Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: 2000 Kisses was a very exciting book with romance and murder anything you want is in this. I am a male and yes I do like romance. This is a book that kept me interested from beginning to end. GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT
Rating: Summary: Great Southwest Flavor Review: Christina has created a great sense of place with the town of "Almost", Arizona. Romantic tension, a well executed plot, and above all the memorable characters and quotable dialogue we've come to expect from Christina Skye. Another winner from Skye!
Rating: Summary: I want to live in "Almost"! Review: Christina Skye brought the Southwest to life for me. This is a town and a story you'll never forget. Just the right mix of romance, suspense and humor. It's not Draycott Abbey, but you will love these characters just as much. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: Christina Skye is the most consistent author that puts you the reader into every story. 2000 kisses takes place in the present time but still intertwines the past into the story. I could not put this book done.
Rating: Summary: good premise, bad execution Review: Disappointing. That's all I can say. I'd never read anything by this author before and if this is a fair example of her work, I won't be reading her in the future. The "romance" between the two main characters was tepid, the characters themselves were extremely uninteresting and then there was some sort of mystical sub-plot going on through out the book that was never fully explained. AVOID IT.
Rating: Summary: WOW - What a page turner! Review: First book of Ms. Skye's that I had the pleasure to read -- Very timely story with Y2K just happening! Tess is a very successful ad-exec who finds $1M mysteriously deposited into her bank account on 1/1/2000. After a spirited spending spree (she ends up with a baby blue Mercedes Convertable! ), Tess finds out that she's spent someone's money; that someone being a very dangerous group money launderers etc... She has to run for her life, at her brother's recommendation to a little town, Almost Arizona. She ends up with a Cowboy/Sherriff that is Mel Gibson's lookalike (WOW If I could have that kind of luck!). She finds that she's spiritually drawn to the town through American Indian mysticism & ancient spirits that beckon to her. Its a really cool story - very imaginitive. TJ McCall is one very sexy man! I read the book in 2 days; couldn't put it down.
Rating: Summary: Really good Review: I am an avid fan of Christina's Skye's romances, in fact i have most of them, and I really wanted to read this book but the different comments about it made me slightly uneasy on what to expect. Would be as negative as some readers said it was or would it be good? Well, finally I gave in to my instincts about the author and ordered it and what i can say is...it was just sheer LUCK that i didn't let those negative reviews deter me from buying it. Becouse the truth is that this book is magic. YOU NEVER GROW BORED while reading it. Something always lies waiting behind the corner. Its not one of those books, one reads so many of,where the best parts are only in the begining and near the end. In this case EVERY part of the book is intresting and action packed. And, another thing -How could anyone say the love story between the two characters is tepid? I would recommend to whoever has never read any of Christina's Skye's novels to start reading them now. You won't be dissapointed. 2000 kisses is great and i recommend it whole heartily to everyone
Rating: Summary: good book but a couple of flaws Review: I have never read a book by Christina Skye and I picked this up on a whim. Overall, I would say it is well written and I really enjoyed the main characters. However, I must say the only thing I did not like about this book was the "mysterious" Mogollon cave dwellers/out of body experience. The book would have been stronger had Skye explained these mysterious flashbacks or had she left it out altoghether. But overall, a good book.

Rating: Summary: The unexpected Review: I have to admit when I picked up this book, the combination of the title, and Y2K theme did not intrigue me. In fact, I thought I was going to finish the novel dissatisfied. I was wrong. What starts off as a trite-sounding plot becomes very really. Ms. Skye fleshed out the characters and made what could have been a cliched plot absolutely wonderful. I felt thrown for a loop when she added the southwestern mystery to an already complex plot. I cannot rave enough about this book. For those of you that read the cover and think (like I did) "oh, no, will the Y2K hype never end! " put that out of your mind and settle in for a pleasurable read.
