Review: brothas need to recognize that this book is so true to life. i happen to know a little bit of the main character in various brotha i've dated. this mentality can't go on. the book was a definite page turner, i would love to see this come to the big screen. black filmmakers pick up this book!

Review: I enjoy the story however, it did seem a little far fetched. The one common theme shared by all of the characters seem to be "you reap what you sew". I especially liked that one of the main characters shares my birthdate and another shares my name. The description of all the activity going on in Atlanta from my point of view can best be described as the "land of Caligula". All in all I though that this was a good read.

Summary: MICHAEL DOES IT AGAIN
Review: I have been a loyal reader of Michael Baisden, and I absolutely loved this book. It goes on the same stream as Men Cry In the Dark, but it was different in it's own way. The characters were so real. I know people who I can match up with these characters, and that's what keeps his books real as well interesting. If you just want to free your mind from all the drama going on in your life, you definitely need to pick up THE MAINTENANCE MAN.....as well as MEN CRY IN THE DARK. You are a wonderful author, Michael. Good luck in the future, and I am looking forward to reading your books in the future. Make sure one comes out before 2001 though. Good luck to you. It is nice to have a strong black brother who is able to explain men, and woman as well, in a way that you do. Stay real!

Review: I liked this book alot but I guess I was upset I didn't think that Malcolm deserved to end up with Toni..but oh well.. I finished it in less than 6 hours so it couldn't have been too bad.

Review: I really enjoyed this book. I was skeptical at first because of some of the reviews I had read here, however I decided to go ahead and take a chance. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the ending, it was too abrupt. I would have liked to known more about what happened to the characters. Oh well, maybe a sequel!
