Rating: Summary: Ohh Baby. This book was sooooooo sensual Review: This book was fantastic. Congratulations Dara Joy on writing my kind of books. Everything in good taste even my boyfriend enjoyed the book and he does not like reading unless necessary. When is Traed's story coming I hope very soon and I want to be one of the first to buy it so keep me informed.
Rating: Summary: First book by her Review: I've never read anything by Dara before, but I probably will again! This book was really good and I really liked Rejar.
Rating: Summary: Not sure what to think Review: I gave this book four stars even though I am not sure I should. I loved the story, and Dara Joy can often make me laugh. However, as with other of her books, I was uncomfortable with some of the sex scenes. It is often the case where the heroine says "no" and then needs to be convinced that she really means "yes" as she is overpowed by the hero. It also bothers me that the male seems to be smarter in every situation. I would love to see some of her male characters make some mistakes! Another thing that bothers me is that in Dara Joy's books, women seem to become mated without their knowledge. Who would really belive such a marriage to be valid? Here I am complaining, and I know I will continue to read the Matrix series. I don't know how Dara Joy manages to write books that bother me and yet compel me to read them.
Rating: Summary: Humorous, Passionate & Sensual Review: As in the first book of this series, I could hardly put the book down. I read this book within one day. I was throughly excited about Rejar. It took me two months to locate the book but after reading it, it was worth the wait. I love the way Ms. Joy creates such sensual characters from not so ordinary "pets". The time travel element also created enough excitement to continue reading because you wanted to see Rejar safely home and you also wanted Lilac to have an adventure. I have always been fascinated by the sorcerer, Merlin, however, Yaniiff takes being a druid to another level. After reading Rejar and Dara Joy's other books, one can get the impression that perhaps there is another "realm" and there really are sensual and passionate "Familiars."
Rating: Summary: Another GREAAATTT book by Ms Joy Review: I adore cats and that's why I picked out the very first of Dara Joy's books. I've read Night of a Trillion Stars and Mine to Take before reading Rejar and I must say that the heros in all three books made a really captivating and entertaining reading. Even the heroines in the first two books did their part in holding my interest since they were also strong and special in their own way. I am however very disappointed in Lilac being so irritating and spoiled - that's what made me rate the book a 4. I really think her unworthy of Rejar especially considering the fact that he will be one of the greatest if not THE GREATEST and MOST POWERFUL charl/mystic in Aviara. I'm now looking forward to Traed's story whose character I actually like the best. Taking into account the tragedy of his parents I think it would be very interesting if he gets paired off with a woman who has taken the oath of the Tan-Shi. One who maybe has to go on a mission for the Alliance together with Traed, they will succeed of course and that way she'll get dispensation from her oath. This time around the ending will not be a tragic one because if anyone deserves a happy ending it's Traed. However at this time, Dara Joy is most probably having Traed's story edited already - I will still buy that book whoever HE gets partnered with. I'm just vacationing in your lovely country and will be going back to mine soon. There's no doubt about it though...all of Ms Dara Joy's books will be packed in my luggage to be read again and again. More power to her and thanx a lot for the hours of entertainment/relaxation that you have provided me with your books.
Rating: Summary: What a disappointment Review: Given all the hype about her, I was expecting something more from Dara Joy. While there were entertaining scenes, I found the prose, and the characters to be irritating. References to "said cat" leaped out at me through out the first half. The secondary characters seemed to be constructed of the flimsiest cardboard, and, once you got past the gimmick of the book (shape-changing alpha-male alien woos Regency England babe), the plot seemed very unimaginative. My wife says the next one is much better.
Rating: Summary: go out and get a cat then read this book. Review: rajar is sent through the time tunnels in search of a gem what he finds is a love he would die for.rajar and janise are very stubborn and realize almost to late how much they love each other.
Rating: Summary: Stimulating Story and Exciting Plot Review: Rajar was an exciting and vibrating story. I loved the idea of being able to change shapes to suit the situation. Dara has done it again. I have yet read one of her books t like. Be sure to read "Mine To Take", "Knight of a Trillion Stars" and "High Energy"! I cann't wait for her next book.
Rating: Summary: I can't believe I almost left this one Review: Rejar made me willing to read futuristic. I found myself fascinated by a Familiar. I have read the others in the series, I can't wait for the new ones to come out, but there is no way any is going to ever top Rejar. I would recommend Rejar to anyone. As a habit I will not read a book twice, but I would Rejar. He is one of the sexiest characters I have ever read. And I really like this thing where he can plant thoughts in her mind. Read it - you'll love it.
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: Dara Joy brought a hero to life that was so amazing that I wish I could have one just like him myself. A must for anyone that enjoys romances with a lot of zip!
