Rating: Summary: Wonderfuly written - a fantastic read! Review: 'Mine to Take' is the first Dara Joy book for me. What can I say?? I INSTANTLY fell in love with the sexy familiar! The surrounds of the story were immediately captivating and the entire ride was worth the read! I'm a Dara Joy fan for sure! =-)
Rating: Summary: Fantastic read! Review: As a fan who has read all of Joy's books, I was pretty much thrilled to hear that the Matrix of Destiny series had expanded by one. "Mine to Take" was quick-paced, well-plotted, and written with humor and tenderness. I actually found myself reading pages twice because it was so good that I couldn't stand knowing that the end was approaching. I was convinced that the next book would be about Traed, so it was a bit of a thrill to see that Gian Ren was the newest hero. Watching him manipulate and maneuver his chosen mate into recognizing their shared bond was a treat! I also enjoyed visiting several new planets in the Matrix of Destiny universe. The only thing I disliked about this book and "Rejar" was the heavy foreshadowing that something bad was going to happen to Rejar. I only hope that in future novels the dynamic between he and his wife Lilac remains strong and that his personality isn't altered too much. Overalll, this novel was top-notch, and if this is the first Dara Joy novel you read, be prepared to scour the bookstores for her others as soon as you put the book down.
Rating: Summary: One Question: When Is the Sequel Due Out???!!! Review: Dara Joy has done it again. She has written another delightful, hard to put down hot, hot story. One caution to the new Dara Joy reader.... Read her other 2 novels Knight of a Trillion Stars and Rejar before attempting this one. There is just too much you will want to know if you don't. As a stauch romance reader, I was thrilled with the Science Fiction base of this book. I cannot wait for the continuation of this special story of the Familiar world.
Rating: Summary: Sizzling!!!! Review: I had one problem with the heroine, Jenise. She was too reluctant to be with Gian Ren. If I were her I would have jumped into his bed, or wherever, quicker than you can say nine lives. I wish more real men were like Gian Ren and his brother Rejar, kind and gentle, yet sizzling with sexual magnatism. I also read Knight of a Trillion Stars, Lorgin's story and Rejar, you can guess who's story that is and I loved them both. I hope Dara Joy will give us Traed's tale, I've been waiting forever to read about him! Maybe in the future we will read about Dariq and what truly happened to the young familiar after he had been brutaly beaten and left for dead. I just love Dara Joy's books!!
Rating: Summary: Much-anticipated addition to series delivers Review: Dara Joy skillfully mixes sizzling romance with intelligently conceived fantasy in her Matrix of Destiny series. MINE TO TAKE introduces us to Gian Ren and his feisty heroine, Jenise, in a story which explores power and sacrifice. Next to impossible to put down, I can hardly wait for the next in the series. (Please, Dara, make it Traed's story! The guy deserves some happiness!)
Rating: Summary: Great, great, great... Review: More, Dara, more!!! These books get better and better. Of course, we should hear about dear Tread in the next book, no? Gian and Jenise are wonderful characters, their story compelling. Could not put it down, the dark circles under my eyes confirm it.
Rating: Summary: Awsome, intelligent, and fun, you don't want to miss it. Review: Once again Dara Joy has done a wonderful job, I read it in a night! I can't wait for her next one!
Rating: Summary: Nothing short of amazing Review: Wow. Is that a word? *laugh* I loved this book. I bought it as a whim, ordered it here at Amazon, in fact, after reading the blurb as the featured book on "Bookbug." The characters are memorable enough that I know this is one story I will NEVER forget. In fact, as soon as I finished it, I immediately went out and purchased the first two books in the series, "Knight of a Trillion Stars," and "Rejar." I'm in the middle of "Knight" right now, in fact, I cannot believe I'm sitting here now instead of reading it, but I wanted to get my two cents' worth in while it was fresh in my mind. Ms. Joy has an incredible ability to envision these worlds she creates with such an ability that one can see exactly what she paints. How absolutely fabulous. Makes me want to sit down and start writing my own fantasies out. I have only two wishes in regards to this series: 1) That the series continue, and 2) That this is made into either a movie or a TV series. Although I think there's no way the screen could adequately portray these men that are more than men. Just their description alone is enough to make a lady perspire.... Keep up the incredible work, Ms. Joy. Rarely have gems such as these been published!
Rating: Summary: Sensual, exciting and mind captivating Review: I have read Knight of a Trillion Stars, Rejar and have just finished Mine to Take and loved all three of them. The cat is such a sensual animal and to mix that with the personality of man is quite fasinating. While I am reading I can't wait to get to the end but then when I do I wish there were more. I do hope there is a another book in the series to let me know how Gian, Jenise and their child faired through the upcoming battle with Karpon.
Rating: Summary: This was the book of my dreams! Review: Once again, Dara, you've outdone yourself! I must admit, I was quite disappointed with the character development "Tonight or Never", but I have been anxiously awaiting this book! I love the entire Matrix of Destiny Series, and the universe and characters Dara Joy has created. Gian and Jenise are sizzling hot and their story warms your soul even as the plot unfolds into a greater story involving Traed, Rejar and others. Keep writing Dara, and I'll keep re-reading until it comes out!!
