Rating: Summary: Lori did it again! Review: Never Too Much is a must read for anyone who enjoys a good, steamy contemporary romance. Ben is a hottie ( no big suprise since all of Lori's guys are hot!). I've been waiting for this book since I picked up "Too Much Temptation" and got hooked on Lori Foster's books. I read it in one day, couldn't put it down. Ben & Sierra had great chemistry. He's so used to women throwing themselves at him that when Sierra comes along and says she's not interested, he takes it as a challange and tries to make her admit to the mutual attraction. Talk about a patient, unselfish man! This book is filled with wonderful characters, sizzling sexual tension, and has a great secondary romance too. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Review: Never Too Much is a steamy, sultry read that not only promises the best in erotic literature but delivers. Readers were first introduced to the highly desirable Ben Baldwin in his brother Noah's book Too Much Temptation. It is important to note that you do NOT need to read Too Much Temptation in order to fully enjoy Never Too Much, although I do highly recommend it. Lori Foster has a wonderful gift; she is able to creating sensitive caring men with just enough alpha male mixed in to really make these men absolutely fantasy worthy. But best in my opinion are the women Foster creates to tame these amazing men. Ben and Sierra are proof of the sensational chemistry Foster's character's possess. Sierra is running both mentally and physically from her past and it is up to Noah to convince her that love is a risk worth taking especially when it is with him :) His methods of changing her mind are guaranteed to raise your body temperature and leave you wanting more. If you are looking for a superior novel then look no further. If you have not read a Lori Foster then you are missing something extraordinary. So don't miss out, hunt down your copy today.
Rating: Summary: Never Too Much---WOW Review: Never too much takes us back to the world of Ben Badwin, who we met in Lori Fosters book Too Much Temptation. Ben is a hottie and has his sites on Sierra Murphy. Sierra is very independant and has some major personal issuses to deal with but Ben is more then willing to help her work through them. The characters from Too Much Temptation are back to help Ben with Sierra. Bens's mother Brook gets a lovely hunk of her own Kent. I especially enjoyed, Aggie, Bens grandmother. It was such a sweet moment in the book with Aggie and Brooke. This book is a joy from beginning to the end.
Rating: Summary: NEVER TOO MUCH is finally here! Review: Ooh la la! Ben Badwin, the sinful and sexy black sheep brother of Noah from TOO MUCH TEMPTATION now has his own story. We get to learn more on what makes him tick and most importantly... What kind of woman would Lori Foster create for Ben to fall in love with? NEVER TOO MUCH opens on a sultry night. The sky is restless and so is Ben. He needs a woman, but not just any woman. He wants one who would be interesting and challenging, and suddenly, in the dark of the night, he spots her. His new neighbor, Sierra Murphy. She intrigues Ben and she is definitely different from other women; especially since she lets him know that she is not interested in him. Ah, but the sultry night turns stormy, and she is forced to rely on him to help her out. He provides her with shelter and food that night and they embark on a relationship that is shaky. He wants her, but she is resistant to a relationship that is more than just friendship. Ben suspects that Sierra is hiding something. Something that scares her and may threaten her life. She won't tell him, but being the stubborn (and macho) man that he is, he is determined to find out what it is. He works on gaining her trust while romancing her and eventually learns what it is. With his help and that of others, her problem is resolved, and they are free to live and love for the rest of their lives. Another part of NEVER TOO MUCH was the secondary romance between Brooke, who is Ben's mother and Kent, Sierra's business partner. It was fun and blended well with the other plot. Also, we saw more of Noah, Grace and Agatha from TOO MUCH TEMPTATION. NEVER TOO MUCH is not heavy on suspense, but does have a touch of uncertainty in parts as to what was going to happen to characters. Certainly there are parts that are funny and warm...trademarks of Lori Foster stories, and of course, her personal brand of sensuality that makes readers come back for more and more of her books. As with many of her stories, grab something to cool you down with when you read this. I truly enjoyed the story and recommend this to others who enjoy a good sensual romance mixed with fun, family and a good plot that with a touch of suspense. Pick up NEVER TOO MUCH as your next book to read.
