Summary: I thought the book was excellent.
Review: No surprise to me, Beverly Jenkins is an excellent author. I am only 16 years old so by reading her books, I always learn something new historically. I have read all of her books and it doesn't seem to me that she can write them fast enough! They are enjoyable and exciting, and I would recommend them to any reader!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I loved the History involved in your plots.
Review: The books are very sensual and romantic, and at the same time it is a novel about history. Beverly Jenkins is an excellent writer. I loved Indigo as well. I am working on reading the rest of her bokks and I look forward to any future books by Beverly.

Summary: Wonderful, hot, steamy, lusty. I couldn't put it down.
Review: The first romance novel I ever read was Vivid and I have been hooked on Beverly Jenkins ever since. I love the way she catches the passions of her characters and writes with detail that makes you want to go and find this man or wish you were his woman. Between Dix's way of igniting the fire in Kate to the way he loves that she is her own independant woman, it is amazing we all haven't headed out to indian territory to find our own Dix. I read her books so fast that I will be recommending to my book club that we read all of her works for the April review. I am ready for the next one.

Summary: The best book I've every read.
Review: This book was really good. I read it faster than any book I have. I really hope I can read more good books like this one.

Summary: The Best of all!!!
Review: This is my favorite book by BJ. It was hot, passionate, realistic, and funny as heck! I have read it about 3 times. Definitely a keeper!

Summary: A Wildhorse and a "little safe robber"
Review: This story was really facinating to me because it taught me some things I never knew about. For instance, Dixon Wildhorse being a lawman and Katherine Love being a journalist. I was so glad to find out that we held some of the most important jobs even back then. I know this story was fiction, but you know if Beverly Jenkins wrote it, it was very thoroughly researched. I'm sure it has some elements that are based on actual facts. I was really impressed with the way Beverly Jenkins brought this story to life. The story itself was great, but the romance between these two strong willed people was awesome. It was wonderful how Dixon took the time to court Katherine and got to know her before he made her his. I loved the way their relationship developed and they got to be friends as well as lovers. I love all of Beverly Jenkins books, but this one is one of my favorites. I've read it about 4-5 times, but then again, I've read all of Ms. Jenkins books a number of times. I can hardly wait for the next one to come out. Please hurry Beverly (smile).

Summary: Passionate, you'll fall in love with the characters
Review: This was my first romance novel and after reading this one, I'm sure it won't be my last. Katherine and Dix's meeting was pure destiny. The passion described in this book made me fall in love with Dixon Wildhorse (I wish I could find one like him now). This book is also filled with lots of history. You will learn about our people and fall in love at the same time. I'm headed to by friends house now to read more from Beverly Jenkins.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: excellent romance novel
Review: This was the first book I read by Beverly Jenkins and I thought it was absolutely excellent. The characters of Catherine Love and Marshall Dixon Wildhorse are believable. Dixon is a very honorable and forceful, and soooo romantic. I couldn't stop reading until I finished it. I also read Night Song by the same author and really enjoyed it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Superbly written novel capturing romance and history!
Review: Topaz was my first historical romance novel. For years I refused to read historical romance because of my lack of interest. Ms. Jenkins is a gifted storyteller who captures her readers with a twist of history, romance, and sentiment. I look forward to reading all of her novels.
