Summary: Finding A Memory
Review: When I was a little girl, my mother read portions of this book to me every night at bed time. I thought I would never find this book again. It is a beautifully written, easy to follow story that allows your imagination to wonder and your spirit to fly. Finding this book again was like finding an old friend.

Summary: We should form a fan club!
Review: What a pleasant surprise to find that so many people share the feelings I thought were unique to me. This book had a powerful influence on me as an adolescent, shaping the way I viewed married love. I have read it over 20 times (I cannot look at the stars in the sky without remembering Mike's astronomy lesson!) I took it to the hospital with me when my son was born and I knew I would have long nights (it was great reading there even there!) I did not know if I would finish it the first time, I cried so hard after chapter 25 (I won't give it away). Glad I stuck with it!

Summary: A beautiful novel that almost makes you jealous.
Review: I first read this book 2 years ago. I have since returned to it many times. This has become my favorite novel because you could picture everything and the love that Katherine Mary experienced just touched you and made you want to find another Mike, or at least make you wish you were Kathy! If you haven't already read this book, do. It will touch your heart and change you forever!

Summary: a long lost book found again
Review: I loved this book for its tenderness and qualities of the people in it. I first read it as a young girl I coaxed to geta copy of my very own. When I had a daughter in Junior high, a new edition was published. I bought it for her. she and all her friends loved it. One so much I couldn't get it back. I have been looking for years for another copy. Being new to a computer I thought I would stump you with the title"mrs. Mike" but low and behold you have it! I will be ordering two books as soon as I figure out how to do so.

Summary: Inspirational Story
Review: This book is truly wonderful and shows true love and spirit. My dad read this to my sisters and me when we were young. I can never put it down once I pick it up. Filled with triumph and adventure, it is a classic. The characters come to life and you cheer and cry with them as they journey throughout the Canadien wilderness.

Summary: My favorite book of all time!
Review: I first read this book 30 years ago, at the age of 10. Although I mentioned it to agemates throughout the years, no one else had read it. I recommended it highly, but my compatriots of the time hadn't a great deal of interest in reading.

Imagine my surprise when I mentioned to a family friend 30 years older than me that it was my favorite book of all time, and she launched into a very accurate synopsis of it! She too had read it as a young girl and had thoroughly enjoyed it. I had spent so much time thinking I was the only one who had ever read it, it almost seemed like a private gift to me, but one which I had wanted to share with someone else for so long!

I was so pleased to read the positive reviews by other readers. Now I know I am not the only person who was so very touched by this story that I have reread it at least often enough to know by heart whole passages!

Summary: Forty Years Ago, A Rare Book with An Independent Heroine
Review: I am enjoying reading that so many women of my generation (I'm40) were so affected by this wonderful book. And no wonder... it isromance, adventure, light comedy, and good social history all together. A great book, and one I'm trying to figure out how I'll get my 12 year old son to read.

Summary: Second to the Bible as the most memorable book ever written.
Review: I first read the book when I was 11 years old growing up in St. Petersburg, FL. I fell in love with it and all it's characters. I would day dream about what it would be like to live in rural Canada. At 12, I wanted to marry a Canadian Mountie with eyes you "could swim in". When I was 21 I meet a young man from Alberta Canada with blue eyes you could swim in. He wasn't a Canadian Mountie but close enough for me. We lived in Alberta for 10 years and I went to some of the areas mentioned in the book. Next month we will celebrate our 19th anniversary. I passed my tattered copy of this book on to my two teenage daughters who love it as much as I do. I am so happy to know I can get a hardbound copy of this wonderful book for all of us now. Thank you so much.

Summary: My favorite book ever!
Review: I first came across Mrs. Mike when I was babysitting my neighbors about 8 years ago. The story never gets old no matter how many times I read it. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Summary: Mrs. Mike is my most memorable and favored book.
Review: My 12 year old daughter recently asked me what my favorite book was. I IMMEDIATELY thought of "Mrs. Mike." I first read "Mrs. Mike" over 30 years ago, when I was a young girl. It was such a beautiful love story and made a great impression on me. I read the book numerous times during my teens. The recent conversation with my daughter reminded me of the story, even how I felt as I read the book. I can even picture the words on the first page! I am THRILLED to see that this book is still in print. I am ordering a copy for myself. I can't wait for my daughter to read this wonderful book.
