Review: I own most of Brenda Joyce's books. This is THE BEST romance novel, I've ever read. There are no 'simpering misses', or 'indecisive heroes' here. This book has all the pageantry and intrigue of the what you would expect Queen Elizabeth's Court to be. She longs for 'our' pirate, Liam O'Neill, but he has set out to win Lady Katherine Fitzgerald by any means necessary. The Queen's temper & jealousy are the stuff legends are made of. Liam O'Neill is the stuff, dreams are made of! ENJOY!!!

Summary: Fantastic plot wrapped round a romance.
Review: I read this quite a while ago so you'll have to look elsewhere for plot details. I do remember thoroughly enjoying it because the plot was original, twisting & turning all round a wonderful romance. Unlike so many others, you just couldn't tell what was going to happen next. I'm sorry to say I haven't found any of her other books to be even half as good as this.

Review: If only men like these existed in our world, and if they do, if only they came in droves. Liam is determined and succeeds in getting what he had set out to achieve...Katherine. But, our stubborn lady refuses to give in without a fight, and what a fight it was. This book is a real page turner. If you don't have it, I strongly recommend that you rush out to get a copy of your own.

Summary: This is my all-time favorite romance novel
Review: Oh to be Katherine... being pursued so determinedly by the likes of Liam O'Neil. Katherine is so strong in her convictions - she just doesn't give in (which makes for great sexual tension throughout the book). Also, the history is so rich! I loved seeing Queen Elizabeth lust for Liam...what a great twist. I have read and re-read this one. I highly recommend it.

Review: The Game by Brenda Joyce was by far one of her best books. If you enjoyed the other ones they are far from comparable. The only ones that I would say compare are Promise of the Rose and the Conquerer. But I would still say The Game is amazing and I recommend it to all woman out there who love romance novels and aren't sure which ones to buy by who...this is the one!

Summary: One of Brenda's Best !
Review: The Game is one of the first Brenda Joyce books that I picked up and read several years ago. I have read numerous romance novels by numerous authors and let it be said that 'The Game' is by far one of the best she has written and still one of my favorites. As always, Brenda does not disappoint with the bedroom scenes...they sizzle as usual! But I think what really drew me to this story was the depth of research Joyce brings to the storyline with real-life historial individuals and the political intrigue and strategies that were indeed true to life and history during the Elizabethan period of England. The Hero makes your heart palpitate and the Heroine charms as well. I strongly recommend this one!

Review: The Game was the second Brenda Joyce book I read. I love this author. She has the ability to make the reader just as hot as the characters. There was a great story to go with the eroticism, too. Katherine and Liam are a great couple. You will fall in love with Liam's masculinity and Katherine's determination. This is one of Brenda Joyce's best!
