Summary: Most excellent read!
Review: Vanessa Wyndham is placed in a position of imminent "scandal", as companion to Olivia Sinclair (Lord D's little sister) through her foolish brothers actions .... Lord Damian Sinclair (our most sensual leading man) seeks to use Vanessa's position, as companion, in his bid for revenge, against said brother, and Vanessa's eventual ruination. The story that unfolds is very sensual, erotic, and unusual: love emerges in the most unexpected arena, and revenge takes a most unintended twist.

All in all, the best NJ novel I have read and totally worth the read!!!!!!! You will definitely have this one on the "for keeps" shelf.

Warning though, for you more TIMID readers, this book warrants an extremely high rating for steamy sex scenes .... don't even open the first page if you don't like the type of sex scene that melts the page it's written on!

Enjoy the read, Kristina

Summary: The Seduction
Review: AWESOME! The first book I picked up by Nicole Jordan was "The Seduction". Since then I have scrambled to find anything with her name on it to read. Not only are the stories good, but they never get boring. It is so hard to put down the books once you open them. It has been a week since that first book and I have read 4 more since then. I just started on the 5th book in her Notorious series. I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it deserves at least 10.

Summary: the seduction
Review: Ms. Jordan never fails me that historical romance can be so fun to read with the right chemistry and imagination .But in THE SEDUCTION, she rejuvenating me to continue to enjoy romance novels and intelligent dialogue. With a twist of erotic imaginative scenes that spices up the stories.

Summary: Below expectations
Review: I have to confess that after reading all the reviews, I was hoping for this one to be a scorcher..something along the lines of a Susan Johnson or Ceryl Holt book. This book was too bland for my liking, and while there were a lot of love scenes, they were much tamer than what I thought they would be.
Secondly, the book was very short, 350 pages of large print, so I never felt that I got to know any of the characters...didn't care much for the hero to begin with!

Summary: Where was the seduction?
Review: The hero is a total twit. He tells her she has to sleep with him in order to make up for her brother ruining his sister's life with a thwarted elopement. As if ruining one woman is going to make up for it?

He treats her like a tart, and then wonders why everyone else does as well? He next agrees to tutor her in how to please a man so when he inevitably dumps her she will be able to get a higher price on the open market, when all he has to do is stop the vendetta against her brother so they can keep their home and fortune. He is a disgusting human being who leaves her open to scandal, ruin, VD, and rape at an orgy set up by his friends.

The heroine says it all when he attempts feebly to propose to her to try to keep her for his own selfish reasons. He is the kind of man she couldn't love. He doesn't know how to love. He is a rake and a user with no redeeming features except, as he says himself, an ability to make money, which he then throws at every problem.

In the last 20 or so pages of the book he then 'reforms' and gives her lavish gifts for her services rendered which any woman with an ounce of self-respect would refuse. The brothel scene is really the last straw. She is just an object to swive, not even with his own natural endowments most of the time, if you take my meaning. There was no love, tenderness or commitment in this book, and the saccharine sweet romance between the sister and brother is the only high point of this otherwise awful novel.
I would give it negative stars if I could. Spicy is one thing, but there is no romance. And the writing style is so poor that the word 'erotic' appeared on virtually every single page of every single sex scene. Of which there were way too many. Please can we have some characters that speak and develop and grow, not pieces of anatomy that go up and down, in and out, round and round etc.

.

Summary: Whew!!!...What a scorcher!!!
Review: I loved this book. The characters had amazing chemistry and I enjoyed the fact that there was not an external conflict...the H/H had their own underlying issues that kept them apart..I found this made their coming together that much more emotional. While "The Seduction" is a great read, it's not for everyone...there are some seriously explicit lovescenes in it...however, Ms. Jordan manages to balance this with wonderful emotion..this is truly a fabulous read and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Summary: bit queasy
Review: The first scene and subsequent bordello scenes are supposed to show us how decadent and hollow life is for the men who only pursue pleasure. Problem is the author doesn't make the scenes different enough from the Good Sex stuff. There's a fine line between erotic and porn. I like it when it's clear which you're reading. This book blurs the line, but not because the situation is ambiguous, which is the only thing that excuses that kind of blur. Plot was okay, heroine wasn't a martyr victim type which is refreshing. But not a keeper in my library.

Summary: A Great Seductive Read
Review: Damien Sinclair or Lord Sin as he is known to most of London is a rake and only concerned with his own pleasures. That was until his little sister is injured and her reputation is torn to shreds. Now his main concern is to make the man who is responsible for her pain pay. Vanessa is Aubrey's sister and she can not believe how low her brother has fallen. She goes to Damien and offers to take care of his sister. He accepts but only on the condition that she becomes his mistress. This way Aubrey can understand how important a sisters reputation can be and he is able to get his vengence all at the same time. What he does not count on is his feelings for Vanessa.

This is a great read from a wonderful author. Don't miss it!
