Rating: Summary: great novel!. Review: I thought it was great. I enjoy everything about the book. I even would like another book to come from this one.One about the Black Rose, Lord Sexton's freind , Percy. I think it would be great reading about the Black rose.It could be like a myster/romance. Please write the Black Rose!
Rating: Summary: disappointing, but still good Review: I was disappointed in this book, partly because I was expecting the next installment of the "Knight" and "Rejar" series (Traed's story), but also in the lack of depth in the characters. The plot seemed awfully easy to predict. Still, Dara Joy can't write a bad book. There's still lots of steamy sex and great humor-also a possible sequel.
Rating: Summary: Not one of her best Review: If you like the hot love scenes that she is famous for then you will like this. I was disappointed in the story itself. There was a more interested story with a minor character named Percy then I felt with the main characters.
Rating: Summary: Tonight is the night! Review: John Sexton is a rake, a man who knows how to please the ladies of the ton and never lose control. He is with one such lady when a message from his uncle interrupts him at a very important moment(lol) with a single line "Chole has returned" he leaves the lady and heads towards Chole.Chole has been Johns confidant, friend, his self appointed ward since she arrived to live with her aunt when she was only six. Chole knows Johns reputation as Lord of Sex and is determined that he will be hers. She went away to the states to grow up a bit and now at 19 is ready to claim her rake. It's obvious John cares for her but she wants him to see her as a woman... his woman. To do this Chole deceives John into thinking that she wants to marry him only for the pleasures he can teach her. She tells him she wants a marriage free to explore her sexual side and that after he teaches her all he knows they will be able to each go there own way. There marriage one in name only. Plus he will get her land. After a lot of soul searching John realizes that he wants Chole badly. Something he's never felt before. Each chapter name is sure to make you grin. Add to this book a bit of adventure (a must in any Dara book), steamy scenes so hot you'll need a fan, plus the added bonus of humor this book is a must own!
Rating: Summary: A really fun read! Review: Just finished reading 'Tonight or Never' by Dara Joy. It was a fun, light-hearted read (along with some really steamy scenes too). There were a number of times that I couldn't stop chuckling for a few minutes. The plot wasn't much, but it was cute. Even the chapter titles were cute. It was mainly steamy romance but involved the French Revolution & 'The Black Rose' - a mysterious hero who saved a number of aristocrats from death at that time... Sometimes I get tired off plots that come off dark or where the main characters spend most of the book hating each other. If you want real involved plots this is not your book. If you want light reading & fun, then this is it.

Rating: Summary: I laughed and smiled so much my face hurt at the end! Review: Okay so Dara Joy doesn't write like Coulter or Lindsey. But that is one of the things I love about her style! I found myself caring about John and Chloe from the start. I laughed and smiled and even felt like crying a time or two. This and all of Ms.Joy's books have found a home on my shelf of books to keep and reread. The wit that Ms.Joy puts into all of her books screams off the pages. Not only do I look forward to the rest of the Matrix books but I am keeping my fingers crossed for books about Percy and "The Seven Deadly Cyns". If you want a book that makes you remember that laughter is one of the best parts of being in love then buy this book and remember!
Rating: Summary: Apologies to Baroness Orczy! Review: The book was nice and the story ok, but for heaven's sake-if you are going to steal a character like the Scarlet Pimpernel; DO IT HONESTLY! In this book, the loveable Sir Percy is Sir Percifal Basil-Cecil; he is the Black Rose, but his crest is still a Pimpernel and they even paraphrase the poem from the movie. The romance is hot, and the characters, while 2-dimensional are enjoyable. Not as great as the other books of hers I've read and I'm also waiting for more from Aviara!
Rating: Summary: Not even close Review: The story was ok but it could have been better. Ms Joy I imploy you to explore Sexton's charactor more. Personally I would have like to hear more about his past and his relationship with Chloe. Also what had she been doing in the colonies all by her lonesome. I mean no disrespect by this Ms. Joy but you should stick to sci-fi romans with powerful and exotic men. So far my favorit books that you have writen are Rejar & Mine to Take. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING AND GET TRAED A GIRL. Maybe a femmilar hint! hint! PS tell us Krue's story! Cause we want to know!
Rating: Summary: tonight or never? NEVER Review: The woman in this is clever! The love scenes are sensuous! The guy is oblivious, as men occasionally are :) It was fun to read. It reminded me a bit of Georgette Heyer's style, but a GREAT DEAL sexier. Lot's of laughter, lot's of plot twisting, Regency style, with a steamy relationship thrown in. Luckily, without an insipid female to have to deal with in the bargain.
