Review: It was a very funny book and one that was quite amusing to see the heroine the way she is. And it was so well written that it'll capture your heart and make you cry when she makes her confession. It just totally broke my heart and I hope you will enjoy reading it too.

Review: Julien is the most wonderful hero ever to have been created in this genre. He's a warm, caring and sensitive yet masculine husband.
The friction between Julien and Kate was brilliant. It gave the book a feeling that there was more to it than just the sex.

Review: This book has replaced "The Heir" at the top of my list. Coulter has outdone herself with this book, I loved the characters instantly. I couldn't put it down. I read it in an afternoon. The books only flaw that I saw was that It wasn't part of a series, although I was literally jumping happy when Julien had a conversation with someone in her Magic series. If you've never read Coulter books start with this one, then move on to The Heir, then try the Magic series, and for a jump into modern times read Aftershocks. After this book you'll be an instant convert.

Summary: I did not like this book!
Review: This book left me depressed. I have bought many books based on the comments listed and I think this one was off target. This is only the second book I read by this author. After reading books by Amanda Quick, I don't want to wait till the end of the book for our couple to get together. This book was not as cruel as Rosemary Rogers' books, but close. I do not recommend it.

Summary: Disturbing
Review: This book really disturbed me. It started out well... Kate and Julien had great banter. Kate was a headstrong, daring young woman... Julien was quite taken with her and proposed. Then it went all downhill. He ends up forcing her to marry him by threatening that he will drug her and drag her to the alter. He then, after weeks of a sexless marriage, kidnaps her under the guise of being a robber... keeps her blindfolded. He then proceeds to molest her until she finds pleasure (while blindfolded and thinking he is some strange robber man... like any woman would manage to find pleasure in that sort of situation). He then proceeds to rape her while she is screaming and crying and trying to get away... figures out she isn't a virgin and goes into a rage. This whole experience makes her realize she was raped as a child... This is just plain awful. This isn't your normal 'rape' type scenario in typical romance novels... you know, where the woman is secretly attracted and wants to have sex, but is pushed into it... Katharine is actually brutally attacked in this book. Its quite frightening and I didn't enjoy reading it at all. I feel like the 2 main characters, which started out so promising, deteriorated halfway through the book. I don't recommend it.

Review: This is one of the best books I've read in a very long time!!! The character's are very real and well developed, and the story is so believeable. It is a true delight. Some parts are a little graphic but that only adds to the greatness of the story.
