Summary: Steamy Romance!
Review: Wow! Well what can I say... I believe I just finished reading the sexiest novel ever. THE SEDUCTION is filled with steamy sex scenes, from front to back. Now mind you, I didn't decide to read THE SEDUCTION because of steamy scenes, but because I wanted to read something by Nicole Jordan! And.. you know, this so happens to be her latest book.

Anyway, I'd like to say that I really enjoyed the story. Ms. Jordan has a way to include hot stuff in her story without distracting the reader from the plot. It's a novel where a reader can read, without thinking too much. Basically a book worth to spend time on. I loved her characters. Lady Vanessa had a very strong and caring personality. She took it upon herself to prevent her brother from losing all the family property to Lord Damien by posing as Damien's mistress. With her strengh, it really made her shine throughout the story. Lord Damien, a rake, was able to change for the better with the help of Vanessa. It was quite funny, now that I realize it, that Damien had a wonderful plan to seduce Vanessa, whereas in the end he was the one that ended up being seduced by Vanessa - unintentionally on her part, of course! It was also a pleasure to read about Olivia and Aubrey's relationship and how they got over their conflicts (Olivia is Damien's younger sister, and Aubrey is Vanessa's younger brother). I'm looking forward to THE PASSION - the sequel to THE SEDUCTION.

If you do end up enjoying this story like I did, another book on the similar theme of seduction is SEDUCED BY A SCOUNDREL by BARBARA DAWSON SMITH.

Summary: THIS BOOK IS SEDUCTIVE
Review: Nicole Jordan bounces back full-force with a compelling romantic novel,THE SEDUCTION - a tale of redemption, love and breathtaking sensuality. From her early novels such as THE WARRIOR and THE HEARTBREAKER, Ms. Jordan never fails to convince me that historical romance can be such engaging read with the right chemistry and poignancy. But in THE SEDUCTION, she tests her boundaries with rejuvenating and intelligent dialogues and some erotic imaginative scenes that spices up the story.

Lady Vanessa Wyndham is one amazing character - strong-minded and intelligent, who agrees to redeem his brother by offering her services as a guardian to Lord Damien's sister (Olivia), because her brother, Aubrey has inflicted paralysis on Olivia in a forbidden tryst. Vanessa manages to win the trust and friendship of Olivia and charms Damien with her unique blend of beauty and wit. Damien, being a notorious rake, sought only his pleasure in tempting Vanessa, but never did he realize he would lose his heart as well.

The secondary romance with Aubrey and Olivia is one that miraculously compliments that of Vanessa and Damien - both seeks redemption and understanding in love. There is sensuality in the love scenes especially where Damien and Vanessa agreed on a coaching of love-making. Damien is frightened of his obsession with her, and he understands he is not worthy of her with his past decadent ways.

It is not just steamy sex that gloss up the pages but the mutual understanding and heated chemistry between the two characters that is lacking in many historical romances. Ms. Jordan is a gifted writer who knits many universal values together -the friendship between Olivia and Vanessa, the acceptance and forgiveness shown in Damien's love for Vanessa and his sister. It surpasses the ordinary historical romances with a passionate style. Altogether, this book is a keeper and is one which restores faith and love in cynics like me.

THE SEDUCTION is dazzling, passionate and heart-rendering that will enthrall fans of this talented writer. With a period of absence from the writing scene, she proves she hasn't lost the magical touch.

Welcome back, Nicole Jordan.

Summary: Great, great love scenes!
Review: Have your cold shower running because after reading the amorous scenes in this book, you'll need to cool off! This book had some of the most adventurous and original lovemaking I've ever read in a romance novel.

I love Lord Sin as the depraved rake and Vanessa as the honorable, but passionate heroine. The have major chemistry and the whole book sizzles with their attraction.

I highly recommend this one!

Summary: Love, Obsession, Revenge
Review: If you are uneasy about stories that are based on a sexual premise, this book is not for you.

Damien Sinclair, the story's dark hero, is bent on destroying Aubrey Trent, a n'er-do-well nobleman who was responsible for an accident which ended up crippling Damien's younger sister Olivia. He manages to bankrupt Aubrey at the gaming tables. Aubrey's sister Vanessa, who has been cleaning up Aubrey's and their father's messes, so to speak, for the past several years, begs Damien for mercy. He drives a hard bargain: she must agree to be his mistress, and he will forgive Aubrey's debts. As the story proceeds, Damien's obsession with revenge gives way to a sexual obsession with Vanessa which has the potential to redeem his corrupt existence. But how will he and Vanessa move their feelings beyond mutual lust? The example for such a transformation comes from two unlikely characters. Read the book for more - I don't want to reveal the plot!

