Summary: A Star of a Book
Review: Anthony Talbert, or Animalistic, as the rapper is known to his fans, is used to getting any woman that he wants. Any woman, until he meets Randi Jacobs that is. When Anthony meets Randi at the restaurant where she works, he invites her to a party after his concert the following night. Excited, Randi goes, only to find out that Animalistic has plans to make her a member of his mating zoo. Insulted by Anthony's vulgar behavior, Randi leaves the party but not before she shoots insults disguised as darts at his ego. The following morning, Anthony remembers the one good girl at the party and vows to win her forgiveness. Can Animalistic win Randi's heart, or will he lose his in the process? You will have to read Rap Superstar, by Debra Clayton to find out.
I found this book to be an excellent read. Rap Superstar is a classic romance with a touch of hip hop. The characters were well-developed and all throughout the novel I found myself cheering for Randi and Anthony with hopes that their love would make it across the finish line. I laughed, I cried, and ultimately I turned the last page with the satisfaction of having read a wonderful love story. If you are a romance fan, Rap Superstar is a must read. Kudos to Clayton for a job well done!

Review: Debra Clayton's debut novel, Rap Superstar is an engaging hip-hop love story. Anthony Talbert, known by his fans as Animalistic, has been caught up in the game of fast living and fast women for far too long. Randi has been an Animalistic fan since he hit the rap scene, but her persona of him is temporary shattered after seeing how the rich and wild lives. Anthony is mesmerized with Randi, because she's nothing like the groupies he's accustomed to being around. Her unwillingness to be with him intrigues him so, that he pursues her almost to the point of obsession. Is Anthony ready to be a one-woman man or is this just a temporary phase? Can Randi overlook Anthony's animalistic lifestyle or will she miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime? The answers can be found between the pages of Rap Superstar. Ms. Clayton has successfully weaved a romantic tale between people from two different worlds. Review: I'm not sure about the other's who wrote reviews, but maybe they are just friends of the author, or something. But, this book was not that great. It has a catchy title and subject but the author should have put in more details. There was no climax at all. It was just blah!

Review: Pick this book up and you will not be able to put it down. That is what happened to me. A friend suggested that I read this book and when I got my copy I was not disappointed. Clayton pens a novel that will capture your emotions and have you sitting on the edge of your seat. This modern day romance will make you believe in love again and make you think that maybe a bad boy, ain't so bad. Clayton had me laughing and crying and talking to the pages of her debut novel. I can barely wait to see what this new artist has in store for us in the future. Kudos!!!

Review: Rap sensation and player extraordinaire, Anthony "Animalistic" Talbert thoroughly enjoys all the trappings of his success - fame, fortune, and a different woman in his bed every night.
One night after a sold-out concert, Anthony meets Randi Jacobs, to whom he is immediately attracted. Believing that Randi is like all of his other groupies, Anthony mistakenly assumes that Randi wants her chance to sleep with a superstar. Randi is attracted to Anthony, but not enough to compromise her morals and sleep with him after meeting him only one time. Not accustomed to being rejected, Anthony is so intrigued by Randi that he doggedly pursues her in hopes that he can get her to change her mind.
With a unique spin on the classic tale of love and romance, author Debra Clayton pens a good story, complete with characters different from the norm. Although there were some punctuation and grammatical errors, and some parts of the story that were stereotypical and somewhat demeaning to women, I enjoyed this book and look forward to other works by this promising new author.

Summary: Excellent Journey
Review: Rap Superstar takes a peak into the life of a superstar serching for love, something he has never experienced. While the love he is persuing, is running from what could be the love she never knew could exist. Ms. Clayton takes the readers on a journey that will make you laugh, cry, blush, and yell and scream all in one read. It really tests the emotions of each and every reader. The language of the book adds a sense of realness, where as most "romance" novels tone the language down, taking away the reality of life and its trials. Personally, this is a book that I would read over and over, and really experience every emotion again and again. Excellent read!!!

Review: RAP SUPERSTAR WAS A OKAY BOOK! RANDI TOOK SOME TIME BUT SHE DID FALL IN LOVE AGAIN!. AND ANTHONY TRIED HIS BEST TO BE A GOOD GUY BUT ITS HARD WHEN YOU HAVE GROUPIES,AM GLAD MRS CLAYTON LET ME GET A CHANCE TO READ THIS NOVEL I LOVED THE ENDING.
