Summary: A sweet love story
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Luke and Cassandra's story was very sweet to read. It was also sad. I had a hard time believing that anyone could be as naive and innocent as Cassie. I also got really mad when Luke set up the Zerek men to go to jail. Other than that I really enjoyed the changes Luke went through to learn how to love and I thought it was a great ending. Defenitly worth the read!

Summary: I loved it!
Review: I thought "Annie's Song" was her crowning jewel, but this one was even better! I don't know how she does it, but Catherine Anderson really knows how to tug at your heartstrings. (I guess it's the soft spot people have for others that were abused.) Highly recommend it.

Summary: Charm me so deeply....
Review: Luke Taggert is a business man...a business man who's willing to do anything it takes to get what he wants. And right now he wants Cassandra Zerek. She signs a contract, agreeing to his terms, but doesn't understand the ramifications of what she's signing. Due to her misunderstanding the terms of their agreement, Luke doesn't get what he wanted...no, instead he gets much, much more than he bargained for.

Catherine Anderson does a great job redeeming Luke, a hero who was everso unheroic at the beginning of the book, and a man you fell in love with by the end of it. Simply Love was simply a great read!

Summary: Loved it!
Review: Luke Taggert is a classic example of what lengths a man will go to for love (in a romance novel, that is!) Yes - he's a distrustful, selfish adult due to a horrendous, abusive childhood but wow! Does he complicate his life and Cassandra's with lies and deceit. He could have made life so simple if he'd just said "I love you Cassie." But then we wouldn't have had this wonderful story, would we? Anyway - I went through a real love/hate relationship with Luke. Cassandra was so easy to like but Luke! I could have belted him a couple of times, he felt so real. Which just goes to prove what a master storyteller Catherine Anderson is. The 400 pages just slipped by - I had a difficult time putting the book down. Bravo! I also loved her book Forever After.

Summary: Excellent
Review: Not quite as good as Annies Song, but still a very good read, I can't wait for the next book this terrific author pens.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Heartwarming and heartbreaking
Review: One of the best books I've read in a long time. Luke Taggart offers Cassandra Zerek a job as his paid companion. Cassandra is such an innocent, she doesn't understand what's expected. Some funny occur moments when Luke tries to explain. I hope Catherine Anderson will continue with this family and tell us the story of Ambrose.

Summary: Saccharine Sweet (and DUMB) Heroine Ruins Story
Review: This book was a total disappointment. I generally like my heros a little dark and tortured, so I was looking forward to this book. Unfortunately, the heroine totally ruined the story. She was so saccharine sweet - she was utterly naive and always nice. I am sure deers approached her and butterflies flitted around her head. I would also classify her in the 'too stupid to live' category. She was not a good match for the hero. Don't waste your time with this one - read To Have and To Hold for a dark hero/forced relationship romance!

Summary: Charming
Review: This book was truly lovely. I didn't really know quite what to expect when I started reading this as it was the first Anderson book I had read. While very few books move me to tears, this one did. Anderson has a gift for reaching one's tender feelings and emotions. The hero, Luke, was a truly kind man. He tries, vainly, to hide his goodnes behind a jaded, man of the world facade. The heroine was charming but, in my opinion, a bit too innocent and kind. I found myself being occasionally annoyed by her naiveity and blind trust. I wanted to shake her sometimes and say, "wake up, for God's sake, you're not a baby!" While what Luke does to her was quite reprehensible, (for those of you who have yet to read the book, I'll refrain from stating what he did) I thought he took the whole quest for forgiveness thing a bit too far. At times this book was rather sappy and blatantly sentimental, but all in all, a good read and one that definitely touches one's feelings.
