Summary: A 3 1/2 Stars Read...
Review: This is my first book of Dara Joy and I shall read more of her works, especially of the Black Rose and the 7 Cyns. I must admit, the plot was light but have potential. The mystery-action twist was a bit too weak & even predictable but not dragging. It has its moment of curiosity and engrossment. The characters wasn't impressive yet likable. Although, the relationship development of John and Chloe was a little too easy and too soft for my liking. I wanted a heart retching rift or even a little misunderstanding to make their story more hearty. Since John was the initially portrayed as Lord of Sex, I wanted to see a third party involved or at least a mistress who would be a problem between them. Not necessarily for him to commit adultery but a challenging situation, at least. Or anything that would be a convincing proof of his savvy reputation as a Rake. Seems like the Lord of Sex reformed way too quickly to sound exciting or convincing. Yet, mind you, Chloe and John together are never dull. Oh no, their fiery love play & sex scenes are definitely hot and sizzling. Passionately written.

This book is also full of humor. The witty dialogues between the characters are a chuckle and a laugh out loud moments. I love the French love words and Latin quotes.

If you like a light, enjoyable read then this one is good enough to pass your time.

Summary: Sexy scenes!!
Review: This is the first book I read by Dara Joy & it turned out ok. I'm used to the Sci-fiction 5-7 book 700 page series & wanted a light romantic book to read for a change. This was just so. The story..... well.. there wasn't a story really!! A little romance, a background story about the french revolution & the "Black Rose" -a mysterious hero who saved the french aristocrts from the revolutionaries- there were LOTS of steamy sex scenes & some funny scenes as well.. I liked the twist at the end ...... But that's all! Then again I got what I was looking for ;-)

I recomend it if you want to read a light book to fuel your imagination & put you in a good mood. I will be re-reading some of the chapters & I'll certainly be looking for Dara Joy's other books!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Light-hearted with no real substance
Review: This is the first Dara Joy book I've read but I hope her other books are better. There are some funny/cute moments but the characters, especially the heroine and hero, could've been much more developed. Chloe is refreshingly free of annoying traits that some heroines of romances display but John is too one-dimensional. The relationship between them is also seriously lacking in tension. I would've given the book a higher rating if the whole Scarlet Pimpernel subplot had been left out; it added nothing to the story and took up space which could've been used to develop the main characters' story.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Dara Joy again adds to her following with this historical.
Review: To those who have read her books, this book was eagerly awaited. To those who have not read, this book, you are in for a treat; a new author to explore. This is her fourth book and each book has been in a different form of romance with this one a historical. Ms. Joy does well in this historical format by giving titles to each chapter to further enhance the historical novel feel. The best part is that she has continued in her tradition of not only giving us a great story with two wonderful characters; she continues to give us a host of secondary characters that have readers pounding down the bookstores for their stories. In Tonight or Never, watch out for the Black Rose and the Seven Deadly Cyns. These 8 (yes I mean eight) sexy gentlemen will run away with your heart while the hero and heroine will keep you entranced in the story.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Enjoyable Exciting Read
Review: Unlike some other reviews, I have to say that I enjoyed the many unique characters found in this wonderful novel, and would like to hear more. I would like to read the daring Sir Percy's love story. Chloe and John are made for each other and are delightful characters.
