Summary: Another Great Novel
Review: This book is awesome. Brenda, I truly enjoyed what you did with this storyline Ashton and Netherland story was very sensual and exciting. I just couldn't stop laughing during the Bachelor Auction scene. I enjoyed hearing from all the characters in your previous books. This book just made one go back and reminisce about them. Your next book has to be about Sir Drake. I believe that's the man for me. I know Christy and Alex story is going to very exciting, exotic, steamy and very hot. I can't wait until year 2002. Keep that pen sharp as always my DIVA!!

Review: BREND JACKSON HAS DONE IT ONCE AGAIN. COLONEL ASHTON SINCLAIR AND NETHERLAND BROOMS WHO MET THREE YEARS AGO. HE HAS LONGED TO SEE HER AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SITE. NETTIE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN HAS DREAMED OF ASHTON , BUT DOES NOT WANT HIM IN HER LIFE BECAUSE HE IS IN THE MILITARY.THE COLONEL TAKES SIX WEEKS LEAVE TO VISIT FRIENDS AND TO MAKE NETTIE HIS WIFE. HE TELLS HER HE LOVES HER , ASK HER TO BE HIS WIFE AND KIDNAPPED HER.ALL TO MAKE HER HIS WIFE. NETTIE SURRENDERS TO ALL OF HIS CHARMS.THIS IS A FABULOUS STORY BECAUSE NOT ONLY DOES THE COLONEL AND NETTIE FIND LOVE. NETTIES' BROTHER ROME, AND HER BEST FRIEND RAINEY ALSO FIND THEIR TRUE LOVE. THE STORY ALSO GIVES US SPOUSE ABUSE, DRAMA, NEW LIFE, LASTING FRIENDSHIP, AND SHOWS FAMILY AND EXTENDED FAMILY COMING TOGETHER IN A TIME OF CRISIS. A GOOD ONE DAY BOOKE TO READ STARTED READING BEFORE I WENT TO WORK, READ ON MY LUNCH HOUR, AND FINISHED BEFORE I WENT TO BED. I COULD NOT WAIT TO READ WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEND.

Review: Very well written and packed with great sexual tension. I would have liked more written on the relationship of Jada and Rome because of the seriousness of Jada's situation. But this did not take anything away from the book. Very nice....

Summary: Unbelievable and Boring
Review: This book is frought with poorly substantiated and senseless fantasy elements. The fact that the hero (and I use the term loosely) can "forsee" his future conveniently allows the author to simply make the main characters fall together without any sensible reason for doing so. There is no basis for the actions of the characters and no explanation of their feelings. The plot takes one to many unrealistic turns to be believable, and the language is hackneyed. A huge disappointment.

Review: Get ready to Surrender If I could give this book a six star rating, I would have. Mrs. Jackson surpassed her usual great story telling and wrote a magnanimous story. "Surrender" was the Best of the Best. This book was a Family Reunion. All the Madaris' were present an accounted for. It felt like old home week. Brenda brought each member of the family up to date. I felt like I was hearing good news from members of my own family. Let me tell you when I picked up this book, I did not put it down until I was finished. I read well over into the night. It was worth any sleep that I lose, believe me. "Surrender" was sensational, intriguing, romantic, and just down right "HOT" (Imagine, an African-American/Cherokee, six foot male in a loincloth!!! Wow!!!!) It was the battle between the sexes. Colonel Ashton Sinclair, Of The United Stated Marines, against Netherland Blooms owner of the well known "Sisters Restaurant".
He wanted her from the very first time he saw her. She was attracted to him, but was reluctant to admit it, because she made a promise years before that she would not date or marry a military man. The magnetism between the two was most unique. I could feel their attraction pulling me from the pages of my book. I found myself laughing out loud and talking to the characters of the book. Ashton would come to "Sisters" every night and sit in the same spot and watch her work, while he had dinner. Netherland did every thing in her power to avoid him. Then came the big auction. Colonel Sinclair was the Main Attraction. Nettie, finally realizing her true feeling. She was determined she had to make the highest bid at the auction. The prize would be a weekend with the Colonel. If you have read the other sagas of the Madaris family and friends this book is a most. If you have not, my advice to you is to start looking now and buy the series, because you a missing out on the best reads of your life.

Review: This novel was so good. I have never read a romance novel as heartfelt and passionate as this one. Ashton and Netherland's stort was rich with emotion and laced with excitement,i can read this over and over again and get excited over their love all over again.Ashton was the man of any womans dream the way he fought for what he believed in was right in his heart. i'm glad they finally got together he is the right man for Netherlands. Ms.Jackson if your reading this please put out a sequel.Can't wait for Alex and Cristy's story.

Review: I could not put this book down. I read the entire book before I TRIED to go to sleep. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! That Colonel Ashton Sinclair is some kind of sexy.....loin-cloth on or off! If I had a man with half the seduction powers of Ashton.......I'd surrender a lot and often!!!
I was happy Ms Jackson's character from previous books were a part of this story...it was family. I loved the set up for Alex and Christy's story and can't wait to read the book of their romance.

Review: I have read all of Brenda Jackson's novels and again Mrs. Jackson has written another splendid novel. I loved how she brought everyone together from her previous novels to celebrate the function as Sisters. This novel will definitely keep your attention. I can't wait to read about Alex Maxwell and Christy Madaris as well as the new Madaris members of the family.
