Summary: I haven't read a book this good in a very long time!!!!!!!!
Review: I am an avid reader and I must admit that this book is as good as it gets. For all of you that have read "Addicted", then you should read this as well. This author has taken six different characters and delivers you their drama from beginning to end. There is no wondering at the end what happened to this or that person or why was this part included. Not here. This book has many different emotional times. At times you want to cry and at times you feel like screaming you go girl! Don't you fellas out there think that this is just for the ladies because Ms. Dames put some issues out there for you too. All I have to say is Jamise keep all the good work and I will make sure everyone I know read your book. I can't wait for your second novel.

Review: I just finished this book and I had to write a review and tell everyone how excellent this book was. I got home from work at 12 midnight last night and I couldn't stop reading until 3 this morning. Then I woke up at 10am and finished it.This book had everything in it love,lies, suspense and eveything else. The characters Kennedy,Simone,Derrick and Michael you feel like you know them personally. This is a must read . I can't wait until this author's next book comes out. Pam

Summary: Could have Been Better!
Review: I just finished with this book and wasn't thrilled at all with it, I found it very predictable. I found it hard to finish this book which isn't good, because I'm an avid book reader. I knew what was up with Derrick, Michael, Nigel & Kaisha from the begining. The only thing that wasn't expected was the tragic death of one of the characters. I was so glad to finish the book that I didn't even read the preview of the author's next book which is at the back of the book. I know the next time I will go to go the library to read Ms. Dames' books. As for this copy it's going back to the store in exchange for something else.

Summary: Family ties and family lies!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I never expected this book to end the way it did. Suspense, drama and tragedy a great combination. It mad me laugh as well as cry. You would think that family would stick together and not backstab each other but not the Jacob family. All they did was hurt each other by having the biggest secrets of their lifes. You wouldn't believe the Jacobs have done a good job of hiding their secrets, questionable paternity and hidden agendas until the day it all starts to come to the open. Just sit back and relax and be ready for all the family ties and family lies. Also all the suprises to come your way when not expected. Will the secrets cause the Jacob to crumble??

Summary: Insult to intellectuals
Review: I read this book and I couldn't believe how negative it was - I only finished it because I always read a book to the end. I know this book is fiction, but come on - do black women and men need to be portrayed as stupid for the sake of making money? Some things, like the death of a child was unnecessary. I would not recommend this book unless the person was looking for a cheap read without any substance.

Review: I thought this was an excellent book. It keeps you guessing until the very end. For a first time author you should be applauded. Because you will only get better.
The sex scenes in this book are steamy without being raunchy that was a plus. Also the plot twists and turns will have you like what?????????? No she didn't. Some would say this story is not believable. But as one has said FICTION IS THE LIE THAT TELLS THE TRUTH. I also have friends that have gone through similar scenarios.

Review: I wish I was able to give it a more higher rating. I absolutely loved this book. This book was chosen as our book of the month for "Nubian Divas". We have yet to discuss the book. However, I have gotten calls at 12 in the morning, screaming at me because I did not tell them it would be like that. This book is an absolutely must have. A book that you will be able to read again and not get tired of. Ms. Dames, we are waiting on your next one on pins and needles. We cannot wait. The Nubian Divas are fans for life.

Review: I'm really really surprised at the 5 star reviews..I could not finish reading this book & the only reason it gets the few stars I gave it is because it kept in good enough condition to return to the bookstore....I just could not follow the story line..I feel the author kept out important details of the story & it was hard to follow..I would not recommend this

Summary: She Inked a Deal!
Review: It was only a matter of time before this cutting edge talent inked a book deal. The sad thing is that people knock authors when by their own admission they know that their genre of writing is not their cup of tea. Want intellectual babble? Move on then because this author is here to stay. The cover was redone and I think it's phenomenal and not to mention it's a marvelous book and has been refined for smoother reading. Take heed, this is the way a great story is done. I'm waiting for Daisy, hurry up!
