Rating: Summary: CAREER MINDED WOMAN FALLS FOR SEXY NBA SUPERSTAR Review: Bette Ford does it again. Like all of her previous books, this one is excellent. This was a very sensual love story. The characers are both hard-working individuals with deep family ties. The love scenes sizzle and burn!!! Bette Ford is an excellent writer and I can't wait until her next book comes out.
Rating: Summary: after dark Review: Does anyone have any idea what I went through to get this book, nothing like that! Joke, ha ha! But it did take a very long time forme to get my hands on a copy. But let me tell you it was well worththe very long wait!! Talk about a very determined man, Donald wouldnot take no for an answer from Taylor ... I mean if a Vince Carter wasafter me, there would be no hesitation on my part. I hope there is afuture book with Scott and Jenna' story in it, now that would belovely. A must read! Much love Ford!
Rating: Summary: Finally!!! Review: Does anyone have any idea what I went through to get this book, nothing like that! Joke, ha ha! But it did take a very long time forme to get my hands on a copy. Rating: Summary: HOT! HOT! HOT! Review: I absolutely loved this book. I loved that Taylor is a *real* woman, a full-figured beauty. I loved Donald's sensitivity and straight-forwardness. We are given enough insight into each of the main characters to really care about what happens to them. This is a perfect read for Valentine's day or any other time. I don't know how I missed Bette Ford's previous novels, but after reading this one, I just ordered all of the others I could find here. If books were rated like movies, this would be rated E- Erotic, Engaging, Enchanting and Entertaining! Thanks, Bette Ford.
Rating: Summary: an enjoyable story Review: I enjoyed going behind the scence of what it would be like to date a basketball superstar. Taylor tried to convince her brother a talented college basketball player and NBA draft choice not to quit college. She blamed Donald a superstar basketball player for recognizing her brother's talent. Taylor being upset with Donald only to find out he was attracted to her.She was not impressed at all with his money or his fame. She wanted him to convince her brother to stay in school while he thought the choice was her brother's . The more she resisted him the more he wanted her.
Rating: Summary: well worth the wait Review: I had been trying to get a copy of this book for two years. All I can say is that if you havent yet read it,go get this book!It is hot! While I will say that I was initially put of by the instant mind numbing attraction that Taylor and Donald felt in their first meeting, they did not immediatly jump each others bones and afterward have the "big misunderstanding"through the rest of the book. Taylor ,while feeling the attraction of the super sexy basketball player, never becomes a doormat for her feelings. She has a brain and opinions and she is not afraid to disagree with Donald. She has insecurities about her attractivness because she is a full-figued lady and not very sexualy experianced. Her concern for her brother,an up and coming college basket ball player considering jumping to the pros,is very comendable. That created the friction between her and Donald.I think her character is very real. Donald,on the other hand,is larger than life in more ways than one. His character is shown interacting with his family, doing charity work and being an all around great guy. This is supposed to show that he is a regular guy but come on. While I drooled over him,he never came alive for me the way that Taylor did. Ms.Ford did highlight what these guys go through with the groupies. The scene at the end when Taylor travels to surprise Donald in Atlanta shows the scams that some of these women go to to snag a b-ball player. All in all this was a great read and highly reccommened.

Rating: Summary: Enough Already Review: I know this is supposed to be a romance but the back to back love sessions were a bit much. We don't have to have details every single time they make love. An author is prone to run out of creative scenes. And why must most of the main female characters be so hard up with chips on their shoulders? Yes, men love a challenge and women who play hard to get but too much independence and bitchiness is a turn-off. But the author did touch well on the life of a celebrity. Donald was my only likable character.
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL! Review: I READ THE BOOK AND IT WAS WONDERFUL,WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE BOOK SHE MADE TAYLOR A TRUE TO FORM WOMAN NOT SOME SIZE 1 BUT A AVERAGE SIZE WOMAN. I WAS HAPPY ABOUT THAT, SHE KEEP ME INTO THE BOOK ALL DAY LONG WANTING TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND THE LOVE SCENE'S WERE GREAT. SHE IS A WONDERFUL WRITER.
Rating: Summary: This book gives new meaning to opposites attract... Review: I read this book from cover to cover and still keep coming back for more. Ford took the idea of male sensitivity to a whole new level in her protrayal of a Bulls pro-ball player. Any professional athlete out there should be pleased to not have been regarded as a pompous jerk who thinks he can have any woman he wants. Ford makes the reader wish they were there and it was all happening to them. To say that once you start reading you can't put the book down is an understatement to say the least. I also have to commend Ford on coining the phrase 'Money can't buy happiness' because once Donald had his taste of Taylor he came to the realization that he could not go on without her and all the money in the world would not feel the void if one day she was no longer a part of his life.
The one thing I appreciated the most was in the portrayal of Taylor. She exhibited that not all women see dollar signs when they look at a financially stable man.
