Summary: Wonderful Delivery! " The Drama" part was right on Queue!
Review: This novel was very well delivered, you were captured from the first sentence in the book. Mrs. Dames, went deep into your soul and sparked every possible human emotion through stimulation, heartbreak, and laughter. This novel was very captivating. This noel delivered to it's readers a twist of mystery, and a lot of everyday drama. I loved the ending, I never would have guessed it, which makes this book a sure winner. Review: This one had a great combination of drama, tragedy, and betrayal. Books never move me like movies do. I might crack a smile while reading or get chocked up while reading but never have I laughed so hard or got so emotional until I read Momma's Baby, Daddy's Maybe. You can't help but hear Maury's voice. POOKY, YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER. My favorite was Simone. Ladies how many times have we fell for the wrong guy??????? We will all relate to Miss Simone. I loved this book.

Mrs. Dames will make you take a second look at the simple details that we overlook in life. Review: WELL FIRST I WILL LIKE TO SAY THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK,JAMISE L DAMES REALLY BROUGHT SOMETHING NEW TO THE TABLE.THE JABOBS FAMILY WAS LIKE NO OTHER.I LOVED THE WAY THE BOOK HAD SO MANY TWIST ANDS TURNS(KEPT ME SAYING OH NO SHE DIDNT...)BUT IT MADE ME LAUGH AND CRY AT TIMES.SO THIS GOES OUT TO THE NEW AUTHOR GOOD BOOK AND KEEP THEM COMING OK,CANT WAIT TO READ PUSHING UP DAISIES HER NEXT NOVEL.

Review: When I ordered this book I thought it was going to be full of drama based on the reviews, but it turned out to be too slow and long drawn out. I would not recommend this book for readers with a short attention span. Didn't like it all.....I put it down after page 110.
