Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of her best! Review: I've read quite of few of Nora Roberts' books in the last few years. Every one has been better than the last! I had difficulty putting this one down. At 4 AM (when I had to work at 7) I finally finished the last page! Suspenseful, entertaining, and filled with her usual romantic style, I enjoyed it from beginning to end
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It Takes A Thief to Catch a Thief Review: I've read thousands of romance novels over the years and the best out there are the ones that make you empathize with the characters, the ones that really engage you in the story, so much so that you're not just reading a book but makes you want to shout and tell the heroine, "You go, girl!" In my humble opinion, Sweet Revenge is one of them.
It is an unconventional romance between legendary-jewel-thief-turn-Interpol-agent Philip Chamberlain and socialite-cum-legendary-jewel-thief Princess Adrienne of Jacquir. Philip is on an assignment to expose the identity of The Shadow, who has been stealing gems belonging to the rich and famous for ten years.
Adrienne steals the jewels and donate the proceeds to the poor, using them as opportunities to hone her skills for her final mission to seek vengeance for wrongs done against her mother. She is unyielding in her quest for revenge, and Philip struggles to understand her even as he finds himself in love.
*Spoilers*
My favourite part in the story was when Adrienne fell into a trap that Philip set after he stole her necklace. And an incident when he forced her to return the jewels she had stolen from the wife of a hotelier was hilarious.
All in all, this is an extremely enjoyable read. If you've read Sidney Sheldon's If Tomorrow Comes, you will enjoy Sweet Revenge as well, and vice versa.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Sweet Revenge was very captivating. Review: In the beginning when I started reading and realized that I had to go through Adriannes childhood in order to get to the present, I was almost going to stop reading, thinking it was going to be one of those books where it's a long and boring way to the point of the story. Luckily, I was mistaken. The way the story was written, the text, it just captivated you to continue reading. It made a very smooth and descriptive change to the present. Not once did I get bored. I just couldn't wait to have a break in my busy schedule to continue reading Sweet Revenge. Nora Roberts wrote it in a way that made the characters become part of you. I was very content with the ending, Adrianne needed and deserved what Phillip offered. I was so satisfied with this story from Nora Roberts, that I will look for more of her work, as this was the first book I read from her.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: the best ;) Review: it is really a great and wonderful book... i enjoyed it very much ... i was really amused about the way mrs.Roberts described the life in Jaquir and the way women are treated for to tell the truth life in the middle east really change so do not be scared from what you read we have more freedom now and from a very long time :)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I loved this book! Review: It was a very satisfying, very good read. The only other Nora Roberts book I've read was Genuine Lies that I thought was only so-so. So, I was happily surprised to find this book to be very entertaining. I do most of my reading at bedtime and I must say, I always looked forward to bedtime when I was reading this book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Great Book Review: Nora has done it again. Sweet Revenge is filled with action, suspense, exotic locations and of course, romance. Well worth your money to read this great fast-paced novel!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My favorite book by Nora Roberts! Review: Of all Nora Robert's books, I find Sweet Revenge to be the most complete in every way. Its main characters are complex, yet lovable, because of their flaws, not in spite of them. There were a lot of flashback scenes, which usually bore me to pieces, yet I was not bored in the least in Sweet Revenge. It would have been impossible to not only understand, but to empathize with Addy without knowing why she had developed such a hatred for her father. I had a little trouble accepting that Philip an unrepentant former cat burglar, had never had the slightest remorse about his crimes, but his love for his mother and for Addy made him impossible to resist. The secondary characters were also done extremely well, making it more than a one-dimensional romance. I for one was glad that the profanity was held to a minimum; I am getting tired of my favorite authors, including Ms. Roberts, littering their books with excessive profanity in the mistaken belief that it makes their heroes more macho. What it really does is give their heroes the maturity of a teenage boy writing swear words in the boys' bathroom. In Sweet Revenge, I can forgive Philip his former business because he does not use up extra pages in cursing. So if you want a super romance spiced with intrigue and excitement, I heartily recommend Sweet Revenge.