The characters are well written and have depth and believability. The premise, while somewhat disturbing, is also credible. The sexual scenes, including glimpses of the seamier side of 19th century London life in the brothels, are graphic. All in all, however, this is a book about love, obsession, revenge, and the price of each. One of the better Regency novels I've read lately, and I'm happy to recommend it.

By the way, it seems that one of the characters is making a cameo appearance as a sort of audition for the next book in the series - see if you can guess who!

Summary: I was seduced!
Review: Wow. This is the first Nicole Jordan book I've read, and it won't be the last! The story and the love scenes are so hot, I just couldn't get enough. Also, it is such a well written romance, devoid of countless cliches and mechanical, tired phrases. I can't wait to read another by the author!

Summary: Good reading for hot Summer nights
Review: The Seduction surprised me. I began this book with very low expectations. I read the reviews and thought that I would give this one a try. I am glad that I did. I will read Nicole Jordan again; I just don't consider her a favorite author. The story begins with a rake and an almost innocent. Damien (the rake) must go home and help his sister deal with the repercussions of a horrible accident. In doing so, he "engages" the help of Vanessa (the almost innocent). I found it hard to like Damien to begin with. He was shallow, and self absorbed, but it was a nice change to watch the hero develop an awareness of his own actions and how they affect others. Vanessa is down on her luck due to the careless actions of her late husband and older brother. She must become a companion by day and a mistress by night. The love scenes are wonderfully explicit and make up for what I consider the lack of development in the characters. I enjoyed reading the story, I was interested and entertained, but at the same time, when I finished the book, I was finished. I don't have any attachment to the people in this story.

Summary: I enjoyed this book
Review: This was the first book I have ever read by Nicole Jordan, as soon as I was done with it I went out and bought three more of her books. This story was really two romance novels in one. Of course, you have the main couple Vanessa and Damien and they were a great couple! I always love to see a man change to the win the love of a lady. This book gave Damien a lot of depth and emotions of his own, which was great because a lot of times the heroes are left without a lot of depth. The only reason that I gave this book a four is because of some of the things Vanessa did, I did not feel drawn in by the fact that her brother had no problem with allowing her to become a man's mistress to clear-up his gambling debts. That whole thing was the weakest part of this story for me.

Olivia was a great addition to this story, she was a person that I found myself cheering on the whole time. When Vanessa first meets her and she is that dark room lying in bed her heart having been broken; I wanted to jump in the book and try to make her feel better. I felt that she was someone who was supposed to a subcharacter in the story, but ended up being a main chararter to me. Aubrey he was the least likable person in this book if he was my brother I would not have been as nice as Vanessa was about the problems his selfish behavior caused.

Summary: If you're looking for hot, steamy romance, read this!
Review: I give it 4 stars because there is some cheesy dialogue and the characters are a bit 2 dimensional. But the plot was unique and the amorous scenes are HOT! This might be one of the steamiest romance novels I've ever read.

This is my first Nicole Jordan novel. I plan to read more of her stuff. Hopefully it is as good as this one (and maybe a bit better!)

Summary: Seductive.
Review: Now this is brilliance. Candlelight, wine, roses, and a caring hunk, what more could a woman ask for? If you are looking for the ticket to sweep you into a land filled with fantasy and captivation, then unlock this portion of Nicole Jordan's engaging 'Notorious Series'. Caution: lust and desire are sharing your first-class accommodations.

The widowed Lady Vanessa Wyndham is a resourceful sister. The reprehensible Lord Damien Sinclair is a loving brother. To soothe family difficulties they become players in a provocative agreement. Nicole Jordan effectively negotiates the terms and the winner is the delirious reader. The sex scenes are electrifying, but the author never allows these scenes to drift from the story. This is the novel's strength.

Jordan does an attractive job on the personalities of her characters. Vanessa is strong, intelligent and kind. Although her first marriage was an ordeal, our heroine never appears the mangled 'butterfly'. This is refreshing. Damien is the typical English rake, but the author's handling of his reform is a gift to behold. Well done Ms. Jordan.

The prologue is the book's major weakness. I suspect most readers enjoy a little foreplay before the heavy intimacy spills onto the pages. Unfortunately, in this book's introduction, the author shoves her unprepared audience, into the torrent, without a breath.

The author saturates the final pages with immense activity. The reader is traveling at warp speed; warning, buckle your seat belt. Viewpoint: Jordan should have slowed the conclusion and scrapped the prologue. Nevertheless, these are minor flaws. 'The Seduction' is a good book -- for the keeper shelf.

Summary: I cannot wait for the audio
Review: Great story of seduction. I cannot wait for the audio version. That will certainly make my commute more fun until the story is over. This author (Nicole Jordan) writes so that you feel like you are in the story. When they do the audio I hope the reader tells the story with enthusiasm and sound effects. Get this book, but wait for the audio cassette. Enjoy.
