Rating: Summary: Momma's Baby Daddy's Maybe Review: 20 Stars for Momma's Baby Daddy's Maybe. My sister gave this book to me and it was the ONE book I could not put down. This book made me laugh, cry, and shocked the day lights out of me. It is an entertaining, full of emotion book that I have recommended to half the town I live in. The only down side to reading this book is that you will never find another one as good as Momma's Baby. So far I have read 10 books after Momma's Baby and I still haven't found it's match. Can any one out there help me find a book that can match Momma's Baby Daddy's maybe???? DOUBT IT! I will just have to wait for Jamise's second novel to be published. This woman has some serious talent going on.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!!!! Review: A must read!!! I am not even finished the book yet. Just started chapter 21 - for a first book this is AWESOME!!! I was surprised by some things that happened and didn't see it coming until a few paragraphs before it actually exploded. Somethings I did catch but was like no - that can't be. Can't wait to get to the end - I haven't been able to put it down. I usually just read on the bus but this has me reading at night too.

Rating: Summary: A satisfying read Review: Definitely a good story, had to get to the end to see what happened. Was surprised to some extent, but I did have some of the twists figured out before I actually read them. But when you read as many books as I do,that isn't too hard to do. I was impressed with the book overall, especially since it was Ms. Dames' first book. I will certainly read her second book, Pushing up Daisies, which I hope is coming soon. Although I do think someone should have done some proof reading, I won't blame that on the author. My hat is off to you Ms. Dames, and I advise anyone who is just thinking of reading Momma's Baby, go ahead, you will enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: The Author is Writing The 5 Star Reviews Review: Don't believe the reviews. The author is the one who is writing the good ones. This was an okay book. Nothing spectacular about it at all except the title. Not as bad as some out there, but not nearly as good as these five star author-written reviews. 1-5 it's no more than a two.
Rating: Summary: Simply Remarkable Review: Have you met a family where everybody had issues? If not meet the Jacobs. Kennedy is the drama queen of the family. She's got to have it all, even if it's going to upset her sister. She is a true believer in living life to the fullest; that is until life decides to change her plan without her consent. Simone is "glue" of the family. When her parents passed she was the one who took care of her siblings. Now she is ready to share her life with someone but in order to do that she is going to have to "unglue" her family in a sense. She learns that sometimes you actually do get what you pray for even if it isn't what's best for you. Derrick is the only man in a family of women but he doesn't mind. With his charming looks, great job, sexy body and great credit the fact that he has two children that get 34% of his salary doesn't scare of his prospects. Finding his one true love not only hurts but destroys the life of a family member. He has some real choices to make. Jamise Dames has crafted a masterpiece. Her novel will have you wondering how others perceive you. This is a marvelous book with an "unpredictable" ending. She is definitely an author whose name will be on our lips for a long time. Rating: Summary: Momma's Baby Review: Hi my name is Kwai and I reside in Framingham, MA. I could not and I repeat COULD NOT put this book down! We, myself and coworkers finished the book in one day!!! I hated reading until my supervisor told me of this book. It was excellent. We started a book club and have been reading books ever since. The only thing we absolutedly hated was the fact that the book was ending and that Jamise left us hangin' waiting for the next book, which isn't out yet. We are waiting with much anticipation and I am sure we will absolutely devour this one like we did the last. It's a great book! I loved it!!!!!!
