided to read it because I was all out of others to read. Once I started the book I couldn't put it down it totaly captivated me!! I kept thinking to myself why hadn't I started this sooner? well since reading this book I've read all her others and never been disapointed!!!!I'd recomend her books too anyone!
Rating: Summary: Don't Read This Book! Review: This was awful! A complete waste of time and money. The characters were selfish and self absorbed. I do not know who is worse--Ms. Henley for actually thinking up these characters or me for actually wasting my time and reading about them. I think in parts of the book Ms. Henley tried to make it like Whitney, My Love. Not even close! Back to the drawing board, Ms. Henley!
Rating: Summary: excellent!!! Review: This was definately one of my favourite of Virginia Henly's novels. When done wrong by, do wrong back...this seems to be the heroine sara Bishop's motto as, after being ignored by her new husband, she sets out in the England courts, as 'Sabre Wilde' to seduce him, and leave him wanting more. But the 'sea god' Captain Shane Hawkhurst is more than sara can handle, and when faced with him...will she be the one to lose her heart, or will her plan for vengence prevail? this was a truly amazing novel, and it definately kept me on my toes.
