Rating: Summary: A Very Entertaining Book by Teresa Medeiros Review: Tabitha receives an amulet that helps her focus her magic. Unwittingly she errors and finds herself wisked through time to the era of gallant and not so gallant Knights. Sir Colin is returning from the Crusades and being chased by an excellent villian, when he comes upon a this strange looking woman. She is dressed in clothing from the future which make her definately out of character for the era. Fearlessly, she protects the Knight and is mistaken for his woman. He is impressed by her bravery as well. Keeping her wasn't his choice, and when magical things happen she must explains them away, as he is much against magic.
Everyone knows that a witch must be burned, and Sir Colin allows his opinion to be known to Heiress Tabitha. A bumbling witch from the future, Tabitha keeps her secret. Will he want her burned, if he discovers she's a witch?
This story develops quickly, has plenty of action, and held my attention. The villian is perfect, the friends amusing, and the main characters endearing. Some of the side characters are endearing also. I enjoyed to ending as much as all the rest, and frankly would not have minded if the story continued.
Teresa lives up to her much earned reputation of being an excellent writer. I recommend this book to all who enjoy romance with a touch of magic.
Rating: Summary: Entertaining Time Travel Review: A TOUCH OF ENCHANTMENT is the sequel to BREATH OF MAGIC which takes place some twenty or so years later. Our heroine Tabitha, is the only child of Tristan and Arian Lennox. She's inherited her mother's magical abilities - which she does her best to curb -- and her father's genius mind as well as being sole heir to an amazing fortune. Yet, she is not a happy person, hides behind towering walls wolfing down bowls of Haagen-Dazs. She is also a bit of a recluse, a computer nerd as well as socially inept with the opposite sex. Her parents have gone missing and presumed dead, and she is given an envelope detailing things about a mysterious amulet of her mother's. She recovers the amulet from where her mother had hidden it, starts to analyze it when all of a sudden it propels her back to the 13th medieval century.Once Tabitha is swept back in time she runs into our hero, Sir Colin Ravenshaw, a knight who is not having a great day that only tends to get worse once he attempts to aid the person in the funny looking clothes of the 20th century. While I was certainly happy to have the sequel to Breath of Magic, and it was very well written and entertaining, I did not find it to be as enjoyable as the prequel. It is cute, humorous and a very fast read but, after a while, I did tire of Tabitha's many references to things and language from the 20th century to be a bit annoying. Just a bit too much for my taste. But in the end, I did find myself all choked up (again) and reaching for tissues. Arghhhh, a true mark of enjoyment for me when the author moves me to tears with joy or sadness. It was wonderful catching up with characters from her previous book, and this is not to say that this does not stand-alone because it does. In fact, I find it to be one of Medeiros' great strengths in giving you a stand alone book regardless of ties to the prequels. She also gives you a number of new and endearingly sweet and loveable secondary characters that turn this into another entertaining time travel that fans of this genre will want to put on their buy list.

Rating: Summary: Medeiros' magical words make a lovely and charming romance. Review: A Touch of Enchantment was my first dalliance with Teresa Medeiros and what a dalliance it was! This romance is the stuff of legends- adventure, magic, laughter, community, shattering barriers, hot sex, pure and triumphant love. I have only high praise for an author who can make me cry and laugh and love her characters. A Touch of Enchantment sold me on Medeiros and I have read several of her other novels since reading this one, but none have been as grand and lovely and charming as this one.
Rating: Summary: Another enchanting romance novel! Review: Awh, the sequel to the ever beloved "Breath Of Magic". I read the first one and was very excited when I learned of the sequel. With it being a sequel though I had to give it four stars. The daughter of Arian and Tristan Lennox, Tabita Lennox, gets sent back in to the time of knights and chivalry and finds herself almost trampled by a black stallion, with the rider being a handsome, brooding, and wounded Colin of Ravenshaw who is also a Scottish lord. The headstrong Tabitha introduces Colin to the Big Mac and other 21st century delights, including herself. And so of course they find themselves later wanting each other and falling in love with each other. Not only are these characters fun to read about but there is also the vibrant secondary characters with the returning Tristan and Arian Lennox, Michaels Copperfield, and Sven Nordgard, but with new characters Arjon, the ladies man, Lyssandra, the perfect princess with a heart of gold, along with the charming and loyal people of Ravenshaw castle. To anyone who loved "Breath Of Magic" this is very much recommended!
