Rating: Summary: BLACKBOSTONONLINE REVIEWS Review: Sisters Jasmine and Stephanie seem like polar opposites. They dress, talk, and act differently and naturally cannot get along. The only time they ever communicate is when they're trying to insult and/or undermine each other. The above scenario is not all that hard to believe and definitely does not exclusively apply to African American families; nevertheless, in many cases siblings are often more alike than they would care to admit. In Jasmine and Stephanie's situation they share a common weakness, a critical flaw in their selection process when it comes to the type of man they end up with. These sisters find themselves in predicaments because they continue to stay in relationships with men that have negative lifestyle choices or bad past associations. The baggage these men bring to the table make it impossible to have anything resembling a healthy relationship. Ironically, it is this commonality between the sisters and its resulting drama that brings them closer together. These shared experiences allow them to see just how strong they both can be for each other. Best selling author Carl Weber has created another wildly hilarious, vividly dramatic, and entertaining novel about two separate lives turned upside down by fundamental problems as a result of BABY MOMMA DRAMA. Jasmine prides herself on being the more responsible and hard working of the two sisters. Being very careful to choose the right man to share her life with, she assumes she's on the right the track when she meets Derrick, the sexy, well-dressed attorney who seems to say and do all the right things. Derrick's masquerade doesn't last long however, because Jasmine's wise old Grandmother cleverly exposes him for a common drug dealer. When Derrick is subsequently busted, she finds herself stuck in love, waiting for a prison inmate boyfriend who is still mixed up with his ghetto fabulous baby's momma. If all this drama isn't enough, let me introduce you to Jasmine's friend Dylan. Dylan is a kind, gentle, supportive, and equally attractive man who clearly has strong feelings for Jasmine. Jasmine tries to remain strong in her resolve to be faithful to Derrick while he is locked up but pressures from her family, her conscience, and Dylan are forcing her to make a decision. The "monkey wrench" question remains, is the sensitive Dylan also bogged down with Baby Momma Drama? Stephanie, Jasmine's younger sister, prides herself on having a good time until Mr. Right stumbles into her life in the form of Travis. Although Stephanie already has a baby from a High School sweetheart, Travis proves he is the real deal by treating her child as if it were his own. The strong, hard working, responsible Travis is every woman's dream. Travis realizes that Stephanie has a wild side but he tries to domesticate her through kindness, a new beautiful home, and an engagement ring. Stephanie truly loves Travis and tries hard to prepare for a quiet married life but loses control when her child's father comes into town. As a result, she finds herself tangled in an affair that corrupts her health, sanity, and everything she has built with Travis. Author Carl Weber never ceases to amaze me by continuing to produce high quality work. Weber has a strong ability show all the sides of a character while letting the reader draw his or her own conclusions. BABY MOMMA DRAMA has a little something for everyone and will prove particularly enjoyable for people who have been involved in these kinds of relationships. I recommend this book to readers of all ages and both genders. I give this book my highest rating of 5
Rating: Summary: The Drama That Keeps You Glued to the Page! Review: This book was excellent! I couldn't put it down! All the characters were interesting, and the things they had to deal with in their relationships with their families, friends, lovers, and ex-lovers made it one of the best novels I've read in a while. Mr. Weber did a very good job writing this novel. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the outcome between Stephanie and Travis. It made me a little bit sad. I won't give away what happened, though. I'll be sure to read the other books Mr. Weber has.

Rating: Summary: great book!! Review: I have just found my new favorite author! I loved this book. I could not put it down. It was just so good and the characters seemed so real. I was actually sorry when I got to the end of the book. I am going to read all his books that I missed and I will be one of the first people to buy any other books he puts out in the future.
Rating: Summary: Intriguing Review: Very entertaining book. Made me wonder how some women could be so stupid. How can you be so in love with a drug dealer that you refuse to see that he's wrecking your life? How can you hold a good man at arm's length because you don't want to "cheat" on your no-good drug dealing boyfriend (who by the way is sleeping with his baby's momma while behind bars)? How can you profess love to a man who absolutely adores you and your kids, then dog him out by giving him an STD because you slept with your daughter's no good father? Talk about drama!
Rating: Summary: The title sums it up Review: I found Baby Mama Drama entertaining, but not a superior work of fiction. When I started the book I could not believe how ghetto the characters were, but after thinking about it I realized that Weber is just keeping it real and that everything that happened in this book can and does happen in real life. To those who say Weber is a better writer than Eric Jerome Dickey, I personally think that they write for different audiences. I prefer EJD. This book is a testament to how stupid both men and women can be in romantic relationships. At times the book gave me a headache because the characters continued to make pathetic, life-altering mistakes. Is anybody really this stupid? I gave it 3 stars because I found it entertaining for it's ridiculous situations, but the level of character development and plot twists was average. This isn't a page-turner, but it's worth a paperback purchase price or loan from the library.
Rating: Summary: A Real Page Turner!! Review: This book was good. I fear that if I reveal any details that it will be too many and ruin it for the potential reader. However, this book was filled with twists and turns that had me not wanting to put it down!!
Rating: Summary: Momma's messy, daddy's crazy! Review: BABY MOMMA DRAMA is that and a whole bag of chip at retail price!Sisters Jasmine and Stephanie are sisters, but to hear them tell it, that is where the similarities end. Taking a closer look, you can see that the problems are closer in nature, just with different men. Jas has gone on a three-year drought waiting for Derrick to be released from prison on a drug-trafficing charge. Her take is that he is a good man caught up in making money to keep them living well. Being the good girlfriend, she makes her visits and supports him, even though his son's mother is also making visits and taking the money Jas leaves for Derrick, even going so far as asking Jas to take money he has to his baby mamma's house. Love is not only blind, but in Jasmine's world, it plays better piano than Stevie Wonder. Stephanie is no better, dealing with the appearance of her daughter's father, Malik, after become permanent with Travis, a good brother with good credit. This guy wants to do right by her, but the love-hate relationship with Malik makes Steph do some unladylike things. Another quick, entertaining read from a brother who seems to have a chokehold on the urban market with crazy characters in crazy situations.
