Summary: I found myself wishing for a rainy day!
Review: I was led from one time period to another. Enjoying the ride and the emotional twists and turns of the characters. Michael Taggert, his personality makes you want to swoon with passion and slap him for his arrogance. Samantha is the ideal of every woman hoping to be found and loved unconditionally. Finding a family to be more than the sum of our last name, but carved out of honesty and unwavering devotion. While reading this book, I found myself wishing for a rainy day; to sit infront of a fireplace, in a blanket. Then cheer when another heroine would finally get her man. I look forward to bumping into a few more of the Taggert Clan!

Summary: Sexiest Kiss in the Universe!
Review: When the 'scared of New York' Samatha Elliot gets together with the gorgeous Mike Taggert, sparks fly. Read this and tell me how you feel

Summary: Deveraux's Contemporary Magnum Opus
Review: Her best effort yet,a real hit, ,considering that this is her first contemporary piece.Great , almost unbelievably fantastic characters.Samantha and Michael have become my favourite romance couple of all time, they're sizzlingly intense but fun.Mike's larger than life, but oh-so-human,Samantha's no swooning heroine, she's feisty and talented, but vulnerable. The plot's really quite ingenious, mobsters from the Roaring Twenties, a tragic old romance and a quest for a lost grandmother.Interesting secondary characters too...something tells me Deveraux has created a whole pantheon of loveable heroes and heroines for future delectation. At last we have more on the Taggerts.I can't wait for the next one!Hat's off to Deveraux on this one, a Grand Romance

Summary: This is the BEST book!
Review: From the moment this couple meet, they show great passion. The storyline is very interesting too. She is trying to find clues about her grandfather. She stays with him, and he helps her gather information. I loved this book. It is a must-read for any romance fan

Summary: Deveraux at her best ever
Review: Simple wonderful. I've read all of her books before and after, and this has continued since it's publishing to be my all time favorite romance novel. It's not just a novel about a man and woman finding love with each other, there is a plot which twists and pulls the reader into the story. As the mystery unfold, it becomes more and more intriging. This is Deveraux at her best. My copy is in rags from the number of times I've read it

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Classic Deveraux
Review: This was a good one. The romance is very real and it's always fun when the guy has to chase after the girl really hard. Mike and Samatha were definently made for each other and you'll be convinced of that by the end of the novel. I love Jude Deveruax, Judith McNaught and Julie Garwood. If anyone can tell me about another romance author that's not trashy and is reminiscent of them e-mail me

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A sixteen year-old reviews really good smut.
Review: This is an accurate, heartbreakingly romantic contemporary/ historical novel about a woman (Samantha Elliot) whose family has died, so as her father's dying wish, she goes to New York for a year to search for her gangster's moll grandmother, "Maxie." In the process, she meets Michael Taggert (one of the Colorado Taggerts, who everyone knows are "poor" and "dirty" in comparison to their more illustrious Montgomery cousins; Anthony "Doc, The Surgeon" Barrett; Blair, Mike's doctor-cousin; Raine Montgomery, another cousin; and a host of other characters' including Kane Taggert, Mike's twin brother. (There's an old Taggert saying, " you marry the one that can tell the twins apart") Samantha and Mike go to a picnic with Mike's relatives and Samantha is "tested" by Kane, of whom she doesn't know even exists.( I won't tell whether or not she passes) Its a beautifully written, magical story that will capture your heart. A related story is The Invitation, a book also by Jude Deveraux. In it are three different romances (one of which is Kane Taggert's story.) Anyway, I've praised my bit. I really liked this story, I've read it at least four times
