Rating: Summary: I read this one over and over! Review: This is not only my favorite Heather Graham book, but my favorite of the Civil War Cameron family series. Christa reminds me of myself in some ways. A little brash, impetuous. Acting first, thinking second. Both she and Jeremy are likeable and realistic. While fulfillment of their relationship takes awhile to gel, in the end there is no doubt that these two are meant to be together. One of the nice things about this book is that the way Graham has worked in Christa's brothers and wives has made it a stand alone work. You don't need to necessarily read the first two to grasp what the family is all about. I have kept this book and reread it about once a year.
Rating: Summary: Don't miss this one!!! Review: This is the story of Jesse and Daniels little sister Christa. This story picks up at the end of the war. Christa is a true southern belle and has survived the indignites and the defeat of her south. When marrigae to a Yankee Officer is the only way to save her families plantations she does not hesitate. Colonel Jeremy McCatuley is the lucky fellow and he has plans to make Christa see the benefit of a complete union between the two. With her new husband Christa moves west with the calvery. Sights that she can only imagine now become fact. She sees Indians, and stampeding buffalo. This hard existance only brings Christa and Jeremy together. This was my favorite of the three stories. A must read.

Rating: Summary: Great Follow-up Review: This was a great follow-up to One Wore Blue and One Wore Gray. Christa proves that she is every bit as smart, strong and determined as Daniel and Jesse. She shows a great strength in moving to the west and holds her head high with her courage and will to survive no matter the odds. Of course Jeremy shows a great deal of strength himself in dealing with Christa's headstrong attitude. Excellent book and of course great historical references as always.
Rating: Summary: Worth reading Review: Very good book.Although I didn't read the first two I did like this one.Especially the hero,he was so passionate! He took my breath away. And the heroine was so strong willed,I kept reading and reading until my eyes begged me to stop. Great book.
Rating: Summary: Passionate Enemys Review: When I picked up And One Road West, I didn't think I'd like it that much. The plot sounded predictable and the characters sounded like all the other characters I've read about. Boy was I wrong! There were several twists in the plot and the characters were definitely one of a kind. Christa was full of fury and passion. I've read about heroines like that before, but Christa stayed that way all through the book. While reading the book I thought she'd never fall in love with her "Yankee" husband. Jeremy was full of fury and frustration where Christa was concerned. I liked the way the author showed how he was around others and they way he was with Christa. He was like a whole other person. I thought Jeremy was never going to let Christa into his heart. These two seem an ill matched pair, but in the end you'll think differently. I loved the setting to this book. I love reading about the west. The setting matches their journey to one another, wild and untamable, but worth it in the end. Just like the west these two never lose their tough exterior, but they find a beauty in one another that they can't deny. You'll hold your breath all through this book, but the end will bring a smile to your face. Don't pass this book up, you'll be sorry if you do.
Rating: Summary: Loved it before I read it! Review: You first meet Christa Cameron in "One Wore Blue" and "And One Wore Gray". "One Wore Blue" and "And One Wore Gray" are a must before you even start "And One Rode West"! Souther belle Christa is none stop laughter from the beginning. I also felt Christa's tears and fears when her choice to ride west is made for her! Southern pride through and through!
