Rating: Summary: A wonderful story Review: Perfect is my favorite book. I enjoyed the whole thing. It was very moving. Julie was a wonderful character, and so was Zack. I fell in love with him myself. The writing was simply amazing. Judith McNaught made me want to laugh at some parts, cry at others, and at some points, I wanted to throw the book against the wall I was so angry. But I loved the book all the more for that, becasue it made you feel. It wasn't a book that you can just casually read and then put it somehwere and forget about it for years until you decide to clean and discover it among a pile of junk. I've read this book hundreds of times, and it only gets better each time. The way Paul Richardson goes to Zack's house was amazing. I loved that scene (but not as much as all the time Julie and Zack spent in Colorado. That was the best). I gave it to my best friend to read, and she told me that it was the best book she had ever read. I agree wholeheartedly, and I hope that others feel the same way. If not an absolute favorite book, than perhaps one of the best you've ever read.
Rating: Summary: This is easily my all time ever favourite book Review: I loved tis book so much that I named my daughter after the heroine. And what a heroine. She is gutsy, loving, totally amazing, funny, My favourite line of hers is "how can you have a fullback, quater back half back, but no three quaterback?'. Zack is every womans dream hero, what more can I say about him. I still think this book would make a great movie!! I read it, my mum read it , my sister read it, my cousins read it, my best friends have all read it, it is superlative. Everything you could possibly want in a romance, and a storyline, and wonderful heroine to boot. Read it. Buy it give it too your best friend, your worst enemy, and your mother in law. They will love it too, and your feud may end!!!!!!! Keep up the good work, Judith, and please write more about Meridth, Matt, Julie and Zack. P.S. when you read this one, have a very large box of tissues. You'll laugh, you'll cry, cry and be so satisfied with the ending you won't want it to end. I only hope that my own Julie will grow up to have even a half of the character that Mc Naught's Julie ha
Rating: Summary: One worth reading Review: O.k. I guess I agree with some of the other reviews that Sandini seems to be missing from the end. However, if you consider the fact that Sandini prefers to be in the background and Zach will always be very much in the forefront, it makes sense that he's missing from Zach and Julies life at the end. The rest of the book was fantastic. It kept me interested from beginning to end. I also loved the chemistry between Julie and Zach. I read a part of this book while in a doctors waiting room and actually embarrassed myself by laughing out loud! It's one of those books that really makes you feel. Not your typical drippy romance with a quick sappy ending either. I can't wait to read some of the authors other books.
Rating: Summary: You can't never get enough of it Review: Perfect is the second JM's book I've read. The character is just fabulous. Call me a freak if you want to, but I can't had enough of Zack and Julie. Zack is the best hero EVER created. He is charming, sweet, witty and very, very lovable. Although I don't really like the part where Julie had to betray Zack for " his own good" but I think that's what make this book somehow different. It increases the suspense and makes me really eager to find out what happened next. I guess I could say this not the typical romance novel. The character, the plot and the writing is so real that you don't have a hard time imagining what it's like. The letter that Zack wrote to Julie is really touching, so does the last part where Zack recalls the poem Debby Sue Casdidy wrote for Julie. I would say this book is a terrific catch and after you finish reading it... you will close your eyes and let your imagination takes you to what is it to be like to be loved by a guy as terrific as Zachary Benedict.
Rating: Summary: 10 stars if I could... Review: My friend had been begging me to read Perfect for months. She told me it was the best book she had ever read and although I believed her I was wary of reading contemporary romance since historical has long been my favourite.I finally did read it to her genuine surprise and happiness. And I read it in one day, not being able to stop myself from turning the pages. Completely full of action packed suspense, sad and touching moments and hysterical scenes at which I laughed until my sides hurt, this book took my breath away. I have never fallen so in love with a man in any romance novel I have read. It left me wishing that I could find a "Zack" of my own to love me the way he loved Julie. He has it all... soft and tender yet cool and arrogant when he needs to be. Julie was the classic "good girl" who had tried to live her life perfectly in a subconcious effort to overcome the street-wise orphan she had once been. I felt her pain and marveled at those moments when she gave him as good as she got. She never failed to come back with a perfect comeback to his sometimes sarcastic comments... and he would suddenly see her smile and his resolve would break and he would burst into helpess laughter. She had a way of making his emotions spin like a yo-yo. She could turn him from complete fury to being completely flustered. What I truly loved was the notion that they both felt something missing from their very different lives until the time they spent together... Then, suddenly the pieces of the puzzle came into place and they fit together perfectly. This book never has a dull or boring moment and it has left me somehow yearning for another book as good as this one has been. I am afraid I'll be sadly disappointed with whatever I read next because what on earth can equal or surpass Perfect? All I know is that these fictional characters became very real to me and I applaud Judith for being able to take them and make them literally jump off the page and enter your life as though they are there in the same room with you. The title of this book fits it well... PERFECT.

Rating: Summary: Oh, I've Found the Perfect Lover! Review: Perfect is an absolute joy to read and an extremely fulfilling novel. Judith McNaught not only gives the usual romance and passion, but she also includes a mystery. It is a two in one special. What I liked about the characters is that they were not perfect. In fact, it is their flaws that makes them perfect in my mind. Julie seems like your everyday, sugary school teacher who works with not only handicapped children, but with iliterate women as well; but as a child she was far from being a "good girl." Abandoned by her parents, she was a victim of a disorganized foster care system and failing health. At age 11 she could not read even the word "n-a-m-e" and was a street savvy girl. But thanks to a perceptive psychologist, she was given a second chance. In contrast, Zach was born into an affluent family and had the stereotypical "rich boy life:" fast cars, women, boarding school, and Ivy League college. That suddenly changes when his grandmother disowns him. Despite this set back he becomes a successful movie star. That is what makes Zack so wonderful: he makes it without his family's wealth to back him. The mystery part of the novel comes when Zack is wrongly accused of murdering his wife; it could potentially be an annoying obstacle for someone looking for hardcore passion, but I can assure you that you'll be so enraptured with Zack, you'll be more than eager to find the person who has delivered him the injustice. As always, Ms. McNaught has paired a fiesty heroine with an equally stubborn and outwardly cold hero, which makes the love they eventually share so absolutely passionate and wonderful. A book about second chances that I enthusiastically recommend. Final word: Look out for THE Letter...it will melt your heart.

Rating: Summary: Good Read Review: This is a pretty good read and one of my favorite of Judith's novel. I do agree with the other reviewer in terms of Sandini. How come he just went missing from the pages. It seems like when the character was first introduced, it was very strong and has high impact but then just went to zero. Also it bothers me a lot that most of Judith McNaught's female leads have no sexual experience or if they do, they are portrayed as these uptight, rigid, low-self-worth women in bed. Understanding if it is a 18th century setting but the 19th or 20th century ones? C'mon...