Rating: Summary: Decent Read, but not as good as "Too Much Temptation" Review: The only reason I bought "Never to Much" because it was the follow-up to "Too Much Temptation" which I really enjoyed. Well, "Never too Much" was an okay read, but not a book I would have bought if I had not read the first book. I really couldn't relate with either Ben or Sierra. I would have liked to seen more romance between them. If you read "Too Much Temptation" you might feel you need to read "Never Too Much" but if you didn't skip this book.
Rating: Summary: This book was TOO much. Review: The title definitely fits the book. The main characters couldn't get enough of each other. It is a must read if you are a Lori Foster fan as myself. It was hot, steamy, and definitely a turn on.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't Get Enough Review: This book was my first encounter with the Romance genre since I was a teenager. Typically I stick to the usual book club picks, but I had run out of books to read and I found this on my shelf. I don't know who gave this to me to read but whoever it was I want to say "Thanks!" What a change from my typical reads, this was pure fun. Other people shared comments that thought the character of Sierra was weak, I have to disagree. Here was a woman that had an incredible looking man wanting her and she turned him down so she could focus on her life. After this I picked up "Too Much Temptation" and was greatly dissapointed. I thought Grace's character was weak with low self-esteem. Constantly complaining about how fat she was and even though she loved Noah from the beginning she was going to just let him use her for sex. Not my idea of a strong female. I loved Ben's character. Having had come out of a couple hurtful (although not abusive) relationships I wish I had met someone as caring and considerate as him. My biggest complaint about this book is that after finishing it, I looked at my husband of 10 years and sighed. To know that I would never have that kind of passion and excitement again, well, it made me a little sad. So I picked up the book and read it again.
Rating: Summary: Great Sequel to 'Too Much Temptation'.... Review: Well, we met Noah Badwin and his brother Ben in the first book; 'Too Much Temptation' and went on a unique ride with the sexy brother who couldn't stop himself from falling in love with his and Ben's grandmother's secretary, now in the second installment we get to go along for another sexy read with the 'badboy'Romeo brother Ben. Ben is known for his prowess for the ladies and gets into a few scrapes here and there, not to mention his mutual fights with his grandmother. In sum, Ben is used to getting his way and no one stands in his path for what he wants...until now. In comes this fiesty woman who's dirty and a little too wholesome for his randy tastes. Walking into his diner with a chip on her shoulder, she challenges his maleness in ways he didn't imagine anyone could, just with her snide comments and sarcastic wit. Ben finds himself thinking of ways to show her his most prized skills...his sensual bedroom skills that is. But the fiercely independant Sierra has her own plans, that do NOT include some Romeo who thinks he can show her a thing or two. She's got a landscaping business to start and run. Ben is more of an irritation she doesn't have the patience or time for...or does she? The more he comes around, the more distance she puts up between them and in the end decides to make him a proposition. One night of unbridled passion to get him out of her system. Will it work? Or will it make things harder? Past memories come flashing by and Sierra must make a decision... Extremely good sequel, but my only complaint? A tiny one...Ben seems to fall too fast too hard and I was a little thrown for it. The elusive badboy bachelor suddenly falls and begins to resemble a puppy looking for scraps of affection. A little more resistance would have been good; some hesitation and whatnot to live up to his reputation. Tracy Talley~@
Rating: Summary: Another author who thinks they can write erotic romance, NOT Review: While a romance exists between Ben and Sierra, they go around and around about building up to some highly overrated moment. Pages and pages of story line that falls flat in the erotic department. Ben spends a whole lot of time chasing after Sierra like a whipped puppy and she's cold to him at every turn. While I like Ben, I don't see what he finds attractive about this woman. Save yourself some disappointment and money. Get three of the same type of romance story from any author for what this one so-called erotic romance cost. Thumbs down.
Rating: Summary: Too Much?? Not Enough!! Review: Wow, I guess I am in the minority in rating this book. I was very disappointed by this follow up to Too Much Temptation (which I enjoyed). I have read many LF books, and usually love every one of them. This one disappointed me completely. Where were the usual sexy, fun characters? Where were the sizzling hot love scenes between the two main characters? The secondary characters of Ben's mother, Brooke, and Kent were the best part of the book. I was more interested in their story (which was minor) than in Ben and Sierra's. Finally, the ex-husband revenge plot was too much for even me to believe! I would recommend every other one of Ms. Foster's books except this one, unfortunately.
