Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Five stars, completely. Review: This is my all time favorite Jude Deveraux book. If you remember and keep the attitude that anything can happen, then it's easy to accept everything that happens to Sam as real, which immensly ups the value of the story. At the end, I was almost crying...Sam is the epitome of the kind of woman I want to be. At least, at the end she is. ;P
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: refreshing love story Review: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MICHAEL TAGGERT!!!! HE AND SAM MAKE A GREAT COUPLE. THIS WAS THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF LOVE AND MYSTERY.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Fairy Tale for the 90's Review: Each time I read this book, it just gets better and better. The characters and their lives will always be engrained in my mind. If you've never read romance novels before, you shouldn't start with this one because you'll end up being disappointed by the rest. Ms. Deveraux is an excellent writer.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A book that you will never forget Review: I read this book originally a couple of years ago and didn't buy it at that time. I have regretted that desicion ever since that time, every time I go into a used bookstore I look for this book. I absolutely love this back and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys romances, love, action, and has even just a little bit of imagination.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Very Best of Jude Deveraux!!! Review: I have read several of Ms. Deveraux's books but this one reamains my absolute favorite! From the first page to the last I could not get enough. I fell in love with Michael Taggert. His passion for Samantha Eliot was something to be admired.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Jude Deveraux is the best...Sweet Liar is the best ! Review: I have read every book Jude Deveraux has written. Although I like the historical romances the most this book is still my favorite. Ms. deveraux has a lot of magic when it comes to telling a story. I love the way they are all related. If you have read even one book you have heard about another couple from another book. For my own selfish reasons I hope she never stops writing!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My HUSBAND wanted me to read this one to him!! Review: When I first started reading this book, my husband asked me what the book was about. I gave him a brief run-down of the first 3 - 4 chapters. He then shocked me!! HE ASKED ME TO START OVER AND READ IT TO HIM!! That was about 4 years ago and he still remember the storyline TODAY!! I loved the way Ms. Deveraux had Mike and Samantha figure out exactly what happened to Samantha's grandmother. They discover that her grandmother was nightclub singer in the 1920's. They even discover what happened to her and a few other people that affect both Mike and Samantha's personal lives in the modern world. I really think that ANYBODY who reads this book will love it as much as my hubby and I did!!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A New York fairy tale! Review: This is a modern-day "fairy tale"--but a good read none-the-less. Samantha, having suffered a recent divorice and the deaths of all her family, moves to New York for a year to live with an old friend of her father's to search for a long-disappeared grandmother in order to fulfill the stipulations of her father's will. The "landlord" is handsome, very rich (but modest about it), understanding, charming, strong...(yep--a fairy tale prince!) Samantha suffers from depression, New York big city phobia--which Mike splendidly cures with a cost-is-no-object trip to Saks 5th Avenue (Fairy Godmother!) Samantha suffers from sexual inadequacy--which Mike also eventually "cures" (after suffering through frustrations and icy showers himself.) The Crime/Romance story line of finding the truth about Maxie (Samantha's long lost grandmother) is handled well, but "cured" a little too conviently with a dramatic re-enactment of the night of the crime (but this is a fairy tale after all.) All in all an interesting read with charming characters--as long as you keep your "once upon a time" perspective!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: excitingly wonderful Review: I first read the excerpt of Sweet Liar in one of Ms Deveraux's books( if I'm not mistaken, its The Duchess),and I completely fall in love with the plot. I bought the book the very next day and spend the WHOLE NIGHT reading the book. I just cant put it down. Its simply the best book I've ever read!!!
