Rating: Summary: I cried!!! Review: I started collecting Black romance novels about 6 months ago. I read on average three a week. At the end of this book I found tears in my eyes! This love story was so touching. I like the fact that girlfriend had beauty and a REAL body. God... I can only pray to find a man who'd adore me like Donald adored Taylor. Their love making was HOT,EMOTIONAL and BEAUTIFUL!!! I too hope that Bette Ford will continue telling the story of Scott and Jenna.

Rating: Summary: The Basketball Player and His Lady Review: Since this has been my re-read all of Bette Ford week, I decided to input comments. I truly have enjoyed this book everytime I have read it, which is several times! Its a story about the professional basketball player, Donald Williams who becomes suddenly attracted to Taylor Hendricks. Their initial meeting in a restaurant is not a good one but its left some serious sparkling attractions on both parties. But then every good story has to have issues, RIGHT? Yes, Taylor has a younger brother who by the way is in college. He has some decisions he is trying to make that seem to affect this newfound relationship between Donald and Taylor. Well, my fellow readers, you'll just have to read this book and need I say it has a plot but then if you have read any of Ms. Ford's books it has those YES, sizzling, hot, loving scenes. Ms. Ford always delivers to her readers and you should enjoy this book. Here are some of her published books to read: All The Love, For Always, Forever After and One of a Kind.
Rating: Summary: GRRRReat Review: Taylor and Donald made me laugh, cry, scream and holler. I loved it probably because it reminded me of me. Bette's writing was so clear I could actually visualize what was going on. Donald made me cry in the airport. I loved Taylor and the way she tried with everything in her to fight the feeling. But as we all know, we can't control LOVE.
Rating: Summary: Relentless Love Review: The story line was an excellent portrayal of a man and woman who thought love wasn't an intricate part of their lives. Taylor and Donald had both put their hearts away, substituting their careers and family for the love they couldn't find. Then Taylor walked into his life, releasing his captive heart. This voluptuous beauty had ignited a smouldering flame in Donald that turned into a raging fire that could only be extinguished by her passionate touch. Taylor, a woman who had no use for a man who she felt had unrealistic influence over her brother's future, slowly unbridled her feelings of uncertainty about Donald, and allowed herself to discover that a mans deep and enchanting love and erotic nature could release all her inhibitions and wash away the hurt and fear that had locked her heart away. Through Taylor and Donald's intimate and erotic discoveries of each other, nothing but love could prevail. I thoroughly enjoyed Bette's novel and plan to find previous novels and definitely keep my eyes and computer tuned to catch all her new ones.
Rating: Summary: Simply Wonderful Review: The story of Donald and Taylor was my introduction into the field of African-American romance novels. And what an intro it was. Donald Williams is a man most women dream about. Tall, dark, and sexier than any one man has a right to be. I read this book in two days. Bette Ford put her best foot out there with this one. It was filled with love and passion. I enjoyed myself from the 1st page. I was truly sad to see the book end. I just wanted to read more and more about this interesting duo. I implore all who haven't read it to treat yourself. To those who have...read it again! I wish there were more stars to add...5 just isn't high enough rating.
Rating: Summary: A "GREAT" READ Review: THIS AS A ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL BOOK. I ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER. THE CHARACTERS TAYLOR AND DONALD HAD ME WANTING A SEQUEL. WHAT A LOVELY COUPLE.
Rating: Summary: Bette's Best Review: This book is beyond excellant. A true page turner from beginning to the end. Taylor has helped raise her younger brother when her parents are forced to move to a warmer climate because of her father's health. Scott is now a hot college basketball player ready to submitt is name into the NBA draft. Taylor is not happy with this and does not like the influence the sexy Chicago Bulls player Donald has on Scott. But her walls begin to crumble once she really gets to know Donald the man. The love and passion between these two is HOTT! Although Taylor has some insecurities because of a pass experience she tries her best to not fall head over hills for Donald. But his genuine love for her is too hard to resist. If you have not read this book, run and get it. You will not be dissapointed. You will hate when it ends.

Rating: Summary: An absolute vacation for the mind and body Review: This book is not for the weak of heart. It is intense and arousing and provocative. My only problem is now every man I meet is being compared to Donald-- and that is not a bad thing !
