Summary: Very amusing and witty...quite charming indeed!
Review: One of the most romantic book ever written. Much talented wit was added to it by the author and made it an unstopable book. I loved the plot within and the heroin...Duchess, and the hero, Marcus. Hmm...he is the dark brooding type and would want to make you just want to shiver... But it was a great book and I totally recommend it!

Summary: A >>NOVEL<< among novels.
Review: The Wyndham Legacy has a spice and daring which few romantic novelists can create. The characters are sharp, yet well rounded and the plot is as intriguing as it is unpredicatable. I love the interchange of spite between Wilhemmina and the Duchess. They add so much more pizzaz to the novel. I was laughing hysterically at three o'clock in the morning and couldn't put the book down. I think my favorite part of the novel would be the Duchess's occupation. It defines her humor and independence. It makes her real. Thank-you Catherine Coulter for so many hours of enjoyment. This is a definite keeper.

Summary: blah
Review: This book was so boring that I couldnt even finish it. Just because it's a romance novel doesnt mean that it has to be so badly written. In the time it takes you to read this book you might as well have written one of your own instead because just about anyone could do as badly and you'd probably have more fun writing your own anyway.

Summary: Intrigue, sex, romance, and wealth, with humor thrown in!
Review: This book was terrific! Duchess was, at the beginning, aloof but very appealing, you felt everyone's desire to protect her. Marcus was immediately appealing, even as a young man. The treasure was just touched upon until the middle of the book, and then you were on the edge of your couch! The interwoven family connections were a bit confusing but, again, by about the middle you're really into all of it, and the family just falls into place. The "monster" that they speak of is a complete surprise, which makes it more delicious! I already have The Nightingale Legacy and cannot wait to get started!

Summary: Just okay
Review: This is just an okay romance. The first part when Marcus wanted to take care of Duchess and second half when they were at Chase Park was more engaging. As expected, Marcus was quite a jerk until Duchess was hurt, the more serious her injuries, it flashed out more feelings he had for her. As for Duchess, she was quite annoyingly frigid in her responses, not enough initiatives to say what was on her mind until being thoroughly enraged by Marcus. Still, it was had for the reader to understand when they started to feel for each other. Marcus seemed not to care much about Duchess' feelings by continuing to see his mistress, by saying all the hurtful things and using her body to satisfy his lust and then scorned her after. But it must be frustrating to deal with Duchess too; she built a wall around herself. There were some romantic moments towards the end, but it felt kind of too late in a way. Furthermore, the peppering of political characters during that time throughout the story could be confusing and distracting to the story. The ending felt like an anti-climax too, who cares about the outcome of Maggie's romance, which was barely mentioned earlier anyway. Also, I found it a bit stretched for Trevor to smuggle two unconscious human beings out of the mansion without rousing anyone.

Summary: My absolute Favourite
Review: This is my favourite romance, I guess because I can relate to the Duchess. Also because my nickname is the Duchess. Anyway, I cried because Marcus was so HORRIBLY horrid to her. I'd whip him to death. But I tend to like guys who are rude, so what can I say? The characters are lovely and the mystery was good except I was pissed that I couldn't solve it. I'm usually good at that. Yeah, well it was an awesome book!

Summary: great chimistry
Review: This is one of my favorite Catherine coulter books. Marcus and The Dutchess are great together, you never doubt their love for one another. Marcus is the devils on son, quick to anger and quick to laughter, which is a sexy combonation. The Dutchess on the other hand is very calm and level headed. Opposits attract, the chemisty is great. The plot is excellent also. READ THE BOOK!
