Summary: I don't know
Review: I was a actually enjoying the book until I came to one sex scene that was like a horrible assault. I'm very open minded to all forms of sexuality, but this seemed to much like a rape. I found it disturbing in the midst of rather silly, whimsical romance.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very Enjoyable Book
Review: The book is very good, and the hmm adult scenes are excellent. The plot line is a tab weak, and can not compare with the other two of this series (Knight of a Trillion Stars and Rejar), but it is still a good read. I recommend it as a book to anyone.
I am dying to see the next installment in this series. There is this character Tread that appears in all three book, who totally appeals to my senses =).

Summary: An enjoyable read...
Review: While I enjoyed reading the first two in the series more, I still liked this one more than most books I have found myself reading lately. Dara Joy is a tremendous author and should only get better.

Summary: Great paranormal romance
Review: When Gian Ren finds himself captured by barbarians, and drugged with something he's never experienced before, he knows he and his people, the Familiar, are in danger. The drug effects his senses in a way he doesn't want to remember, and he knows that, somehow, he has to escape.

His salvation comes to him in the form of Jenise, a fellow prisoner on this desolate planet. When she finds that she will soon rule this barren planet, and that a jealous man wants her virginity stolen so he may rule, she devises a plan to help the Familiar escape, with her, if he takes her virginity himself.

Little does Jenise know that Gian has devised a secret plan of his own, in which he does take her virginity, but also marries her in the way of the Familiar. Not knowing of the marriage vows that will seal them together forever, Jenise makes a pact with Gian - they will aid each other off this planet and go their seperate ways. Gian knows he will never let this beautiful woman go, but he agrees with her to appease her.

The journey the two them take is loaded with perils and joys. When they finally get to M'yan, home planet of the Familiar, Jenise finds out that the two of them are married, and also, that Gian Ren is the king of all Familiar! And that she is his queen!

I loved this story. It was a fun and light read, woven with characters from the past two books (See REJAR and KNIGHT OF A TRILLION STARS), and what's been going on in their lives. You also find out more about Rejar's quest to become an Alliance member, which is hilarious (but I'd recommend reading the first two books to understand the language and characteristics of the characters).

This was a wonderful edition to Ms. Joy's awesome series that I hope she'll be adding to. We still need Dariq's and Traed's stories, Ms. Joy!

Summary: Fun, Funny & Sexy
Review: This was my first Dara Joy book, after getting past the outrageous cover, I loved the book, an alpha male who knows what he wants and how to get it. Also a woman who doesn't need a man to tell her how to live her life and yet they do fall in love and wonder of wonders live happily ever after. Not before lots of adventure "on the road", sexy scenes done in good taste, no purple prose and definetely laughs as well, who could ask for more. I have since bought another 6 Dara Joy books!

Review: I finished mine to take after a fun benge of romance. these kinds of books usually take me about a half a day to finish, however this took me about a week to finish. i grabbed it after reading Ritual Of Proof by dara also. The main female character Jenis was very weak. she had no ideas of her own and when she did want to push an idea the other main character Gian confused her an muted her with sex. The girl was weak and to me Dara made gian look like a GOD. he was tooo perfect. he lied to jenise about basicly what the whole story was against for her and she was like "oh well" everytime she wanted to make him listen to what she wanted or atleast what she thought would be best he blinded her leading her along with her naivete. And though gian was suppose to be adominant i was aghast at one of the scenes that cleary looked like rape. isan't no still no? By the end of the book despite my anger with Gian i was relieved she had a "keeper". she was a complete imbicile in the ways of the world i mean common since wasn't something jenise was born with. I did enjoy gian but i believe his arrogance would have been better matched with a stronger willed woman. Thats why we read this stuff right? to enjoy the mating rituals? Speaking of rituals if u want to see dara joy at her best i reccomend The Ritual Of Proof.

Summary: Make Sure You Read These Books In Order...
Review: I saw such enticing reviews on this book and the premise sounded so good that I ordered it (as well as "Knight of a Trillion Stars"). This book came in first and I read it first. It is a great book, but if you haven't read "Knight of a Trillion Stars" first then "Rejar" you'll really feel like you've missed something -- and you will have. I would have given this 4 1/2 stars if I could have. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because "Knight of a Trillion Stars" was just so GOOD. And none of the other books have the laugh out loud humor that "Knight" has.

Summary: I agree...HOT! HOT! HOT!!!
Review: Okay, when I first read what this book was about (galaxies, aliens, etc.) this book sat on my bookshelf. Then I started reading the reviews, and this is the 3rd book in a series, it sat some more. Then I ran out of books . . . Well, I picked it up and didn't put it down. WOW!!! This book is HOT! Needless to say, I am on my way to the store to buy the other books (I can't wait for Amazon.com --sorry.)
[PS you don't need to read the other books to get it but believe me you will want to.]

Summary: Embarassing cover...Great book. :)
Review: OK....you've just gotta love Dara Joy..even if her writing style isnt exactly your taste, there is no denying that her stories are wildly entertaining. "Mine to Take" is the 3rd in the series that began with "Knight of a Trillion Stars" and "Rejar". This was my least favorite of the 3..thats not to say it wasnt a great book, but come on..it's hard to beat "Rejar"!!! I will tell you now that there are some seriously sexy lovescenes in this book..wooohooo..open your windows ladies..you'll need that blast of cold air to keep your head clear...whew!! "Mine to Take" is a book that I would recommend..and if youre into this series..it's a DEFINITE MUST READ...I am waiting with bated breath for Traed's story...I just KNOW his will be soooooo good!!!
