Review: This book is absolutely wonderful. Anyone who has eyes should read this book! I could not put it down. I've read all three of your books now and this one is my absolute favorite! I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I want a man like Don Paul. Though he is white, his love for this sista is unshakable. I found myself constantly looking for Don Paul on the streets of Detroit! I would take a man like him in any color! Ms. Dick, just so you know your books are more than just romance. They take you to another world and make your mind escape. Once you come back you want life to be the way you wrote it! I've never been so captivated reading a book. I can feel you jumping off of the pages. You got it goin' on sista! Keep on Keepin' On!

Review: This book takes you back to a time when inter-racial relationships were a serious taboo in Mississippi. However, the love Eve and Don Paul had for one another remained with them. I love how the author reunites them. I could see it and feel it. I loved the way Ms. Dick's characters seem so real. The language and dialect is fantastic and refreshing! Anyone reading this book will feel every emotion. I have now read all three of Ms. Dick's books and I can't wait for her to write another. You are truly a talented author. Move over Ms. McMillian, you have some serious competition in town!
