Rating: Summary: Another classic by Carl Weber Review: Anything by this author is beyond great. Exciting fast paced drama filled novel. Carl Weber is by far the best African American author out right now. Sorry Mr. Dickey you have been dethroned as a new king is crowned! I cant wait for "Player Haters," only two more months guys!
Rating: Summary: Carl Weber does it again Review: Carl Weber does it again with Baby Momma Drama. From the very beginning, you will be hooked. The characters are so much like people you know, love and despise in your own life. Between Jasmine & Stephanie and their drama, you can't decide whose worse and every character has SOME drama going on. And just when you think it can't get any crazier, BAM! It does! You just can't stop reading this one until the very end. We all enjoyed this one and can't wait for Player Haters.
Rating: Summary: Baby Momma Drama Review: You'll crack up laughing, shake your head in disbelief and talk out loud to the characters in this modern day tale. Perfect for a bookclub discussion with questions listed in the book.
Rating: Summary: Off The Hook Review: This book was off the hook. It is a must read book. If anyone is going through that baby momma drama needs to read the book.I can't even explain how much this book was good. My husband do not read and he read this book. I suggest everyone read this book.
Rating: Summary: PROUD OF CARL Review: I happen to know Carl who happens to own a bookstore in Queens, NY in the Gertz Mall. I remember him talking me into reading the first two transcripts of his first two books. I would read a chapter or two everytime I came into the store. This was about 5 years ago! I am so proud to see him excel to the level he has today. I love all of Carl's books and give him a standing ovation and look forward to the next lot of books to come.
Rating: Summary: A provocative novel at its best! Review: I thorougly enjoyed reading this novel. I am a huge fan of Carl Weber, and this book demonstrated how he has honed his skill to the next level. Weber's ability to get into the character's head and provide his/her viewpoint left me wanting more. The Johnson sisters made a lot of mistakes, even though they knew better, but their sister bond helped them to bounce back. Big Momma held a strong, opinionated presence, keeping even the thugs and drug dealers in check! Weber has certainly outdone himself with this page-turner. I look forward to the newest release. Job well done!
Rating: Summary: Easy to put yourself in one of the character's shoes... Review: Besides the fact that it takes a lot of courage and strength to do anything after losing one's mother, to write an "easy-to-read and relate to" book is a blessing. Once I opened this book, I did not put it down until I was finished. It's one of those "stories" that you walk around with because you do not want to miss what will happen next. Even though I do not have children and dating men with children has not knocked at my door, I can very easily see why I may have a problem dating a man with children. Frankly, the way many women use the children as pawns or rag dolls irritates me to the point that I would rather not deal with it. Get over it. The relationship is over and you both need to rediscover yourselves and be happy. As long as the woman is not mistreating the children, I can not understand what all of the chaos is for! Though I could relate to some of the incidents, each page made me more grateful that I was not really IN the book and I could "fuss" at the characters. In short, I hope that if I ever date a man with children...he either has custody or their mother is mature enough to handle the fact that life does go on. Indeed, baby momma drama is cause for a stroke! All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Carl Weber's latest work, I hope that the story continues for Dylan and Jasmine and I anticipate another work of art with the release of "Player Haters."
