Rating: Summary: Off the Hook !!! a 3rd 5 star book Review: I have read all of Carl Weber books and I must say he has not let me down yet. This book takes you through some serious drama and laughs. You will get your money's worth when you buy this book. His books are a collector's item. Stephanie and her sister Jasime has no luck with men and when they find the right man for them here comes the drama, baby momma, and baby daddy drama. Just like his other books this will keep all of your attention and wanting more. Look out for his new book next year Playa Haters. If you read Married Men the same characters are going to be in this book next year. If you remember the guys in that book then you know this next one will be full of drama and suprises.

Rating: Summary: this is drama Review: I am going to say that this is one of the best novels I had ever read!! it was truly a page turner!! I finished the book in one day because I was so intruiged!! I couldn't believe have the drama that was going on but we all have to admit that we know someone like atleast one of these characters!! esp Jasmine!! We see them all over.. My question is why didn't any of the other women in her life ever set her straight in the first place.. I mean her girls knew what was goin on and they let her basically humiliuate herself and then one of her so-called best friends did her dirty too... Now with stephanie I think she was the most ungreatful baby mommas in this book.. she never cared about travis or the damn kids in the first place because if she did she woould had not disrespected none of them in the way she did.. dylan was cool but he did need a reality check of some sorts!! Travis was a good man but he probably thought that a way to a womans heart is buying her materialistic things.. in which it is not.. He should not had been suprised that Stephanie went back to her ex because he knew how to get to her mind and get her where he wanted her... If I were him I would of took the kids with him because it is obvious stephanie never cared about them either.. overall this was a good book. It will make you laugh and think that these characters were somebody in your neighborhood..
Rating: Summary: SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Good! Review:
Oh my God!
Baby Momma Drama was such a good book. I couldn't put the book down, it's such a page turner. It took me two days to finish the entire book. Once I finished reading it I told everybody that I knew to read it.I passed the book on to my sister, my aunt and my boyfriends sister and they all loved it and told their friend about it.
This book was wonderful it had me screaming, crying, laughting, and literally kicking upunder the covers as I laid in bed reading it. The book was the BOMB!
More Power to Ya
Rating: Summary: The Perfect Beach Book Review: As a white, fairly conservative librarian, one might not think a book entitled Baby Momma Drama would really captivate me. But that person would be wrong.
My husband and I fought playfully over our copy of BMD during our last vacation to Jamaica. It truly is the perfect vacation read. I'm now hooked on the genre and have begun to read Omar Tyree as well. The themes and characters in BMD are more inner city than Tyree's "Do Right Man." However, both authors are careful not to paint their characters too one-dimensionally. The book is rife with paradox, people moving on up and backsliding. Having come from a Russian literature background, I also appreciated the big cast of [main] characters and the way everything tied together in the end.
If you love movies like "Deliver Us From Eva," you will love BMD. Much like "Deliver Us From Eva", BMD delivers an excellent treatment of sisterly love (and serves up some excellent villains as well!) --- ENJOY!
Rating: Summary: did you hear that? Review: Reading this book was like have a glass up to the wall. it seems like the people and the problems were real.
Rating: Summary: All that Drama Review: This was basicallly the story of two sisters and their love lives, told from the perspectives of Jasmine (the older sister), Stephanie (the younger sister), Travis (Stephanie's fiance & newest baby's father), and Dylan (the jaded yet sweet-as-pie business owner who meets Jasmine). They are all out for the same thing: Love. But, they all get burned by the flames of lust. (Any further detail would spoil the story.)
One of the interesting things about this novel is the relationship between the two sisters. At first they are at each other's throats but later in the novel they closer and more understanding of each other. They have both made mistakes in their lives when it comes to the men they love and they learn that they must accept, support, and love each other before they can lead a successful relationship with anyone else.
The grandmother, Big Momma, serves as the glue that wholes the drama filled family together with her blount, tough love approach. She only wants the best for her girls.
I suggest that everyone read this book. Yes, it is full of drama but it is also hillarious at times and heartfelt at others. This really made me examine life and love.
Rating: Summary: Suprising hit!! Review: When I picked up this book, I had never read anything by Carl Weber. The beginning started a little slow but one I got going, I couldn't put it down. Following the 2 main characters was like listening to stories from my homegirls. I read this one in about 2 days ---work got in the way---. Definite page turner.
