Rating: Summary: It's Perfect! Review: I've read this book about gazillion times and still not sick of it. This book has made me cry and laugh. I fell inlove with Zack, wishing that I was Julie. This book totally shows how love conquers all. It lives up to its title. It's perfect!
Rating: Summary: I was completely into the story!! Review: I am a great fan of JM, I love every single book by her. I usually finished her book in last than 4 days, cos' I just don't have the heart to put down the book once I started it(if I can help it), and for "Perfect", it's worst! The story is still very much in me after I have completed it. And I went back to read it all over again, slower, trying to digest every bits of story. To date, I have read it 5 or 6 times!! To prevent me from reading it again and again, I actually have to pass the book to my friends, so that I can stop thinking about the story for a while! It is really the one book I really adore, it's more than just a romance between 2 persons, it's about how with a little help, you could pass on the light of literacy. It's just awesome, I don't know how else to express how great "Perfect" is, other than the title itself. I guess the best way to feel how I feel is to grab hold "Perfect" and read it yourself.
Rating: Summary: It made me feel all the emotions that I've never felt before Review: I first got ahold of this book from a friend. I had been complaining that I couldn't find a good book to read lately, and she brought this one to my attention. I started reading it, and got mezmorized by the way that it made you want to go on. It makes you wonder "What's going to happen next??" I spent many late nights staying up reading this book. I'm in high school, and I reccomend this book to all high school students as well as adults. This book made me laugh, it made me happy, it made me sad. It also has made me do something that no other book, movie, or person has made me do. It made me cry. I bawled and threatened my friend that I'd kill her if the book didn't get better. The best part about this book is that it doesn't leave you hanging about what's going to happen to the couple after they get together. Trust me on this one, this book will make you feel like you have never felt before.
Rating: Summary: The most PERFECT love story Review: This was my first Judith McNaught book and now I am hooked. Perfect has become my favorite novel. It is the most beautiful love story every written and the best part is - it does not end the page after the couple finally gets together. The reader experiences all of the turmoil that Julie & Zack must go through to be together, but then we can enjoy them a little while longer.
Rating: Summary: Perfect was the absolute best of romance . Review: Perfect was the most beautiful and touching love story I've ever read . This is definitely Judith McnAught at her best ! In this love story she puts together the two most unlikely people ever . Zack Benedicat and Julie Mathison . A young prim teacher and a convict on the run . How she manages to make them fall so deeply in love is still beyond my imagination .I won't ruin this book by telling you the details . I give you my word though you won't regret it !
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Ever Written Review: Once in a while comes a romance novel that stays with you forever and this book is it. In this book
Judith captures the intensity of emotions behind the hero and heroine and many of the secondary characters. In the first few chapters, when the hero(ine)s beginnings were described--I cried, and I cry every time I read it. Some books have much intensity and emotion between the characters, others have a good story line. Some books have good sex between the characters, and others have sweetness. Somehow JM managed to capture all those elements in this novel. She is on par with my other two favs Elizabeth Lowell, and Lavyrle Spencer!
Judith must make a sequel to this book!
Rating: Summary: This is my MOST favorite book ever!!!! Review: When my friends ask why Perfect is my favorite book ever, there's one thing that comes to my mind. I WANT TO BE HER!! I want to go to the secluded cabin in the woods, i want to be swept off my feet. I want to fall in love so purly and passionatly as she does. And everyone of my friends who has read it agrees with me...they want to be Julie. Even through the fear she feels in the beginning, and the anger she feels when they must part, it doesn't compare to the joy and romance they have when they're together. And I always know it's a great book when the tears fall at the end, and I go right back to the beginning and start reading it again. This book is my fantasy
Rating: Summary: You'll want to read it more than once. Review: I am not normally a reader of Ms McNaught's work. However after reading a couple of her short stories in "Holiday for Love and Gift of Love", I gave her a try. I found her to an accomplished writer. Her ability to get to the heart of a modern day romance was truly refreshing. I found her heroine of Julie to be funny, naive, daring and a true joy to follow. The hero, Zach, is one most women will want to swoon over. You can honestly tell that Ms McNaught had a great time creating him and his challenging relationship with Julie.
For anyone not greatly familar with Ms McNaught's work, I recommend that you try this book if you like modern day romances and a book that is very difficult to put down.
Rating: Summary: If you want to escape with a "feel good" book, try Perfect Review: I've read just about everything that McNaught haswritten, and Paradise and Perfect are the two best.Although her stories about the Westmorelands were interesting..and well written....they were predictable. Not true of Perfect. This story had several underlying plots...some were, again, predicatbale....but not true of the relationship Julie and Zack. Their story was poignant, sweet and fairytale. Even if most of us will never have a fairytale romance in our lives, if you need to simply escape for a weekend and want to spend it with a captivating book....try Perfect. I'm sure you'll not be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Can Perfect be anymore Perfect Review: I have yet to read a book that I love more then Perfect. This is a story of two people meeting under extremely stressful circumstances and that is saying the least. But when they come together their is no stopping them or is it. Can you forgive someone you love for betraying you? Can you love again after being so hurt so badly the first time around? You will just have to read Perfect to see what happen. But I warn you to start reading this book on a Sunday morning when you have nothing to do and by Sunday night you will be ready to face Monday morning
