Summary: Slightly boring...
Review: ...not to mention exhausting -- L. Foster forces us into liking and commiserating with Sierra, but without much success.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but Too Much Temptation was better
Review: After meeting Ben in Too Much Temptation, I was looking forward to his story. He was so much fun! And, unfortunately, it is his fun-loving, mischievous nature that had me a bit disappointed in him. I had thought he was smarter than he appears at the start of this book. Ben's relentless pursuit of Sierra, regardless of her wants or needs, his treating her like she's some sort of game to him, made me dislike Ben for a time. Until her ex-husband shows up and Duh! he finally figures out that Sierra has real, grown-up problems and she (if not he) has been trying to act like an adult, trying to protect those she cares about from her powerful and nasty ex. But once he starts thinking with his brain instead of his you-know-what and his protective instincts kick in, Ben redeemed himself and I found myself liking him again.

But actually, the hotter (though mostly unseen) relationship is the one between Sierra's friend Kent and Ben's prim and proper mother, Brooke. Man, the heat those two generated - especially Kent's naughty mouth (the things he said to her!) you wanted to see more of them together.

And Ben finally resolves his rocky relationship with his difficult grandmother who was determined to make him accept that he is, indeed a part of her family.

Summary: Dissapointment...
Review: After reading Mrs. Foster's masterpiece "Too Much Temptation", this book was a let down, I didn't like it at all. The character of 'Ben' was portrayed in this book as annoying, obsessive and ridiculous (in the book Too Much Temptation, he was funny, sexy, a bad boy that can melt your heart with a smile), and 'Sierra'... oh brother! a so called business woman trying to get on her feet after a nasty divorce, is afraid to love because everything in her life has gone wrong (boo-hoo!), but not even days later Ben and Sierra sleep together. The sex scenes were few, awful and very quick, the character of 'Sierra' kept falling asleep! (Gee! what an erotic story) and the rest of the story was about trying to get rid of Sierra's ex-husband, a rich pretty boy that wants to make her life miserable for whatever reason, and of course she allows him to do so (what a gal!).

The only positive story about this book was the story of Kent (Sierra's best friend) and Brooke (Ben's mother), too bad the story wasn't about them, since Ben and Sierra were so pathetic together. Their part in the book was short but sweet, funny, romantic and the brief seduction was... Wow! Amazing! Mrs. Foster finally did something good with the story here.

The characters of Grace and Noah from the book Too Much Temptation made a brief appearance in the story, nothing too great, and Mrs. Harper (Ben and Noah's grandmother) well, back to her usual self, just giving Ben a hard time... more or less like adding unnecesary things to the story.

If you are hardcore Mrs. Foster fan, by all means get the book. I'm still a fan, but this book just didn't do it for me, it just didn't have the emotions like "Too Much Temptation", the TMT book was more realistic, some sad scenes, romantic scenes, funny scenes, great erotic scenes, it was a wonderful book with very few flaws. "Never Too Much" was just one of those *yeah-right!...whatever!* stories.

This book is ok to keep with Mrs. Foster's TMT book, but don't expect NTM to rock your world... I recommend all of Mrs. Foster's books but this one.

Summary: Ben Badwin is as awesome as he promised to be~
Review: Ben Badwin has it BAD. He's just met his neighbor, and Sierra Murphy screamed challenge at him with every breath she took. She was curvy, sexy and sweet'and everything he was looking for in a woman. At least, everything he was looking for to seduce in a woman. Having her open her business up just across the street from his motel and diner couldn't have been better luck. Now if she can just get her to agree it's the best thing that could happen'

Sierra Murphy had moved to Gillespie to open her landscape business, and to become a success. She's spent the last few years trying to make up for a mistake she'd made in the past, a mistake that still haunted her today, and all she wanted was to be left alone. She didn't need or want a man. Sex was overrated anyway, as far as she was concerned. But she just couldn't believe it when she saw the sexily perfect Ben Badwin, and realized that he was determined to convince her that they needed to get together. And when a storm blows out her window, and forces her to bunk over at his place, he does convince her that there may be more to this sex thing than she'd previously seen'

Sierra and Ben are just perfect for one another. Sierra is working to build herself into a competent businesswoman, but already she's a woman of determination and spirit. And Ben is still struggling to iron out his feelings over family matter that have to do with a domineering grand mother, and be a success at his motel and diner. While he's always made time for women'for he loves them all, any shape, and size, any age'he's never had a woman impact his life the way Sierra has. She makes him long for more.

Lori Foster has delivered in spades for those of us who were waiting for the second Badwin brother. Ben is an incredibly sexy, sweet and determined hero who she's breathed life into on the pages of this story. Wow, where can I find one? And Sierra is just the perfect mix of vulnerability and strength, making us both admire and like her. The sexy scenes steam up the pages, and the wonderful love story makes this an incredible read. Kudos, Lori for another top notch read!

Summary: Whew! Hot stuff; great partner book to TOO MUCH TEMPTATION
Review: Ben Badwin wants a woman. Now. Not just any woman, but one that will pose a challenge. Not that he's conceited, but Ben is uninterested in the women constantly throwing themselves at him. He wants the thrill of the chase. He gets that and more in the form of his new neighbor, Sierra Murphy.

