Summary: Interesting storyline but didn't keep my attention
Review: This was an interesting storyline but found the story to be boring

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A page turner
Review: This was my first book by Kat Martin and I loved it. I couldn't put the book down. I was so enthraled that I wanted to know what would happen next.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Entertaining!
Review: This was my first Kat Martin novel and absolutely loved it. I read it in two days, I just couldn't put it down. It was an easy read that just pulled me along. I'm looking forward to going out to find more of her other novels. I'm always happy to find new romance authors.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good atmosphere, but overall disappointing
Review: This was one of the few paranormal romances I've read where the paranormal element was actually spooky.

Unfortunately, the hero, Jonathan, deceives the heroine and tries to charm her into doing what he wants. The heroine, Devon, does her share of deception, but Jonathan commits the most transgressions.

The weakest part of the novel, however, was the subplot involving Devon's former fiance. This could have been chopped out without hurting the novel.

I gave this book a C- at All About Romance.

Summary: for shame ZEBRA AND KAT MARTIN (AKA KASEY MARS)
Review: To start this is a really good book if you have not read it before,,it was good,,but SHAME ON ZEBRA KENSINGTON AND AUTHOR KAT MARTIN. I just wasted money. This book is a REPRINT of the "the silent rose" by Kasey Mars. it was published in 1994 under her other name. There is nothing on the cover of the new printing to let you know this,,no previously published by or anything. watch out, you can probably find this book at your local used book store for about half the price.

This habit of publishers and authors allowing this to happen really makes me angry,,what reason would they have to do this other than fooling the public?

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Stick with the historicals Kat!
Review: What can I say? I felt like I wasted mymoney! Boring and stupid! I love Kat Martin, but not her contemporaries!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An interesting read
Review: When I first heard that Kat Martin was writing a contemporary novel, I was very interested. I've always enjoyed reading her historical romance. Silent Rose is a good book. If your the type who go for ghosts and goblins and other supernatural beings (as I do) then this is one book you shouldn't miss. The only thing that made me hold back on that last star were the moments when the book dragged a bit. Devon and Jonathan are interesting characters though that hold your attention even through the slow pages. The kicker for me was the postcript from the author which says that some of the events described in the book happened to her! Makes you think more about the other "beings" existing in with us........
