Summary: Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! I loved this book!!!
Review: Ashton was so suave and debnoir, so persistant and patient, so romantic and loving. I would have loved to see a man like Ashton in person. Nettie's strong convictions about military men, made her have a change of heart after Ashton finally got a hold of her. She was addicted, although she didn't want him to know about it at first. I remember when she said, that she didn't know what she was going to do with him, and at that point I knew Ashton had her wrappped around his finger. Ashton was on a mission, a mission he was not going to lose...Talk about stories of love at first sight, this book was filled with it. Okay, now Sir Drake was a character, and I understand he's something else, literally...

Summary: I read it over and over again.....oh my....
Review: Ashton was fine, charismatic, a perfect gentleman, persistant, a good kisser and a good lover. I'm sorry Nettie but the man was not worth all of your resistance, military or not. Ms Jackson needs to continue Ashton and Nettie's story, I want to know what they named the triplets. Also, I would love to know how things are going with Howard and Rainey, Jada and Rome. This was a very good book.

Summary: I Surrender Too
Review: This is a super romantic romance novel with plenty of over the top handsome, virile men who know exactly what they want and how to go about getting it. The love story of Ashton Sinclair, a colonel in the Marines and Netherland Brooms, entrepreneur and owner of 'Sister's Restaurant' is filled with high sexual tension but there is also the tension of two strong personalities pitted one against the other. One declaring ownership and one declaring independence. Ashton Sinclair is Native American as well as African American and he uses his sense of the spiritual from both cultures to accomplish his goals. Not only does he love Netherland (Nettie) but he has had a vision that she will become his wife. Nettie has had no such vision she only knows that she does not want to be the wife of a military man. What follows is Ashtons pursuit of Nettie as she fights hopelessly but never helplessly against surrendering herself to Ashton until she realizes that she no longer wants to flee.There are many characters and sub plots here, but they are all neatly tied together in a story filled with romance, intrigue and mystery. The novel also gives depth and background to family and friends so that you feel comfortable and familiar if you read one of Ms. Jackson's previous novels or move on to the newest one. Her writing is a continuation of a generations saga. I was particularly taken with Rome and Jada. This is my first Brenda Jackson novel, it won't be my last. I too have fallen under the spell of the Madaris family. Vannie(~.~)

Review: Nettie and Ashton's beautiful love story written under the title of Surrender almost left me breathless. The love Ahston constantly showed Nettie was above and beyond the call of duty. Once again Brenda jackson shows us just how potent her pen can be in this wonderful book.

Review: Brenda Jackson is one of the most amazing writers I have ever read, she has a sense for dealing with the every day details. Her love scenes are so real I can just see myself as one of her characters. The models on her books are so beautiful and you can identify them within the story. I hope Ms. Jackson keeps writing with the same in depth loving down to earth style.

Summary: A FEW GOOD MEN
Review: Ms. Jackson, has done it again. I felt like I was on fire. Ms Bloom and the Colonel the passion was jumping off the pages. I would love seeing a men like the Colonel in any kind of uniform. I love the way that he saw what he wanted and went after it and didn't give up. I love the fact that a man didn't want them to come together until the woman gave her all to him (mind, heart and soul). That puts a different turn on things. I look forward to the next book in the line. Keep up the wonderful work.

Summary: Another Amazing Story of Love by Miss Jackson
Review: I have followed Miss Jackson's stories of the Madaris family from the very start! Every time she depicts another fabulous tale of this incredible family and their beloved friends, it binds them to my heart even more. I love how Miss Jackson explores new elements and creates new tales in every story that she writes and never makes them seem too similar. I also appreciate how she is able to let us in on how past characters are doing and what is going on with them in her new stories. Netherland and Aston's story is great; I have already read it twice over the weekend and I loved it! I cannot wait read the next story!

Review: Brenda Jackson has me hooked!! I can't get enough of the Madaris family and their friends. I can't wait to see what happens with Christy and Alex. Surrender was wonderful! I read it in one sitting. I could not put it down. Ashton knew what he wanted and went after her. I like books that have some tension and this book delivered. It was a page turner through and through!

Summary: A Circle of Love, Friendshp and Intrigue
Review: Ms. Jackson has done it again! First of all, hats off to Brenda Jackson for her family tree of the Madaris and extended family. I have been tracing my family and could not have done a better job. It is always good to get an update on old favorites and to see their lives progressing. Brenda Jackson's characters are like our friends. It is nice to see Syneda's father fitting into her life, to see Sterling's brother's life interconnect with Corthian's friend. You are proving the 6 Degree Seperation Theory. The family gatherings are just getting larger and you make us feel like we are there. You also threw in an interesting new generation with the older Madaris uncles grandsons. That was also a plus. Poor Netherland did not have a chance when the mysterious Ashton
Sinclair set his sights on her. But will her unwillingness to accept Ashton for who he is cost her the love of a lifetime, only by reading the book will you find out that answer. Netherland's brothers bring another group of interesting men for Brenda Jackson to explore. The book has a nice blend of mystery, romance, comedy and intrigue. It is definately not a book you want to put down.
Congratulations Miss Jackson on a job well done.

Review: Brenda Jackson truly has the ability to pull her readers into the story. I was right there on every page and in every chapter!!As usual she has outdone herself!! What a tender and touching love story!! I just love how the Colonel is strong but yet tender, compassionate and determined. Hats off to Brenda Jackson!!! She does it again!!
