Rating: Summary: Sizzling! Review: Seressia Glass makes her debut and is a big hit!Michael Benjamin is doing a favor for his friend Jeff Maxwell by picking up his sister-friend Yvonne Mitchelson. Michael didn't know that Yvonne was AA and beautiful beyond words. Yvonne Mitchelson is the owner of several lingerie boutiques. She is not ready for charm and utterly maleness of Michael. She is warned by a good friend that Michael is a modern-day cassanova and to stay away from him. Yvonne just couldn't help herself. She gets to know the real Michael. This story is good and I didn't feel it was about race. It was a good story about two people who find each other. Each person has their tragedy and triumphs. They fit so well. There are secrets shared, loves won and lost. Ms. Glass did a surperb job in making the characters main and secondary jump off the page. I didn't see Michael Benjamin as a white man, but a man. Great Job Ms. Glass!
Rating: Summary: Simply the Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: SIMPLY THE BEST. I have read practically every single interracial romance novels there are on the market with BW/WM combos and this is by far the best. The story between Yvonne and Michael was well developed and characters were flawless. The secondary characters also gave the book depth and an even greater plotline. I was very happy that the author did not overplay the race card/drama in the book. I have read this book more than 10 times cover to cover and I am still in love with it. This is one for the serious readers of the romance/interracial genre.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding!!!! Review: That was the first thought that came to mind when I read the last page of this novel. It is so complex and so real. There is actually a story line, compared to most interracial novels. The story, as well as the characters are very modern and realistic. And the love scenes were amazing, a nice detour from the 'typical' love scene.Mike was great and compltely romantic. I also loved the appropriate bluntness of the characters. The fact that I would gasp aloud, and then burst into giggles is something I have never done before whilst reading a romance novel. There were few gramatical errors, but those were easily overshadowed. There was so much emotional depth to this novel, it is amazing. The characters(main and supporting) were fantastic. Bottom line.If you want to read a great novel pick this one up! Also recommended: (for something funny to read)-'Me Talk Pretty One Day' by David
Rating: Summary: Seressia Glass's Debut Novel Is A Smashing Success! Review: The crafting of this novel was done so well that you can almost believe it was a personal experience. Seressia Glass has captured the essence of her character's hearts and has transferred their thoughts and feelings to her readers. Two strangers meet and instantly sizzle. NO COMMITMENT REQUIRED tells their story - sensuality is hot - emotions are so strong readers will need a box of kleenex handy - submerged pain and grief come to the surface to be dealt with - and a love so strong it conquers insurmountable odds brings about a satisfying conclusion. Ms. Glass pushes buttons in her debut to take the challenge of a controversial issue, but she does it in style as she tells a beautiful love story filled with romantic moments to fulfill a reader's fantasy. I highly recommend this read. Carol C in GA
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Love Story Review: The interracial story is well done. The characters are believable as are the plot and pace of the story. Yvonne is a black entrepeneur and Michael is a white business consultant. As they take Yvonne's company to new heights, so does their passion and their need for each other spirals explosively. Both have scars - emotional; Yvonne has physical scars, too. Even though they decide that commitment is not a requirement of their relationship, they both seek (unconsciously) the very commitment they have shunned. Through the conflict and the sometimes not-too-subtle attitudes of their friends, the romance is always there.
Rating: Summary: This book sizzles! Review: The passion between Michael Benjamin and Yvonne Mitchelson sparks as the two work together to build her empire, Your Heart's Desire, a lingerie business. Yvonne, African-American and survivor of a tragic accident, has a business sense and compassionate heart for helping people, hasn't experienced true love for herself. Michael Benjamin, handsome, affluent, and white, ended his relationship with his last girlfriend and is coping with the death of his ex-wife. The last thing he needed was to have another woman in his life until he picks up Yvonne from the airport. Not only do they work together but they also have a passionate affair which has left them shaken and confused. Can Michael and Yvonne heal from their scars and be able to love and commit to each other? Genesis Press publishes some of the best books for a multicultural and African-American audience. Despite some of the typographical errors in the books that I have read, the story lines are very interesting and the characters are strong and sensitive and economically stable. They keep the reader interested and second-guessing what is going on around the central characters.

Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT!! Review: This book was EXCELLENT!! I thought 'The Color of Love' by Sandra Kitt was the best IR story I'd ever read until I picked this one up. I could not put it down! I gladly lost alot of sleep on this one. Ms. Glass knows how to write, that's for sure. I gave this book five stars, and I rarely give anything five stars.
Rating: Summary: Excellent writing Review: This book was excellent. Yvonne and Michael had had such unhappy pasts that they deserved their happy ending together. Their relationship grew and developed in such a natural way it was flawless. I was rooting for them all the way. And unlike some books, the secondary characters did not take over but complemented and enhanced the story. Kudos to the author. I will look for more books by her.
Rating: Summary: I had to be hooked up to a heart monitor!!!! Review: This book was too hot to handle!! I thought I had found a gem in reading Sandra Kitt, but I definitely found a diamond in Seressia Glass. This book was written so well! Mrs. Glass needs to give up her day job and take on writing full-time. The storyline was great, the characters were great, the drama was great, the sex scenes were GREAT!! Everything about this book was above par. ...My recommendation to all readers is: Buy this book! You won't be disappointed.
