Summary: Cute and Fluffy
Review: Not the deepest romance ever written, but it is funny and the characters are fun. I also enjoyed the fact that her heroine was not built like a runway model and actually had a job that was a real job, not a daydream on tax-return day.

Summary: Delightful
Review: PRINCE OF CHARMING delivers what it promises. A charming prince and a fabulous fantasy. Funny, heartwarming and sexy!

Summary: Good, but not exceptional
Review: Prince of Charming was an interesting romance about Robin Goodfellow, who had been trapped in a painting for a while. (This is in other reviews) It was your typical Magical Love Romance. While I enjoy the series, I haven't been bowled over by the quality of the stories. The romance was okay, but the characters weren't ones I'd jump up and down over. I did like the twist about how they were tied together. It made the story at least a bit more fun. The story was good, but again, it was very typical. There was nothing that made it stand out very much from any other fantasy/faerie romances. I liked it, but I wouldn't buy it again. It's a good read-from-the-library book, in my opinion.

Review: This book is as charming and irresistible as its hero, Robin Goodfellow. I admit that I'm most familiar with Robin as Puck as portrayed in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." This book takes him way beyond that.
Kate, the heroine, is a real keeper too. The plot went farther afield than I expected (in fact, "beyond the fields we know") but was satisfying. I could quibble over a few minor items, but that would just be nitpicking.
Thanks to this book, Karen Fox is now one of my authors to watch.

Summary: NICE FANTASY!
Review: This is a sweet book. Not a great book, but charming all the same. Robin Goodfellow is a true delight and Kate is a great gal, but I became impatient with Titania's high jinx. That facet of the story was just a little too farfethched. On the plus side (no pun intended), it is nice to have a heroine who is not a typical fashion model.

Summary: A feel good read
Review: Well, this definately was a happy book! I read this in about one sitting, cause I just couldn't put it down. By the end it was so worth it, the book just makes you go "awww, that was nice". Now, this book was great because of the characters, the plot, the writing, and lots of other stuff. The book was definately romance too, not just sex, though there was that. Robin and Kate like each other, and after being friends for a while, discover they love each other's personalities, as well as the physical parts. I loved how Robin treated Kate as an equal... and Kate was just awesome. I loved how after the initial sex Kate teases and initiates the next round, and Robin was like, that was so sweet, I've never had a woman do that for me. That was the basis of the relationship. They were so good together. Basically this was a feel good book. Robin kept trying to get Kate to trust him and trust herself and know that she was beautiful the way she was. And he loved her for being her.

Summary: Oooh la la! I loved this book!
Review: When i first bought this book I admit I didn't think I would be very impressed. I was very wrong. I loved this book. The first thing I loved was that the heroine Kate wasn't a perfect size 3. She was a real sized woman. And it was nice to finally see one of real sized women have a drop dead gorgeous man fall for her and find her incredibly sexy. Robin is a wonderful hero. He is attractive, tender, passionate, strong, brave, and caring. I would like to read more of Karen's books. I liked the secondary characters of Kate's Dad and Robins friends Nic and Anne. I will definately buy more of Karen's books.

Summary: An amusingly whimsical fantasy romance
Review: When Nana died, her attorney informed her ward Kate Carmichael and her only living relative Adam St. John that no will has been found. Without a will, by law, Nana's house loved by Kate goes to the family, Adam, who plans to toss the moocher out and sell the home.

A stunned Kate returns home to talk to the portrait that she has used as a confident for the last twelve years or since her dad allegedly died. Taking the picture off the wall, Kate mutters that everyone she loves leaves her. She then reads an inscription on the back that she never noticed before. Suddenly Robin Goodfellow leaves the portrait and appears next to Kate. He persuades her that he in deed was trapped inside the portrait for two centuries by the fairy queen Titania. However, he quickly learns that he is not completely free, as he remains bound to his rescuer Kate. Robin and Kate fall in love, but being an immortal he cannot deal with watching a beloved mortal eventually die while she too cannot cope with everyone she loves dying.

PRINCE OF CHARMING is an amusing fantasy romance that will enchant sub-genre fans. The story line is enjoyable especially the humorous scenes involving Robin's charm power and his learning about his "disability." Simply Robin charms the reader and steals the show from Kate and the support cast. Kathy Fox writes a novel that is fun to read.
