Summary: COLD SHOWER... anyone?
Review: SPICY, SEXY, LUSTY fun ROMP. Cleverly written, with lots of twist & turns. Starts where Rejar left off, so there is a touch on the other 2 books of this series. There is drool on my copy, I think Dara topped herself with the character of Gian Ren. As with all her books I greedily inhaled this one, barely allowing myself to sleep. Hopefully she'll take care of Traid & Dariq in the next book.... May there be many more. enJOY!

Summary: You'll never look at cats the same way again!
Review: This story is AWESOME! The story is interesting from page 1. The characters engage you right away. There was not enough background info on Jenise's heritage. The same with Deana and Lilac. I hope Ms. Joy fixes this soon. Such gaps leave the story a bit lob-sided. Gian is incredible! Cold showers become a bit of a habit with this book. Get the entire series!

Summary: I'm Hooked!
Review: Dara has absolutely hooked me with this series. I've read "Knight Of A Trillion Stars","Rejar" and now "Mine To Take". I'm waitin in suspense for the next book in the series. Will it be about Traed or Deriq? Hurry Dara I don't know how much longer I can wait!

Summary: Funny, romantic, sci-fi, adventure, they have them all!
Review: The matrix trillogy is WONDERFUL! I've been looking for a book like this for a LONG time. One that has the right amount of romance, humor, sci-fi/fantasy, and adventure. Dara Joy pulls it off with great artistic talent and you really get into the books and can't put them down as you laugh out loud and enjoy you sit back and enjoy the romantic antics during the adventure. I give not just this one book but the entire SERIES 5+ stars!

Summary: GSOH Essential
Review: This book is a much-better-than-average romance novel. Its plot gives one a dubious insight into the mind of the kind of women who say "I don't need a lover, my cat is my best friend #and# my lover" and really mean it. That said, it's good in a cheesy sort of way, and extremly vivid. The sex scenes, especially, are written with a nice eye to detail and astonishing, don't get repetitive despite their number. (whoo hoo!) The number of italicised alien words sometimes gets irritating, but thankfully there is no must-read glossary at the back. The two main characters are well drawn, and the heroine (for once) is fairly upstanding. She is still decieved by her male, but takes it out of him verbally in a satisfactory sort of way. And, surprisingly for a novel of this type, you actually begin to worry somewhat about the two main characters - ie their charm extends beyond the bedroom. Ms Joy hasn't written Pride & Prejudice, but hey - that's already been done. Anyway, if you wanted that kind of intellectual engagement you probably wouldn't be reading a book with this kind of cover. Hopefully the other books in this series will live up to this one. Conclusion: Definite cheese, but of a superior variety - Emmenthaler rather than processed orange. PS No one ever listens to me, but with some Hercules-style special effects this would make a terrific late-night B movie on Channel 5. PPS If anyone #is# listening - don't cut all the sex scenes!

Review: I thought that this book was for the sex craz'd. Having sex with a guy in the second chapter is a bit fast for any romance... However, I thought that this book is a must have because it tells what happens to Lorgan, Adeean, and Rejar, which is a MAJOR plus! I this book is where you either like it or don't... I thought the book was not the best but missed my old characters so...

Summary: INCREDIBLE
Review: I love all the Matrix of Destiny books, but this is my favorite! Gian is perfect! SEXY, strong, intelligent, witty....and a Familiar! We learn so much more about their race in this book and it's all interesting and unique. Jenise is a much better match for Gian than the previous match of Lilac and Rejar in "Rejar". Dara Joys books just keep getting better and better. I hope to see Traed's story SOON, and I would also like to know what becomes of Dariq. The books in this series can stand alone, but do yourself a favor and read them in order. We learn more about the origins of the different races and characters in each book. Its great to be reconnected to all these characters and visit them again. These books are wonderful and captivating, especially "Mine to Take". You won't be disappointed! KCS

Review: For all of you who have read, Knight of a Trillon Stars and Rejar, this book will NOT disappoint. In fact, I think it is my favorite of the trilogy. You find out all the delicious secrets behind the Familiar and Gian is just to sigh for. Rejar, Lorin, Deanna and all the favs are here. Can you say Dara Joy is going to continue her Matrix series! Yea! Buy this book! It's sexy! It's intense! And you'll find it hard to put down. Oh, and yes. 900 Strokes of Love...gotta read it to believe it!

Review: Oh my. I strongly recommend this book. Actually, I recommend all of Dara Joy's books. You'll enjoy them if read in sequence. Knight of a Trillion Stars, Rejar and then Mine to Take. Oh my. I look forward to Traed's story. Get going Ms. Joy; I want that book yesterday!
