Rating: Summary: Delightfully entertaining Review: Jill Barnett has a delightgul way of capturing humor. I loved the bantering between Gorgina and MacOaf. Cover to cover this story was a great retreat.
Rating: Summary: A quickie. Review: The author did ok with the soap opera-type back & forthing. I plan to try another JB - considering how good this book was even though each couples' story needed more development. Not just complaining that some story-line was missing but that I would have enjoyed even more on the chacters and, I don't know, progression. Otherwise, the words flowed smoothly and were very easy to read. If her other books are more substantial - they'll get more stars. 3 1/2 for this.
Rating: Summary: tender and witty romance Review: This book was absolutely hilarious, while at the same time tender and touching. I am a new reader of Ms. Barnett's, and she has found a new fan. Her ability to combine romance with such incredibly witty dialogue is fantastic! Definately a book worth reading!
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Precious Review: This is a great book. You have two love stories here, one so sweet you want to get misty over it(Calumn and Amy) and the other is Eachann and Georgianna - theirs is mostly a fight til the death - but outrageously funny, and passionate! The secondary characters add to the fun - Fergus who is blind as a bat and won't wear glasses; and Eachanns two kids, Kirsty (Heathen #1) and Grahm (Heathen #2) - To say there is a discipline problem here is to put it mildly! The two brothers, Eachann and Calum - let's just say they're a little like the odd couple, Felix and Oscar - only much handsomer! Get the picture? Now get the book and thoroughly enjoy the story!