Sierra wants nothing to do with tangled up involvements, especially with a man like Ben Badwin whose good looks should make him illegal. Instead, she's concentrating on getting her new landscaping business off the ground. Ben's sexy looks and gentlemanly ways soon have Sierra in a state of constant arousal and confusion. A recent divorce from a very controlling man has made Sierra very leery of most men. What's a woman to do?

Well, if the woman is a character in one of Lori Foster's books, you know she won't be in a state of constant arousal and confusion for too long! NEVER TOO MUCH is a bit of a switch from Lori's usual fare. Oh, not in the sexy, steamy department, but how Sierra and Ben get to that point. Who says only women are teases?? I was hooked from the first page and could have very easily finished this in one sitting - if real life had let me.

Ms. Foster has an uncanny ability to create characters that grab onto readers' hearts and don't let go until the end. Even then, you're sorry to turn the last page. NEVER TOO MUCH is a delightful tale about two very strong-minded and strong-willed people, each with their own set of issues that must be resolved before they can finally commit to each other. Some scenes are heartbreaking while others, especially where Ben's mother and grandmother are involved, are tender or hysterical. The sub romance between Ben's mother and Sierra's friend and coworker is just as satisfying as the main romance.

I highly recommend NEVER TOO MUCH as classic Lori Foster with a little bit of a twist. A sequel to TOO MUCH TEMPTATION, this tale can be read alone, but my advice is to read TMT first to get the whole effect of all the characters and how their relationships develop.

Summary: Very Good
Review: Ben's story is a good as Noah's. Ben becomes attracted to his new neighbor who owns a landscaping business. Sierra is afraid of a relationship, because of the abuse she suffered from her husband and father. She just wants to be independent and make her business successful. Ben doesn't want to take any of this away from her he just wants to be close to her. He slowly works his way into her heart. He shows her that not all men are the unfeeling and brutal as her husband and father. This is a well written romance that will leaving wishing that there was more.

Summary: Lori Has Done It Again!!
Review: First off for those of you that like your novels steamy, hot, and sexy you will still find this within the pages of this story just not with the normal intensity that you normally find with other books by this author.

Ben and Sierra's story is really multi-layered story and Ms. Foster takes the time to build the story between the two characters and does not have them jumping into bed right off. I feel that this adds to the story and the tension between the two main characters.

Ben loves women and he has a great respect for them. Sierra has been taught by her one and only experience that men can be cruel and hurtful. Her ex-husband was abusive not only physically but mentally as well. He father did not care about her situation and turned his back on her. What sane woman would not be careful? Ms. Foster is just being true to how a person would act in a similar situation. Sierra is on her own and alone with the exception of her friend Kent. Together they are starting her landscaping business. Ben's own hotel is across the street from Sierra and the sparks fly between the two from the start. Noah and Grace as well as "Aggie" are back in this story about love, family, and trust. Together Ben and Sierra find out that loving someone does not weaken them and that trust is just as important as friendship.

The love scenes are hot and steamy but are part of the story not a vehicle to add filler. The side story of Kent and Ben's mother Brooke is also fun to read. This story is just as good as the first story "Too Much Temptation" and brings back some great characters. You won't want to miss this story.

Summary: Boring, predictable, erotica?
Review: First off this book states on the cover that it is erotica. Published by the well known Brava line that specializes in erotica. Do not trust either the label, or publishing line. This book is as sensual as milk toast. The writing is stilted, predictable, and at worst boring. I would not recommend a trip to library to RENT this book let alone buy it.

Summary: Annoying heroine
Review: Honest fans of Foster's work will admit that they read her for one main reason: the steamy sex that liberally peppers her novels. Her characters are generally one-dimensional and her plots are fluff. The prequel to this novel, TOO MUCH TEMPTATION, was fluff and its characters were basically one-dimensional, but because they were so easy to like, it was a cute romance (particularly since the heroine was so sweet and had a weight problem). However, NEVER TOO MUCH doesn't even make "cute." Of course, Foster gives readers the standard perfect, too good to be true hero. He's ultra-sexy, smart, kind, and the list goes on. I wonder if I'm alone in wishing that Ben had a fault or two to make him more real. Nevertheless, as an avid romance novel reader, I'm used to perfect heros. However, I just couldn't handle the snippy heroine. I suppose Foster created her with the intention of giving Ben a challenge. However, there's a difference between someone being a challenge and someone being rude and snippy. Sierra was rude and snippy. I can't count the number of times that she tells Ben she's not interested when she really is interested. I actually found myself hoping that Ben would finally say "okay" and give up on her; he deserved better and could definitely get better.

The subplot of Brooke and Kent was more interesting and I wish that Foster had spent a little more time on that. All in all, if you can get this one from a library, you might as well read it (especially, if you read TOO MUCH TEMPTATION). However, it certainly isn't worth the [price] bookstores are charging.

CAUTION: For those new to Foster, she writes extremely explicit sex scenes, so do not leave this one out on the coffee table!

Summary: The title says it all!
Review: I agree with this author and her book title "Never Too Much!" Ain't it the truth...I mean when it comes to romance!!! Buy the book! You'll be happy you did!
