Rating: Summary: Michael has done it again Review: Once again Michael has made you look at male and female relationships from a different point of view. The books is comical and full of suspense, very similar to Men Cry in the Dark. Try an attend his seminar when it comes to your city it is just as comical and truthful.
Rating: Summary: Boringggggg Review: Before I read this book, I really couldn't wait to get it and start reading it. The back of the book caught my interest. HOWEVER, once i started reading, i was very disappointed. It took me a whole month to finish the book and not because i'm a slow reader. It just didn't keep my attention. The only reason i finished it was because i don't like to start a book and not finish it. I'm glad that i borrowed this book instead of buying it like i almost did so many times.
Rating: Summary: Consequences to actions Review: This is a good novel to use as a learning tool. Sometimes we need to look at other's lives and learn from their mistakes. I enjoyed the novel, but the writing style was elementary. I need to read his most recent work to see if his writing has elevated which it probably has. Also read THE PREACHER'S SON by Carl Webber and definitely read LUST OF THE FLESH by Beverly Roylat. Pageturning novels that offers enlightening messages. You won't be dissappointed.
Rating: Summary: The Maintenance Man Review: Reading this book was like watching a terribly made BET movie. There was nothing positive about this story. After hearing much hype about this new author, I was curious. Too bad my curiosity got the best of me because I did not enjoy reading it. The dialogue was okay, but the story itself was stiff. I can understand writing about immorality, but at least give the readers the outcome of such a scandalous behavior and not just entertainment. There is only one male author worth reading his work when it comes to today's modern AA novels and that author's name is R.M. Johnson. He writes with entertainment and resolution. I'll have to give a review on his novels. Check out some of his work, you'll enjoy them.
Rating: Summary: IT WAS GOOD!! Review: What interested me the most was the subtitle: It's midnight, do you know where your woman is? Once I read that, I had to read the book. I liked it. It's been a while since the reader has gotten a chance to dig into the life of a male hoe. But not just any male hoe, a classy one at that. I wasn't really feeling the way he got with Toni (i think that was her name, it's been a while since i read it), but it was a real page turner. I have liked a lot of this author's works.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Read Review: I really like this book I've first read it two years ago and I thought I pick it back up which was just a week an half ago just for the fun it. This is my second book that I have read from Michael Baisden. I always love to read the male prospective of life espically when it come to love and relationship.
Malcolm the main character is man who you grow to like and understand his choice in life but I do agree with one of the readers though, I don't think he deserve Antoinett cause she's too much of a n Angel for him. His best buddy Simon is a succesful business man who works hard but just needed to work a little bit harder on his relatioship with his girl Cynthia, whom I didn't quite like, but I which Simon would take his time at the end when it came to making things better. Teddy couldn't stand you will understand once you read it. Ariel is a sucessful black female just looking for love but just doesn't realize it when it's just around the corner.
Like I said its enjoyable to read and you'll like it.
Rating: Summary: Hooked from start to finish Review: This book took me one day to read. It is that good. I picked it up and wouldn't put it down for hours at a time. It will have you hooked from start to finish. I refuse to believe this is fiction, because there are many lessons learned from this story. It's very entertaining, and most of all, its very realistic.
Rating: Summary: 50/50 Review: I read this book years ago, so I do not remember specific details. I gave this book 3 stars b/c it was a fascinating read. Did I enjoy it? A little, but not really. This is a book that everyone was talking about at the time, so that was my main reason for indulging. It was pretty formulaic to me. No different from any other such book.
