Rating: Summary: Disappointing Review: Eleven years after leaving behind Cadillac, Texas, ad exec Brady Weston returns home for healing. He'd left in disgrace, married to a girl he'd accidentally gotten pregnant and a terrible disappointment to his grandfather. Now he's ready to trade high rises and slick suits for wide-open spaces and his family boot manufacturing business. Determined to prove himself to his grandfather, he dedicates his days to hard menial work in the company. He plans to devote his nights to Eden Hallsy, the town bad girl, in an effort to heal his bruised ego. He wants to provide her with earth shattering orgasms that make her scream, erasing the sharp critical words of his ex-wife. Despite her bad girl reputation, Eden hasn't had more than a good moan, let along anything earth shattering, in a very long time. When her high school crush propositions her, Eden's ready to bring a long, dry spell to an end. Just looking at Brady ignites her imagination, but Eden knows how to remain in control. Indeed, she's notorious for being in control, along with a lot of other things. Despite her determination to keep the pleasure between the sheets and her heart to herself, however, Eden finds herself wanting more than mind-blowing orgasms. Indeed, she wants it all, and she wants it with Brady. Harlequin's new Blaze series promises steamy encounters certain to tickle the libido. Unfortunately, Kimberly Raye's THE PLEASURE PRINCIPLE falls short of that goal. While the characters are strong, believable, and likable, the plotting spends too much time building up to the "good stuff" while not delivering sufficiently on the passion that draws readers to this line. Disappointing.
Rating: Summary: The Pleasure Principle-Eden and Brady Review: favorite scene with eden- when brady tells her he loves her, she walks away. although she walks away, she's strong. i admire her for that. of course, we later know it ends happily. still, when she walks away, i admired her for that. favorite scene with brady- angry with zeke for talking about eden. favorite scene with eden and brady together- heart to heart over blueberry wine and then doing it in the back of his truck. -amanda :)

Rating: Summary: Hot! Review: I loved this book! Kimberly Raye combines great passion with very heartwarming characters. The sex was great. The story was wonderful. Overall, it was an excellent read!
Rating: Summary: [Interesting] and short but lacking character development Review: This story was a quick, [Interesting] little read but, because Kimberly Raye's Midnight Kisses was one of my all-time favorite funny reads, I guess I was expecting a little more. More humor and better character development. Maybe it was the short format? I'm not sure but I quickly tired of all of the agonizing over "reputations" and "haves" & "have nots". These two seemed way too hung up on their high school days. Or maybe I'm just a grouch (which is more than likely the case!). Still, it was easy to read and Brady was a pleasing hero what with the renting of Mickey Rourke videos to spice things up :)
