Summary: The Best of Sandra Brown !
Review: I first read this book three years ago and even now whenever I need something entertaining to get rid of bad mood, I read it again. It never fails to make me laugh. Lilah is just so funny and persistent while Adam is stubborn as mule but no less endearing. Thanks Sandra.

Summary: The ONLY good book by this author...
Review: I honest to goodness don't know how most of SB's books get published. She's proof I guess that publishers settle for writers with very little talent. Readers shouldn't settle for bland, uninspiring writing when there are so many wonderful books out there! Though I'm sure she possesses it, this author uses no imagination when creating her stories - stories that have very similar plots. ADAM'S FALL, while predictable, just had the magic touch. It was enjoyable. I wish all SB's books could be so memorable.

Summary: A Disappointment
Review: I loved Sandra Brown's "Mirror Image", but was extremely disappointed with this effort. This book offered some witty bantering between the two main characters, but the romance was unsatisfying--not nearly enough build-up of believable tension between them. Some of their behavior seemed ludicrous--almost like Brown was forcing conflict. And the writing was not very discriptive. The story is set in Hawaii and yet I had no sense of scenery. A disappointment all the way around.

Summary: Excellent Romance! Hot!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have listened to my tape about 4 times, and love it every time I hear it. It is an excellent romance with a bit of humor thrown in. If you love romance, you'll love this book.

Summary: A great book.. Lots of fun!
Review: I thought "Adam's Fall" was an awesome read! It was witty, clever and well written. I, personally, was glad Sandra Brown didn't go into so much depth as she does is some of her other books and I really don't think you can compare this one to a book such as "Mirror Image". They are two completely different stories. It was nice to sit down for a couple of hours and concentrate solely on Lilah and Adam and their blossoming love. The passion was hot, the dialogue overflowing with excitement and feeling... There wasn't a dull moment. I'd recommend this book to anyone!

Summary: One of the Best Audios Ever
Review: I'll admit I had my doubts about a romance audiobook read by a man. My doubts didn't linger for long. I much prefer Ms. Brown's earlier books and the story of "Adam's Fall" lived up to all my expectations. However, the narration of "Adam's Fall" was one so superior I doubt any other will top it, in my estimation.

You can read the synopsis of the book elsewhere on this page, I only want to add that Michael Zaslow did an outstanding job of reading. His voice brought the characters to life, infusing each--men and women alike--with uniqueness and, in the case of Lilah, sufficient quirkiness to make her come alive.

The world lost a great thespian when Mr. Zaslow passed away in 1998. I highly recommend this tape if for nothing else than the sheer joy of listening to him read a highly entertaining love story.

Summary: Sandra Brown at her best
Review: I've read at least two thirds of all of Sandra Brown's books and I have yet to see one that is better than Adam's Fall, although The Switch comes pretty close.

The elements are nothing new - two people who can't be in the same room without arguing are thrown together. Adam has no choice but to bear with Lilah's presence as his physiotherapist while he tries to regain the use of his legs after a mountain-climbing accident left him paralysed from waist down. And Lilah, bound to help Adam because of a promise she made to her sister, even as she tries to hide her attraction to him.

What makes the story worth reading is the way Sandra Brown captures the continuous tensions between the two, boiling below the surface - Adam as he comes to terms with his condition, and Lilah, determined to help Adam regain his confidence and the use of his legs.

The chemistry between Adam and Lilah just leaps out of the pages, especially when they finally decided to give in and listen to what their hearts have been trying to tell them for a long time.

I only wish this book was longer. I really did not want to let go of Adam and Lilah.

Summary: Refreshing
Review: I've recently become a devoted fan of Sandra Brown, and after reading this novel, I have yet to be let down. (Just to say, I would have given this novel a higher rating, but was unable to for the lack of half-stars.)
