Rating: Summary: A touching love story, hard to put down! Review: I loved this book! The characters were well-developed and the storyline every woman's fantasy come true!
Rating: Summary: Remember When? Forget it NOW! Review: A stupid book - the worst kind of romance novel...absolutely trite. How about text like:" He was motorcyles and blue jeans and battered duffel bags with the need to blaze his own trails through life...She was BMWs and prom gowns and matched luggage, with a need to stay on smooth paved roads," I tried to finish the book, thinking maybe it was a parody or that it would take a completely bizarre twist. I couldn't force myself to get past page 81. Don't waste your time reading this like I wasted mine...there's simply nothing there.
Rating: Summary: A mesmerizing book Review: Remember when is a fantastic love story that really melted my heart. The drama begins on the very first page and does not end until the last. I have never read a book that was filled with such a lot of romance, so nicely packaged. This is the real stuff, it sends nice chills down your spine. The book is very well-written and funny as well as super-romantic. I would strongly recommend it to any one who likes a good romance, even if it's just in a book.
Rating: Summary: It was okay but................. Review: ...I kept waiting for the story line to pick up speed. I had just read Paradise before rhis book, and I totally loved it. I got this book expecting great things and got virtually squat. I wanted a romantic page turner, and got somthing else. There wasn't much chemistry between Diana and Cole, and it took way too long for them to grow up and get together. I could hardly believe it was a #1 bestseller. If you want a good book, read Whitney, My Love or Paradise. They're much better.
Rating: Summary: Hello? Review: How could someone only give this wonderful story only one star. It is extremely well written and one falls in love with the characters (Cole and the entire Foster family) almost immediately upon meeting them. Remember When is a wonderful story of love between two very intriguing and entertaining characters. My only request is that Judith write a longer story about Spencer and Corey and include (of course) Dianna and Cole.
Rating: Summary: A GOOD BOOK Review: As always Judith wrote a good book. I still like Whittney and Perfect better, but this one kept my interest all the way through. If you want to read another book that goes straight to your heart, read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher. . .It is a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties. I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful. Stolen Moments is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. It is a spellbinder. What terrific writing. Barbara does have an exceptional gift!
Rating: Summary: BEST BOOK OF ALL TIMES! Review: How could anyone be this hateful to Judith McNaught! The characters are wonderful and keep you interested. Cole is a dark and handsome man who keeps you loving him because you know what he thought of Diana from their childhood. Diana is melted by every word that comes out of Cole's mouth, and who could blame her. He is a very sexy man. This book is great, and I recommend it to every reader.
Rating: Summary: A Big Disappointment Review: I have loved Judith McNaught ever since I read Whitney, My Love. She is my favorite author because she lets you see the feelings develop and deepen between her characters. None of that was evident in this novel. As a love story, it is forced and abrupt. We have no understanding of why and how they fell in love. The only saving grace of this book are the other characters that carry the book through. It does not read like one of McNaught's works at all. I wasted money buying this one.
Rating: Summary: Introduction to Judith McNaught - very entertaining! Review: I have recently started reading Romance novels and found them to be extremely relaxing and entertaining. Although I understand some of the reader's issue with the book, I honestly couldn't put it down and find myself reading over specific sections over and over again. I enjoyed the Orchard Ball a great deal especially when Cole saved Diana from the jewelry auction. Of course, it is unreal that someone with that much money can be also young and handsome (we have to have something to dream about...) I wish there were more sections between Cole and Diana after they got married. Of all of the different authors I have read, I like the way Judith writes her conversations the best. They are always with humor and actually flows like people talking. I think I will go read this book again later.
Rating: Summary: My first Judith McNaught book Review: This is the first novel by Judith McNaught that I've ever read and I highly enjoyed it very much. In fact I still reread it whenever I can. This led me to read other Judith McNaught's book such as Paradise which I recommend greatly. I loved Cole and Diana.
