Summary: I was hoping for more
Review: After reading Sebatian, Ali, Sarena and Dagon's stories, I guess I was looking for a little bit more depth in dealing with Tempest and Michael's story. This was a nice love story, but there was nothing exciting or no real plot to speak of. It was great seeing the other characters and having them interact with Tempest and Michael (watching Sarena and Ali pregnant was very funny and added some great wit to the story) but that was the highlight to me. Once you learned the premise of the story, (within the first 30 pages of the book), nothing really happens. We see over and over again Tempest's doubts about Michael, but we are supposed to see her love for him too. If love is the ultimate, end all, apex, zenith, etc, etc, etc, then there should have been no doubt in Tempest's mind about the outcome of her spell. It seemed to me, the only thing her doubts could have produced was to make Michael doubt himself and the choices he must make. Actually, that is what I thought the moral of the story should have been, that it was Tempest's doubts that had to be overcome, not Michael's "dark side". I felt much more empathy with Michael and liked the way his character was written better than Tempest. I only wish there was a little more internal conflict shown. Because I do not want to give away the little plot that there was, I will not elaborate, but to say that I did not feel like there was ANY internal struggle. It seemed to me that Michael figured everything out pretty early on. I did enjoy being sucked into the scenes, as if I was there in the room with our characters. Ms. Fletches does a great job accomplishing this and on that level of writing, she succeeds wonderfully and made the book worth finishing (to me). If you have read the preceding books, then I would pick this one up, though I did not like it as much as the other two.

Review: donna fletcher is an ok author but the novels don't have that spark that draw you back to re-read or gasp with emotions. temporary entertainment.

Tempest is a wise witch, one who gives to others, never asking anything for herself. She has loved in the past but had to banish her lover because he too was a witch, but one who practiced the dark side of the craft. Tempest sister has the sight, and has told Tempest that he has returned. Now Tempest must deal with Marcus again only this time will he have learned from his mistakes, or will he still perfer the dark side. I have read every one of Donna Fletchers books and have to say she has become a favorite. Her books are keepers and stay on my shelves to be reread and enjoyed again. She has a wonderful sense of humor and her characters are a joy. Ms Fletcher adds magic to her stories, which for me even adds to the enjoyment. Please keep writing, Ms Fletcher, and please keep using your own special brand of magic.

Summary: Magical Memories
Review: I truely enjoyed this book. But what I think that made it so was because I read the two books that preceeded this one, Magical Moments and The Wedding Spell. Only by reading these books can you fully enjoy this story of love, magic and trust. True this book didn't have as much humor that I normally enjoy but it had a good story to tell. I liked seeing Tempest as a woman as well as a powerful witch. And Micheal seaching and struggling to understand how his past life intertwine with the life he has choosen now. I would recommed this book but first you must read the others to appreciate it. I'm looking for the next book that follows which was hinted at in the end.

She takes him home with her to heal him and you can guess where the story takes off from there. Lots of times, authors are unable to complete a fantasy world that seems plausible (weird as that may sound) but Fletcher manages quite nicely. After reading "Magical Moments" I was eagerly looking forward to her next installment and it doesn't dissapoint like so many other sequels do. I recommend this to anyone who likes a little magic mixed in with their romance.

She takes him to a nearby village where the doctor informs her that he suffered a broken leg. Feeling guilty and heeding a vision her sibling foreseen, Tempest takes the rugged American into her home for him to heal. While Michael recuperates, an attraction erupts between he and Tempest. However, she wonders if he might be the warlock she once loved and banished. If he is that person, will he select love or return to the darkness that ended their previous relationship. If he is not that person, Tempest wonders why she feels so deeply towards him. In a relatively short time, Donna Fletcher has become one of the wizards of the fantasy romance sub-genre. Her latest tale, MAGICAL MEMORIES, will enhance her reputation for making the impossible seem plausible. The story line is fun due to the interaction of the charming lead characters.
