Summary: Seduction in Mind
Review: ... I don't know what happend with this novel, but it was absolutely awful! The characters were shallow, weak and irritating, the plot boring and the sex scenes tedious. Are we sure that she actually wrote this one? I'm re-reading Sinful and Wicked while I await Ms. Johnson's upcoming releases. Both excellent romances with substantial characters that you actually care about. Hopefully, the new books will be worth the wait. If not, it would appear that yet another Romance author has bit the dust and been stricken from my "must read" list.

Summary: I lOVED IT.... MADE ME LAUGH..
Review: ...this is not quite like those earlier books.. however, for entertainment value I think this is excellent.. Alex and Sam continually snipe at each and the issue of who is control is constant.. I like Alex she is a strong woman and knows her own mind.. and does not let anyway tell her what to do.. Sam is typical male of his time.. and is intrigue by Alex.. since normally women chase after him and he is doing the chasing.. I liked this... there were side issues that were not dwelled on and quite frankly there was no need.... no adventure..and the sex scenes though hot.. are not some of the best I've read.. and considering that Alex is such a strong character I think she should have got the better of Sam at least once.. I have given this book 5 stars for pure entertainment value and the fact I loved the Characters and had many laughs....I read the whole book in a day..lighted hearted and funny (Not wishy washy though )Great Entertainment for me and made me feel good..

It all depends on what you seek in a romance novel. If you want non-stop sex then this is the book for you, if you find books that are about loving each other, and getting to know each other before they go seek sex, then find another book. I personally choose the first choice, so i enjoyed this book, and am now reading more of the author's books. So i hope you enjoy the book, and am like me!

Summary: Not as good as her other books!
Review: Earlier Susan Johnson books are great this novel has no substance. What has happened? Seduction in Mind doesn't measure up to anything she has ever written. It is just one boring sex story. I am actually apprehensive about buying her next novel. Susan Johnson has always been one of my favorite writers I have never read reviews before I have bought her books I will now.

Summary: A little disappointing.
Review: I'm a long-time fan of Susan Johnson, but I'm wondering what happened here. I thought the plot had a lot of potential (rakes being some of my favorite people), but too much sex seemed to take precedence over the story line. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Steamy is great, but not at the sacrifice of a good story.

Review: If you never read Susan Johnson books,pick this one up. I could not put this book down. It was a enjoyable book. I love how she put the two independent characters together. Each was afraid of love and each fear how quickly their attraction was to each other. I love how Susan Johnson, use the outside characters, ie. the love shruck artist, the interfering family members to keep the 2 characters away from each other. All the outside characters kept reminding her, the viscount will never be faithful. I love how Susan used the history at that time period and how women was view has a independent and self-knowledge women who did not need a men for guidence. If you are a fan go out and purchase this book!!

Review: If you're looking for steamy sex, this is the book for you! But in all honesty it should be categorized as erotica rather than romance. The hero is a sex addict and the heroine is little more than one of those "willing widows" who has discreet affairs on the fringes of society. Happy ever after is hard to believe with these two people. A nice cold shower should bring them to their senses... and you'll need one too if you read this book!