Rating: Summary: Touch of Enchantment Review: DISAPPOINTING! :( After reading Breath of Magic, I was on tenterhooks waiting 2 know what happened 2 Arian & Tristan after they got lost in the Bermuda Triangle. I was totally disappointed 2 know that they were missing 4 such a trivial reason. Anyway, while I might've liked Tabitha better if I hadn't read the 1st book but after knowing Arian, her daughter didn't seem that interesting.& I missed Sven(& his un-cat-friendly ways), who didn't even make an appearance till the end & a brief 1 at that.Sir Arjon just didn't measure up. There were some funny scenes, & Colin is a great hero but he's not as memorable as Tristan. I would have loved 2 see Tristan go back in time again(without all the modern stuff he's used 2 + food loaded with all that fat & cholesterol). p/s:The ending for Roger (the bad guy) was a tad too ridiculous. To Maria from N.Y.,please don't give up on Teresa Medeiros.Read Breath of Magic & you will see why Ms. Medeiros is 1 of my FAVORITE authors.
Rating: Summary: Tereaa Medeiros's book has that magic touch. Review: Her father is the richest person in the twenty-first century. Her mother
is a witch from the heyday of Puritan Massachusetts. Her parents love each
other so deeply, Tabatha feels excluded from their private circle of
affection. Even though she is proud of being a scientist in her father's
company, she knows that she is different from most of her peers in that she
has also inherited her mother's magical powers. These traits seem to manifest
themselves at the most importune times. Her scientific acumen and her
paranormal abilities fail to prepare her for a journey through time to
thirteenth century England and Scotland.
..... She could never have dreamed that the trip through the centuries would
lead her to meet the star of her dreams, Sir Colin of Ravenscar. Colin is
Laird over a poor burned out Scottish hold. Colin cannot comprehend
Tabatha's personality that has her treating him as an equal. Still, Colin
and his people believe that Tabatha should be burned at the stakes especially
when she confesses to being a witch. He finds that he is unable to destroy
the person he has come to love. Tabatha returns his deep feelings, but
destiny seems to have other thoughts in mind than having these two as mates.
They share a mutual enemy and have to confront a fire breathing dragon.
However, the most difficult barrier of them all is that Colin is honor bound
to a prior commitment. To overcome these and other obstacles, magic may be
needed to intercede on the couple's behalf.
.... The hero and the heroine of TOUCH OF ENCHANTMENT's prequel, BREATH OF
MAGIC, make short cameo appearances in this novel. This provides readers with
the feeling that they have come home to visit dear friends. However, this
work of Teresa Medeiros can stand alone as it's loaded with whimsy, charm,
and humor that will enchant the most cynical reader with its magical spell.
Ms. Medeiros adds freshness to the Medieval, futuristic, and supernatural
romances with her warm talented story telling abilities.

Rating: Summary: Fun, Silly Sequel Set in Medieval Times Review: I couldn't get enough of TOUCH OF ENCHANTMENT. It was cute and silly, and quite fun to read. The premise of the story is, in the year 2020, reluctant white witch Tabitha gets zapped 700 years into the past by her mother's magic amulet and into the life of beleaguered Scottish knight Colin of Ravenwood. In his company, she does everything from being imprisoned in a cold, dark dungeon to facing a mythical monster in battle. Very fairytale-ish, indeed. I enjoyed Tabitha's dealings with medieval folk and her accidents with magic (as well as all her sarcasm and one-liners). I also thought that Colin, a chivalrous knight devoted to God, was an intriguing hero.
TOUCH OF ENCHANTMENT is the sequel to BREATH OF MAGIC, which is about Tabitha's parents. I enjoyed both books immensely. Each has enjoyable characters and its own unique time-travel storyline. My advice is to read them both, in order. They are great fun and have wacky senses of humor!
