Rating: Summary: This is first Dara joy book - Read - Loved it! Review: This was a great book - I want to read all of hers now. The only thing that I didn't like was the ending - that kind of disapointed me - otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: Dara Joy....keepers almost all Review: I started my Dara Joy fan-dom with "Knight of a Trillion Stars"..and have enjoyed these books quite a bit over the past few years. "Mine to Take" continues the saga, and is just as fun. If you like fantasy, love, and laughs ... dive into this series.
Rating: Summary: A Great Book to read for fun Review: Rejar was a delightful and sexy read. I enjoyed learning what in the world Rejar (introduced in Knight of a Trillion Stars) was thinking. Even my husband read the book! He burst out laughing almost as many times as I did. If you like to combine humor, good characterization and raw sexuality this is a book for you.
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: A reader can not go wrong with Dara Joy.She has not written a bad book. Rejar is a book you will not be able to put down.I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning to finish reading this book.Read the whole series, they are all great!
Rating: Summary: Rejar - highly recommended Review: I never read timeswept romance before. Rejar is my first and I loved it so very much. This book is a very entertaining read and a hilarious page turner. The author is full of sense of humor and a wonderful storyteller. The hero is but a cat! He is no ordinary cat though. At the beginning I almost couldn't accept his cat being but as I read on I found that the book is a great timeswept romance. The hero, Rejar or Prince Nikolai Azov is very sexy. He travels from another world to Regency England and meets Lilac Devere. She detests him at first but she changes because of his passionate and caring self. Rejar seems to be more humanlike in later chapters. The plots are not complex yet there are embedded with excitements. I also like all of the secondary characters especially Rejar's brother, Traed. I highly recommend this book to all of romance fans.
Rating: Summary: Hillarious!! Review: Very funny, couldn't put it down. Even now I sometimes burst out laughing when I remember some of the scenes in the book. Where are those heroes??
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down.... Review: I was able to get Knight of a Trillion Stars, Rejar and Mine to Take from the library all at the same time. This is truly fortunate because I find that I can't put the books down. As soon as I finished Knight, I reached for Rejar (and finished it at 1:30 this morning). I plan to pick up Mine to Take as soon as I get home. The writing is fluid and erotic, the characters a joy to read about. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Rookie Review: I loved this book. There is nothing like reading real fiction. What a page turner. Rejar and Lilac what a great combination of experience and inexperience. I'm sorry I haven't read the relating stories that came before this book of Rejar. However, I do intend to sometime in the near future. At this point I can't see how this story could go on without a story about Tread. Thank you.
Rating: Summary: Not too bad, not too good Review: Well, I must say, as the second book I read in this series (Mine to Take being the first) the story is getting a wee bit better... but only a wee bit. For about the first half of the book though... oh a FIVE STAR! The first half is delightful! Lilac is so cute with her constant putting off of Nickolai! Their dynamic in the first half is so cute and funny! It is more amplified because of the fact Rejar holds Lilac every night, yet when she sees him as Prince Nickolai during the day, she hates him! hehe :) I loved how these two didn't actually have sex until after they were married, that was a nice change of pace! But after the initial sex... the whole character interaction changed. Rejar totally took control of Lilac's life, despite her living perfectly well before he came in, he seemed to have developed the idea that after marriage she became stupid and incompetent... grr. And another thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that there were two sex scenes that were very close to rape... And that is NOT romantic! I even noticed this happening in Mine to Take as well... ick! And the females just take it because they find the man sexy! That is seriously demeaning to any woman capable of thought. Basically these stories are about sex. Not love, or romance. Just physical attraction. Admittedly the characters once or twice list some non-physical things they like about each other... but it always comes back to the fact that the Familiar is sexy and he's just horny for the female. It is emphasized every time Ms. Joy uses the word "sensual". She uses that word way too much I must say. Everything about the man is "sensual" this and "sensual" that. Use a thesaurus once in a while please. Other than that, I like the plot line. I'll continue reading the series, especially if Traed keeps showing up ;) and to find out more about the plot with Rejar and Yaniff and such.
Rating: Summary: REJAR, A CAT???? COME ON!!!!!!!! Review: I admit it I bought this book because of the hunk on the cover, however when I found out he was a cat???? Well, please, that is realistic...I know this is suppose to be a fantasy of sorts but borders on the rediculous. And the heroine, she is not to bright...not much else to say about this book...even the love scenes weren't that great. If I were to describe this book the word, WEIRD..comes to mind...oh, well, to each his own..
