Summary: Mine To Take
Review: I loved this book! I stumbled across this book by accident and decided to buy it because the cover and title appeared interesting. It took me completely by surprise. I was memsmorized by the Characters and immediately went out and bought the other two books "Rejar" and "Knight of A Trillion Stars" and wound up reading this trilogy backwards. But it was lots of fun. I do recommend that people who are interested in reading this trilogy read it in the correct order, it will make more sense and propably be a little more captivating...but order all three at once because you will want to jump to the next one quickly! I've read mine over and over again....love them every time! I'm looking forward to Dara Joy's next book with great anticipation.

Summary: Worth reading more than once
Review: This was my first Dara Joy book, and I am hooked! I read it through twice right away. It is hilarious, yet contains some very serioius spots, also. I love the play between the different species of people/races. Very true to the nature of people. I loved it, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance or science fiction.

Summary: Best one yet!
Review: Mine to Take continues the story that was introduced with Knight of A Trillion Starts and Rejar. Of all the books in the Matrix series this one is Dara's best! The plot, dialogue and sexual chemistry in this book were great. Both the hero and heroine were well suited for each other. The heroine, Jenise, was portraited as a stronger female character than seen in the first two novels. Dara is getter better in her writing and it is evident when you read the Matrix of Destiny series. I love these books and recommend them highly! I am eagerly waiting for more, especially Traed's story.

Summary: Not bad, but not one of her better ones
Review: I lvoe Dara Joy, but for some reason this one didn't grab me--too much time spent with other characters especially in the beginning. Still, it's worth the time and money.

Summary: Mine to take
Review: Hi, my name is Nikki. I came across this book "Mine to Take" by accident when I was in a bookstore in Melbourne, Australia I loved it and after I finished, I went on the internet and ordered the other 2 books (Rejar, Knight of a Trillion Stars), one thing I'm wanting to know is what happened to the young familiar "Dariq " who was taken and then beaten and save by the old woman. What happens? Is there going to be a book on Traed ? I'm sure the other fans are wanting to know also. Dara, keep writing I love your work.

Summary: Dara's books have great potential!
Review: Hi, I would have given this book five stars, but I had to take away at least two because she allows the heroines in this series to become complacent in their situations. The "heroes" manipulate, kidnap, and disimpower all of the heroines, they are then placed in situations where the only way they can benefit society is to become good breeders because, once imprisoned, they are in a situation where they have no skills and can't even read the language.

This tendency of this author is the only thing that irritates me about her books. Maybe that's because I don't suffer from bondage/Stockholm syndrome fantasies.

I enjoy science fiction and would enjoy Futuristic Romances more if the authors didn't give into the temptation to transfer the me-babarian/ you-sex-slave historical romance plots into futuristic settings. After all, who would want to give up ALL of their freedom and virtually all of their self-worth for good sex?

Summary: Mine to Take
Review: The storyline continues and develops that of Rejar and Knight of a Trillion Stars. I read it in one day, it was a riveting page turner. The characters of Jenise and Gian Ren are believable and interesting. Jenise is nnot the usual run of the mill heroine, she stands up for herself when the time comes for it.

I look forward to reading the rest of the "Matrix of Destiny" stories. A must read

Summary: If you know the guy on the cover, pleeez introduce me!
Review: This is the third book in the futuristic Matrix series (the follow-up to Knight of a Trillion Stars and Rejar) and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for Traed's story.

The book's hero, Gian, escapes from captivity with the heroine's help. He takes the heroine, Jenise, with him to his home planet and the adventure they encounter en route was well written. The different cultures, peoples, and planets they encounter while journeying from A to Z were well developed and described by Dara Joy.

The only "disappointment" I had with this book is that I felt like the hero and heroine weren't well suited. The heroine sort of faded into the woodwork against the character of Gian. Joy should have written a spunkier leading lady (like the heroine in Knight of a Trillion Stars) for Gian. Other than that, this was a great read.

Summary: Dara Joy Keeps Going ...and Going... and Going...!
Review: I understand that this is the third book of an ongoing story. I can't wait until the next one is released! Ms. Joy, once again, kept me enthalled throughout the entire novel. Gian Ren is a spectacular character - never "really" mincing words! Like Lorgin and Rejar, he definitely brings to mind wonderful musings along with the "ooohhh....I wish I were Jenise!" feeling. I am so looking forward to her next book - maybe Traed will be figured out!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolutely Terrific!
Review: This is my second book by this author and let me tell you, she has staying power. This book moves fast paced and never lets the reader get bored. The "energy" that sizzles from Jenise and Gian is positively amazing. Jenise is a strong character who wants to go her own way, but comes to understand that she loves Gian. Things get a little dicey when Gian doesn't tell her the whole truth, but in the end love conquers all. I didn't realize that this was a series at first, so I was disappointed in the ending. The whole reason these two got together was to escape from Karpon and that story never really gets resolved. I guess I am going to have to buy the next book. Now I can hardly wait to read it and get swept away once again by the magical writing of Dara Joy.

This one is a definate must read!
